THANK YOU! I was astounded at how exposed the horn is when you showed it in your video. I've had my horn replaced TWICE and the mechanics charged me a couple hundred bucks each time. It just went out again. I'm going to your advice and see if I can fix it myself before I resort to taking it in.
Just to let people know, you can also pop out the plastic triangle shaped grill located under the passenger headlight, directly beside the main grill. You can then either tap the horn a few times to remove build up or unplug and clean off the connectors and try the horn again before replacing. :)
Good instructional video. I have a plastic covering on the bottom but it shouldn't be too hard to get to mine after it is removed. (Just 2 screws) Thanks for doing this. My wife didn't know the horn was out for weeks.
Thank you for the great video. Could you please tell me where I should put the other side of the horn wire? The other side of the horn wire is loose on my car.
I have been messing with my horn, trying to get it to work for the last month. I thought it was the fuse or the relay, swapping everything out and replacing the bits helped but only for a short while. I took it in and they replaced the relay again, but the horn is still not working right. Unfortunately, I'm worried that this is a bigger issue :')
Same issue here. I would bang on the horn assembly and it would work for a week or two then go out again. I tried contact cleaner and still no issue. I'll be looking to replace this one. Thanks for the step through
It's more than likely that the contacts inside the plug are corroded and the pins could be bent in a tad. Just did mine on my focus and that's what it was.
I took it off unplugged and clean off the connectors and it started working thanks for the video

How would you get to this???
I abandoned that idea because I was destroying that grill trying to get it off.
Hey bro...
Thank you so much for being so detailed in your explanations in your video....
God bless
Its typically NOT a problem with the horn its self, but rather the connection. I unplugged it and used Deoxit contact cleaner. Works fine now.

Where can I find 2014 ford focus se horn. Replaced relay and fuse and now it’s making clicking noise. Think I need a new horn. Where can I buy one ?

Mine too except it stopped working again a few weeks later.
@@rocks4brains use Deoxit on the connector.
Just had to clean the terminal off on the male end and works fine, no need to take the horn off really until you know the horn is actually faulty.
I don’t believe those three relays have the same number, the two outer ones do have the same code or number.
Where did you buy that horn from?
I walked in to the parts department at a Ford dealer, though you can probably find them online too.
