I feel exactly the same way. I was on the opposite side of most students when covid caused schools to shut down back in March 2020. I would never want people surrounding me!!!! Scary!!! It’s a bad deal to have fame and money! Many suffer and people don’t get it!! We should not judge each other’s journey. Be nice love each other.
fame and money could never give us what we're looking for, as someone who shops for a hobby I can say that it's a very expensive cheap thrill that is only temporary. So many of us want what stability in our personal lives but it's hard to get it when we've either been raised in dysfunctional families or dated dysfunctional people so we lose sight of everything we once knew to be good and true. I hope quarantine goes down for us as a time to begin the healing process and we can continue on our journey to self love even after things pick up again.
I like this. You guys are paying attention to how your content is received, you went so far as to make this video, because you know a lot of people automatically went "gross, a celebrity, they're trying to become famous too" and you guys were like "hold on now, that's not what's going on here." Or perhaps you thought nothing of it at all and you made this video for a completely different reason! People are cool. It seems like this channel is trying to provide really powerful knowledge to people, and if you gain a little fame along the way, that's great, but it's because that means you can spread this knowledge to more people. You're succeeding! Thank you for high-quality interviews, discussions, laughs and all the other stuff you make. You're making the internet a better place, one meaningful conversation and connection at a time.
I clicked on the Vogue thumbnail when I realized Dr. Ramani was in the video. 😃 To me, Dr. Ramani is a big celebrity and I would be so happy to run into her in the grocery store! I've seen Kendall discuss anxiety before on the show and given what she grew up in, it makes sense she would have anxiety. The interview was so well done, Kendall humbly open, and Dr. Ramani with so many good nuggets of wisdom and advise. I kept pausing to take notes. 😀 I love that these videos are normalizing around the context of discussing anxiety. I hope for a part two so more information can be given on how to navigate coming back into the world post pandemic when I really want to stay in my safe shell.
I have no idea who Kendal Jenner is. I paused this, and I did a search on Google for information on her. The first thing popped up was she is a sibling in the Kardashian family. I think it's very interesting that a model, socialite, and media personality revealed that she has social anxiety. I loved the way she is empowered by therapeutic advice. It seems she is managing it well. Once again it demonstrates that anyone can be faced with obstacles, which can be challenging.
"You can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". When a person is ripe there's an abundance of pop psych available. Public libraries are a wonderful source of info. A person can utilize their computers for online searches, the librarian would have a list of public health services available, and there's video and books to check out. All is not lost...
I agree that 'all is not lost'; that said, there is nothing that compares to real human to human empathic communication, as the value of really being SEEN by another is immeasurable. all the information and resources in the world can't replace what is found in real-time communication with another who is able to be truly present to us, offer us a loving reflection of what they see in us, and allow us to share our experiences without judgement. while books and videos can be powerful tools and play a supportive role, they cannot fully replace an actual therapeutic relationship.
@@devidaughter7782 Very well said. I agree! But, the pandemic has made environmental adaptation the game changer. Again, I agree with you because without the "personal touch" the applied concepts are a "one shoe fits all". Best wishes to you!
In my experience with recovering from anxiety what helped me tremendously was daily slow deep breathing exercises that activate the parasympathetic nervous system. I experimented with several different kinds of deep breathing exercises and I narrowed it down to one that is safe and helps tremendously but CAUTION I found that fast paced breathing does the opposite of what you want to achieve. You don't want to activate the sympathetic nervous system since that gets you into fight or flight mode. To activate the parasympathetic nervous system which helps you relax and get your lymphatic system working just sit on a comfy chair in a private or quiet place and breathe in through the nose until you fill your lungs completely, just breathe in how it comes naturally for you focusing on your breath in through the nose and then hold it for up to 8-10 seconds, if you can't hold it for that long it's ok just try to hold it for a bit until your ready to exhale. When you exhale let the air out as slowly as you can through the mouth with parsed lips and then repeat the exercise for 15 minutes, you can do it for longer when you get more use to it. You will feel better and more relaxed during and after the exercise, do it daily for faster results. If you feel dizzy or like your experiencing altered states of mind while doing this then stop, you are doing it too fast, it is not meant to make you feel that way when you take your time and do it slowly. I hope this helps anyone who reads this.
