    Great use of the suns energy! I want to add the tracking system to a full 15 Amp collector. Would have to add stronger motors?

    • @MukGyver
      @MukGyver  Год назад

      I would think that more powerful motors would definitely be needed, but the general principle of the tracker would remain the same.

      The sun moves slowly, so gear ratios are your friend here

    That's cool, I could actually use that.

    As a novelty it's interesting. For practical use, it's too small to be of value. No weather resistance either. Quirk.

      Thank you for your comments. Yes, it's just a concept, so it's small and not so powerful on the other hand it's a portable device, so if it will be too big it wouldn't be good either. But there is always room for improvements ;)

    where are your wires, also will there be no electricity left if you use the main solar panel to connect one motor?

    Where would it be possible to add a battery so it stores all the energy it has taken during the day?

    • @MukGyver

      You should attach additional solar panel for power generation and storage to the battery. See my other video.

    I've been kicking around the idea of using one of these computer-free autonomous trackers where, instead of connecting them to electric motors, the micro panels power solenoid switches that just complete the circuit to power larger motors on linear actuators in order to track with a full-size array. Have you considered or gamed out this idea?

    • @MukGyver
      @MukGyver  Месяц назад

      Unfortunately, I did not have time to consider this idea.

      I see a lot of options, you can buy dc motor with similar parameters, not necessarily the same.

    12v car wiper motors ? Make for a great propeller , just have it chasing the sun ?

    • @MukGyver
      @MukGyver  8 месяцев назад +1

      Will work, but solar panels of appropriate power will be required to run wiper motors.

      There are small 12v solar , will have plenty of torque too or use step up booster module @@MukGyver weld mount one to another with plate , I too will be having a go , looks like fun idea . That could work smoothly .

    Well done if you can give us circuit diagram it's helpful 👍👍👍👍

    • @MukGyver
      @MukGyver  Год назад +3

      There is no need for circuit diagram here, everything is clear. Solar panels connects directly to DC motors. See picture: ibb.co/nbWMCYQ
