That's some next level work! It took me over half the video to suspect that one hand was fake. Then the wide range of movement! Blown away. That's almost like a marriage of being a magician and a ventriloquist.
I was trying to figure out how he does the head and arm at the same time - then halfway through realised the arm is controlled by slightly moving his foot! Very clever puppet...
I can't believe how amazing of a job he did, and using the new electrical machine to operate his movement in the foot. Must be ALOT of buttons, near each other and memorizing every single one and it's operation!!! THIS is TALENT!!!!

He's wearing a dirty cardigan, watch cap, and fingerless gloves, his face aquiver with ticks and mannerisms. He has a small dog in front of him.) Jay: (Rolls eyes as they step up to the counter) That is the worst disguise ever, that guy's definitely an alien. (A voice answers him, but not the Vendor's.) Puppets seems to be engineered very well. But may need to work on timing and misdirection because the lip movements are very noticeable. Also the voice isnt very diffrent from yours so it stands out.
Having the fake hand is cool, next thing to figure out is how did he control the arm and eye movement while moving its mouth. Maybe mouth remote in clenched other hand, but still moving eyes and arm? ... Maybe clenched hand has mouth motor and eye left/right motor.
Anyone notice how when the alien moves his arm David moves his leg and hold it tighter and looser depending on the way he moves his arm? None? Just me? Okay.

People won't stop comparing him from other Ventriloquist, especially to Jeff Dunham because Jeff is a Ventriloquist. Get the point? They are in the same profession. That is how we say BETTER or WORSE, we compare two things or two people or whatever. This man does have his own style, his own act, own characters, and he is great. But, on my personal opinion, he is too focused on giving Alien the voice, the character, etc., that he forgot to give himself his own character. See what I did there? Although, he is interacting with Alien, there are so few expressions (facial expression, movements, reactions, etc.) from him, few punchline from him, unlike Jeff who gives every puppets their own characters, own life, Jeff doesn' forgot that HE, too, is a character on the show. Jeff smiles, frown, gets annoyed and pissed, he stutters, etc. He show reactions and expressions (sometimes exxagerately to obviously show it) and all the movements like pushing the puppet, getting a fight with a puppet, etc. See what I did there?... But this is just my opinion, don't get offended although it is 2019 and people tends to get offended easily. See what I did there? 🤘🏻

I mean you oppened his mouth like a puppet in latex or foam but you also can move his eyes so I don't understand how he works How do you get the idea to create a caracter and how do you write your ventriloquist routines ? (Sorry if my english is not good I'm french)
It is really cool. I think that is a fake hand on the other side of the alien. I think the hand moving is controlled by the foot he is holding. You can occasionally see him hold the foot still, and move the body of the alien away.