Good for you Dr. Ramani, Congratulation!!! I just finished reading your book " Don't you know who I am?" and I loved it, definitely a guide in my life about dealing with toxic and hard people around me since as you said it's inevitable to do not find some people with those traits out in the normal life. By the way, my sister is going through a hard situation dealing with a narcissistic and "Macho" husband and I feel this book would be really good for her mental health and well-being although she does not read English and I was wondering if there is a further plan about transcript your book in Spanish for the Latin population who is interested in the topics you speak due to we do not have so many accurate information about these topics in a Spanish version. (No, that I know)Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experiences and thanks Kyle for your channel I am a huge fan. Blessings for both of you!!!!
I can see that Kendell Jenner has social anxiety. Unlike her sisters, I find that she's not super active on social media. She's not on KUWTK that much. It looks like she just really likes modelling and she's passionate about that job. I've seen a lot of actors/actresses who just like acting but they don't indulge in being a celebrity. They keep their private lives very quiet and they try to stay out of the spotlight, they don't do lifestyle websites, they don't talk about their pregnancy or kids. I think it's totally fair to want to be a model/actor/singer and not want to be a "celebrity", which I'm guessing is the social anxiety part of Kendell Jenner's life.
I am 22 yrs old now, been suffering from anxiety for over 15 yrs (I've been suffering since childhood, it's just that I became aware about it later). I really wanted to say this, sorry if I sound stupid or weird. Sometimes I feel like I'm afraid to marry and have kids, because I feel what I have experienced as a kid, I will somehow knowingly or unknowingly pass on to them and then they will end up growing with the same issues I grew up with. These thoughts especially come before sleeping, and sometimes I stay awake thinking about it. What makes it worse is the fact that my trust levels have gone so bad that I don't even think a Psychiatrist will be able to help me.
Hey! 😥 i am so sorry u got no response until now and that you are going through this. I am no mental health expert nor professional but i understand what you are saying, maybe not to the same degree. I grew up eith a severly mentally ill father and for a lonnng time i denied the idea of marriage ot kids because i dont feel i can trust myself to choose a partner or i dont think ill ever have the confidence in myself and responsibility to become a mother or a wife... im still keeping that decision to not get involved romantically but i feel more confidence lately. Every parent has failed in some ways and to be honest i feel knowing u r truly loved and that ur parent is trying is a really important thing, maybe even the most... My father was mentally ill but i never felt like he was trying, u seem like u would rlly care for ur family so i think ud do ur very best. If u still have to work on urself than thats fine and if u think u shouldnt biuld that type of family that is also fine. Please dont lose hope! It can deffinetly get better!
I just found the interview with Kendall 10 months later. We had my daughter’s wedding in December 2021 and it was out first big family gathering since late 2019. We had nearly every family member come from both sides, including cousins who barely know my daughter. She was baffled that they all came. We realized that they came because they had been craving something to attend that was a celebration! Everything went great until the dancing at the reception. It was like everyone became socially awkward and didn’t want to make a fool of themselves. Many were wearing masks and I was uncomfortable NOT wearing one after 21 months. A week later the omicron variant hit the country and we were back to wearing our masks.
Congratulations dr ramani. I am following you for more than a year now. I am right of my feeling that you are indeed one of the best phsycologist on earth. Learning from The right person🙋♀️🥰🤗
I’ve been deep diving into all your videos, Dr. Ramani, and came on the one with Kendall and I will admit I too knew the name but I had never seen her or heard her speak. 😅 I’m guessing I’m about your age Dr Ramani, and do not view/read pop culture or main stream media. I also didn’t have an opinion prior. She seemed like a very authentic, professional, genuine, intelligent, empathetic, observant, sweet, kind, person😊 💚
13:01 ...admiring her for her beauty and composure could be counter productive to those watching this video who suffer from social anxiety as a byproduct of a dysmorfic behavior challenges.
