Thank you so much. I bought my Kirei about 8 month and found very few videos on the operation of this wonderful machine. So, I hope you will continue to make more videos. It does help a lot, knowing whether I'm operating certain features of the machine correctly. So far, I think the decorative stitches are fabulous. And even better is the wide space from the needle to the right, for quilting. The features of this machine are one of the best I've ever seen. Some features did take a while to learn. So, please keep the videos coming! Thank you.
I have this machine and really like it. I particularly like that the foot controller has a "feature" pedal to the right of the "go" pedal. At the end of the stitch, it will cut the thread and raise the foot by pressing the foot. It will also do auto begin and end secure (either lock or fwd/bk stitch) stitching. Simply make the selection. Begin sewing and lock stitch is automatic and touch the end pattern button...lock stitch, clip and raise. For those who enjoy foundation paper piecing that sequence is a life saver. The wide throat plate is the primary reason I bought the machine. With 12" to the right of the needle, it is plenty of room to move a quilt without feeling like you are wrestling an alligator The lighting is fantastic, and the machine is quiet.
Thank you for this helpful demo. It only makes me more sure that I want this machine. I would love to see how big of a quilt you can free motion stitch on with this Juki.
Thanks for this video. Would you say that this machine is much more designed with quilters in mind? I never (and will never) sew quilts, but I'm looking to upgrade my Janome for a machine with more stitch options, better lighting and above all, professional buttonholes and this Juki machine seems to tick all the boxes. Thanks in advance for your advice.
I would say it fits the bill perfectly for bagmakers. Because of all the decorative stitches for one, but also because you can change the feed dogs and stitch plate which will give you a nice heavy duty straight stitch as well.
Does the dual feed mechanism engage with all the feet? I ask because you can only engage Bernina dual feed mechanism with appropriate feet. Also, why is the Kirei the same machine as the DX 3000 (just different touch screen facade).
I now have this machine, which I was told is semi industrial, which is what I wanted to sew thick fabrics. Whilst it does sew thick fabrics, I find it very noisy when doing so. Also, the lights, whilst very bright, also make a faint hissing sound. Does anyone else find this machine noisy?

Not really. I think the Nx7 would be a really good fit for your needs. It’s a dream to sew on!
@@QuiltersHeadquartersSiouxFalls Thank you for getting back to me - I must admit, I'm very tempted!
Thanks so much ! Is this the latest from Juki ?
How about shipping. And warranty
How appropriate is this machine for bagmakers who want a multifeatured machine?
I would say it fits the bill perfectly for bagmakers. Because of all the decorative stitches for one, but also because you can change the feed dogs and stitch plate which will give you a nice heavy duty straight stitch as well.

Must use appropriate feet for any even feed machine. The Dx 3000 has words on the display and three more feet then the NX7

No mine is very quiet and hissing sounds either
What are your thoughts about this machine after 5 years?
Something up to date please.
Does it do free motion quilting?
Yes you can do free motion quilting. It has a nice large space for it too.
I am such dissapointed! An expensive plastic toy wich worked just 3 weeks. I hope i can give it back. Never again.
Sorry to hear that. Was it new, and purchased from a dealer?
