Investing in your health while not leaving your senior pupper alone is not just a good thing, it's a beautiful thing and I'm so happy Sherpa has you as his Dad Jaime ! Dog owners understand and even most caring peeps who don't own dogs or pets at all can recognise kindness when it's at home ❤

Big lump in my throat watching this one Jamie. Your gentle acceptance of Sherpa’s aging process and your tender care and attention to best meeting his needs is so admirable. Sweet Sherpy! 🤗🐕❤I feel sorry to see him quiet. What makes me happy is watching how Jamie takes care of him. That's so cute. Sherpy is a lovely dog and I love how Jamie pampers him. Today Jamie answered a couple of things that I also had wondered. Why Sherpy is on a lead while he is at home's park. And the purchase of the treadmill. I understood the latter because Sherpy can't walk much nowadays and so Jamie can exercise and not leave Sherpy alone. I didn't quite understand the leash matter. What I did hear was the sound of a car that seemed to be like one of Formula 1 haha! 😘🐕❤💙🤍💙
Let the fact that you have spent all your time with Sherpa making his life easier, more enjoyable and more loved, be a comfort to you. And please know you have the love and respect of so many people, and rightly so.
I used to run 2 miles every morning w my Australian Cattle Dog (and her poop run). Now she's 17 and I have to go for my run before I take her for a walk. She cries when I leave for my run. But happy as heck to go for the poop walk after (now w me and my coffee).
Makes our hearts sad when they get older and can no longer do a lot of the things they used to love doing. That doesn't make us love them any less tho. If anything, I think we love them even more.
Sherpa is so beautiful when he is just lying in the grass, chilling out with his nature pals the birds. I really enjoy seeing our domesticated friends being out in the wild (so to speak)--being their natural selves.
Don't let anyone make you feel badly about the treadmill! Our wee furry guy is sixteen, and we now take him out for a "sniff" instead of a "walk." He still loves to go places, he just isn't doing anything ambulatory when we get there (Soooooo, neither are we!). Good job taking care of yourself and your old man!!! 🥰

Sherpa is such a lucky dog having a great dad like you.
Aw thanks Eddie 😊
He would not be as strong as he is without Jamie's good care and feeding. To give his best to Sherpa, Jamie has to take care of himself as well.
Let the fact that you have spent all your time with Sherpa making his life easier, more enjoyable and more loved, be a comfort to you. And please know you have the love and respect of so many people, and rightly so.
you are a wonderful fur baby dad.
Aw thankyou lily 😊
Jamie, your right, investing in your health is a good thing, and you dont owe an explantion to anyone.❤
Bless you and Sherpa! Yes we all age and some of us not so gracefully. I get frustrated that I can’t do everything I have always done.
What a beautiful day! You are such a good dad, Jamie! Thank you for sharing Sherpa with us!