Dr. Ramani is super smart and real woman, I really admire her. But I think it's interesting that the expert for narcissism interviewed Kendall, who's mother Kris Jenner seems like the textbook narcissist and that could be huge part of Kendal's anxiety.
I understand the mentality, also, I've wondered if the celebrity herself is aware of narcissism and how it effects the human mind and body. I don't watch shows about celebrities on tv so I can't say what her family (parent) is truly like and isn't, but if Kendal herself doesn't know much about personality disorders, she unknowingly is constantly fueling the anxiety bucket by turning to her mother, thinking that her mother is helping, because after all her mother is her mother. She possibly sees her parent as the successful individual who has all the answers due to having raised multiple children before Kendal and Kylie came along, and if she doesn't have the answers, she has the recourses to find the right answers.
Nice to know that not ALL big names have lost the connection with the world connection. Speaking of connection, while I watched the video, I suddenly realized how difficult it must be to interview all these experts on MedCircle. Kyle K (not sure of correct spelling) a shout out for the consistently excellent job. You make it seem so easy and natural, which isn't easy. You're questions are intelligent and pacing perfect. Well done!
Dr. Ramani is now a celebrity herself, and she deserves this. Now it's time to give credit to people who serve the society, and world, and we love them back..
I would expect it's more likely to *develop* some anxiety as a result of being in her position, just because she's not worrying about money or being in demand etc doesn'texclude that. There's a myriad of anxieties she could potentially be troubled with.
I remember when Princess Di came out about her anorexia and/or bulemia disease. It was a significant boost to other women and men who were struggling with this disease. It helps when someone infamous steps up and shares about issues that strangle our existance. Thank you Kendall Jenner.
This makes me laugh. I’m always saying you could put me in an airplane with every famous person in the world and I wouldn’t have a clue who they are. I ditched all tv 20 years ago. I remember when the 2016 elections came to town and people were so polarized about Trump and I thought maybe I need to find out who this guy is lol. Yes, that much in the hole of just taking care of my young kids watching kid DVD’s in replay. I have no idea who this young lady is. But I do know you Dr. Ramani ❤️❤️❤️
This is so interesting and I love that Dr Ramani didn't know who Kendall was before the interview. It was probably so much more genuine for their discussion for the client to have someone see her as just someone ordinary for the first time in a long time so she could open up and get a real dialogue going. I've never heard of the thing about people with social anxiety being the ones in hectic outgoing families who were the quiet ones. I grew up in an extended family of 11 people (most of whom were super loud, extroverted, boisterous and inviting friends over who were similar) and I would join in sometimes but I was mostly to myself as a child reading or filling out puzzle books. It wasn't a negative thing I don't think. I was just the quiet one and everyone was fine with it most of the time. They would sometimes joke that they'd forgotten I was in the house because I was so quiet and would disappear in a room for hours. I never thought that might be a factor in my anxiety. Oddly enough I think that makes me empathize with Kendall (who I honestly don't pay much attention to personally) because she was kind of thrown into fame by just being a part of her family and it was kind of a media circus. I would hate being forced into that much attention and fame so young and feeling like I had to compete with my famous, successful siblings who thrived in the limelight and then being expected to do the same when I came of age because fame was the family business. I don't care how much money you have, that's got to mess with a child growing up like that and being judged and gawked at during some of your core developmental years.
