    A review showing the clarity of .22 caliber bullet holes on a paper target at 100-200 yards was exactly what I was looking for. And, I appreciated your clarity and professionalism. Thank you!

    Is it better than the gosky 20x60x80 ED version?

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A Год назад

      I haven't tested the Gosky 20x60x80 so I can't give an opinion. The big difference are the focus controls. This uses a ring around the tube. The Gosky has a 2 step dial that is more traditional.

    How does it compare to leupold sx2 or a diamondback $500 scope?

    • @MoondogReviews
      @MoondogReviews  9 месяцев назад +1

      The Leupold SX2 is a close match in price and quality to the Argos. The Leupold is a bit sharper but Argos is a bit brighter.

    Do you think for most people the extra money for the argos is worth it over the talos ?

    • @MoondogReviews
      @MoondogReviews  21 день назад +1

      Most normies, no. Hunters and long range shooters will appreciate the wider eyepiece on the Argos.

    I like your review on the Athlon Argos. If I were to purchase a scope in that price range, which would you buy?

    • @MoondogReviews
      @MoondogReviews  7 месяцев назад

      The Leupold Alpine is a bit sharper in detail but with a little more chromatic aberration so it's a kind of a toss up. If you don't mind the smaller eyepiece, the Athlon Talos spotting scope is a better value IMHO.

    Hi! Is it worth buying this over the cheap emarth 20-60x60 spotting scope? Would the difference be substantial?

    • @MoondogReviews
      @MoondogReviews  Год назад +1

      Depending on what kind of quality of image you find sufficient, it could be night and day. But if budget is your concern, look into an Athlon Talos. ruclips.net/video/USHZC_8_Afo/видео.html

    Is it really wort to pay for the Argos vs the Talos?

    • @Moondog2A
      @Moondog2A Год назад +1

      If you want more durability and a slightly wider exit pupal, go with the Argos. But I prefer the Talos, becuase it's a tad sharper with only a little bit more fringing and it's half the weight. Hope you subscribe.

    You seem to like this scope which is understandable since it was sent to you for free, but the chromatic aberration on this thing is absolutely horrible. Way overpriced for the poor image quality you get.
