Hi! Yes my curls stay especially if I tightly curl my hair before I wrap it. It also helps when your hair is trimmed evenly..your hair holds curls much more like this. Also if the curls are like spiral curls before it's wrapped...they will be more looser once you take the wrap down. I hope this makes sense ❤️
Do you have a way to wrap hair in a way where your head doesn't get hot? I use a silk scarf folded in half like you have and it makes me overheat at night.

I actually just saw somewhere a woman use a netted cap to wrap her hair...I think I'm going to try that next!