Just because somebody was purposefully mean or judgemental to you in the past does not mean you are less than them or that everybody else you meet in the future will try to put you down or be the same way. It means they obviously are not your ''friend type''. Thank god for those people so then you will know Who do you have to get away from. The people that are really made to be in your life are the ones who will accept you as you really are at a glance ''from the core'' so you dont have to worry to be accepted to anybody who simply do not fit in your puzzle. But who are the right ones? ❔❓❓ Those are the ones you express how you feel and even make fun off withought any fear because deep down you can sense they appreaciate you and you appreciate them. with this people ''social anxiety'' is none existant, because you are deeply connected to them emotionally and understand each other. The real ones always come with good intentions. whenever you experience ''Social Anxiety'' is because you are trying to get accepted by the wrong people. the people who are not meant to be in your tribe. the influences that dont match with the quality of person you are or want to become. So why bother carrying for the wrong people. FUCK THIS PEOPLE!! Just be you. ♥ The true you, the real & the authentic you. ''The mind cant be wasted'' with irrational fears. Send to hell the ones who dont belong in your circle. Fuck them, kick them to the pit. 🦶THIS ISSS SPAAARTAA!!! _Noelkinz
I will get hate for this. I am okay with that. I do believe she has anxiety. But. She is using this as a platform to grow herself. Look at this. When Dr. Ramani was talking to her. She interrupted her to bring up questions from her fans. We need to look at the truth before we look at anything else. Many will see what I am saying. Most, will not.
Dr. Ramani is so annoyed about how he is asking the questions with a "wow, you interviewed a celebrity!" kind of attitude and Dr. Ramani is trying to step away from the celebrity status to humanize her while he's too invested in the celebrity status. He annoyed me on this one. Dr. Ramani, thank you for not feeding his starstruck moment.
I absolutely love these two, (Dr. Ramani and Kyle) they are some of my favorite people that I enjoy watching here on RUclips and on their website. I'm with Dr. Ramani when she said her interview with Kendall Jenner ended abruptly, I would have loved to see more.
I'm the same height as Kendall (according to her biodata online) and people always emphatizes my height in the same way "You're very very very tall" which makes me a bit uncomfortable as if I'm a circus creature, idk, it's clearly an insecurity if I'm taking that as everything but a compliment. She's a model so it's part of her appeal, but when you're a regular person, handling all the staring is not cool.
Definitely a response to something that someone cant handle. An overwhelming amount of something, whatever it my be. In my case direct physical pain through taser torture, and beatings by cops, for non crimes.
Kendall grew up in a very public family to say the least. I cannon help but assume that this lack of privacy left her feeling over exposed and vulnerable. I am surprised that Dr. R did not bring this up. It is abnormal to grow up this way and despite her great success (and she is a real model!), there is a price. I am happy to hear that she is a nice sweet and polite woman.
Usually people with anxiety comes from narcissistic family’s. Dr. Ramani can write a series of books about that family. No one there is without issues, i feel bad for 60% of Kardashian’s
Dr Ramani, you are actually beautiful in this interview and dressed for the gods!! I havent seen Kendall warm up like this to anyone, even to her sisters lol I'm so happy for you x
Seriously thinking to unsubscribe Dr Ramani you tube videos. Lots of interruptions with commercials, and lately a lot of blablabla. Pitty! Feels like lucrative business.
It’s ridiculous, do the Kardashians have to always intervene, infect and poison everything. I have always loved, admired and needed Dr Ramani’s specialism in Narcissism due to being a victim of a narcissistic family for 30 years, which has been hell!!! I have been consuming all her videos for many years to protect myself. What I really appreciated from her videos was it was quite celebrity free and a private community, now I’ve lost some faith and credibility has lowered. Celebrities have endless amounts of money and resources to find help and still live a stable luxurious life, they don’t need any more attention or sympathy, especially if they have social anxiety. Millions of normal people are suffering, are not privileged, have to cope with their mental health whilst financially struggling and are on the verge of suicide. These are the people who Dr Ramani I believe should focus on and possibly interview. The fact of the matter is, it’s people like the NARCISSISTIC KARDASHIAN FAMILY who put their victims through HELL, then play victim, get away with everything and gain all the sympathy and support they need to get better. It just disgusts me, but that’s my opinion. I just feel very let down and disappointed 😞 (the celebrity world beauty standards, is one of the biggest reasons young girls and women all around the world have mental health issues. The Kardashian curse and effect is much more severe than people could ever realise). It just seems counterproductive and hypocritical. 🪦
ALL people should be able to get help, not only those you choose "worthy". A person who has money problems isn't automatically better, than a person who doesn't. Isn't worse either. Try to have a little bit more compassion and open heart in the future.
