What’s the use of these cods. They only cause problems. I couldn’t open my suitcase two times. First time I opened it by accident. Second time customs officer opened it for me.

Fortunately/unfortunately this applies to most luggage locks, which is one reason I don't use them when I get to my location, but rather non-TSA locks and sometimes use a tether cable with a heavier lock to secure things. But this "trick" works with most luggage combination locks in general because you can use the resistance to figure out the combo like you did here.