Not a fan of the kardashians but you terming them as a curse and that they dont deserve dr Ramani’s help shows your narcissistic personality. Everyone deserves a treatment be they of any social background.
Hi snowflakes, by all means she can seek help (which I already mentioned she has the money and resources for), however my point is the infection of this platform which helps millions of victims of severe abuse every single day. And no thank you, I do not have to have compassion for someone who has social anxiety, whilst advertising their life to the world and walking half naked down a runway. Change your profession, simple. I will have compassion for those who truly are suffering with little money and resources, exploited, controlled, the poor who struggle to find food every single day, abused individuals, sex trafficked girls forced into the industry, the homeless, addicts, victims of war etc etc etc. My heart goes out to all these millions of people ♥️ Thank you very much.
@@simsim876 I have to disagree I have social anxiety but I know if my profession was to walk half naked down a runway I'd have no issue doing so, disorders can be "weird" that way we're all different. I doubt Kendall out of all of them is doing this for attention. I'm happy she chose to do this to help others especially younger individuals. How we all feel matters, being selective continues the ugly cycles.
How is Kendall Jenner "culturally relevant?" This whole family has created unreal, damaging expectations for women and girls, false narratives regarding the acquisition of money and fame, they then court celebrity and then disdain or complain about it or are astounded by the fallout. Dr. Ramani- you mention her beauty several times. It's a genetic happenstance. She didn't earn it. This is just seemed like a star-f****r turn. The therapist dude was falling all over the Kardashian clan. Disappointing.
Perfectly said, I feel the exact same way. That family is an absolute curse of the world! People really can’t seem to fathom the negative effect they have had on the world. It’s just gross.
I'm to Dr. Ramani's words. She is a beautiful person. And I love watching her videos, I'm learning a lot from her about this field. 😊 Feel so happy to watch her here on YT.

Love her. Definitely want content like this.
Dr Ramani your brain and knowledge dresses you from head to toe and Vogue must be absolutety agree and proud for sure.
Such a good phrase i totally agree
You both always brighten my day. So grateful.
I would really love for Dr. Ramani to go more into Hypochondria… I definitely suffer, on some level, of this and it’s incredibly hard to deal with.
What is the book about
@@thedancelearner7721 A guide on how to manage relationship problems with narcissists and the proliferation of such toxic behaviour in society.
You are beautiful Dr. Ramini inside & out.. Greatly appreciate all of your work.
Does Dr. Ramni think that Kendall’s family is narcissistic...
I was wondering that too, and also joking in my head how they should have Kris Jenner on for their narcissistic section of their page.
Narcissistic traits, yes
well they are lol
Learning from
The right person🙋♀️🥰🤗
I’ve been deep diving into all your videos, Dr. Ramani, and came on the one with Kendall and I will admit I too knew the name but I had never seen her or heard her speak. 😅 I’m guessing I’m about your age Dr Ramani, and do not view/read pop culture or main stream media. I also didn’t have an opinion prior. She seemed like a very authentic, professional, genuine, intelligent, empathetic, observant, sweet, kind, person😊 💚
Very interesting. Thank you for the video! 👍🏼
Dr. Ramani taking "I dont know her" to another level
I thought so also.
A medical channel without closed captions feels ironic. Do those with hearing issues/loss not deserve access to this information?
Nice to know that not ALL big names have lost the connection with the world connection. Speaking of connection, while I watched the video, I suddenly realized how difficult it must be to interview all these experts on MedCircle. Kyle K (not sure of correct spelling) a shout out for the consistently excellent job. You make it seem so easy and natural, which isn't easy. You're questions are intelligent and pacing perfect. Well done!
Thank you & congratulations!!! We must be living on the same island; I didn't know who she was either. ...
Congratulations Dr Ramani👏👏👏
That's good that she didn't know who Kendall Jenner is. Once she starts looking into what family she belongs to, it will all make even more sense!
I don’t know much about the Kardashian’s but the bit I do know Kendall always has seemed like the odd one out in a way.
I remember when Princess Di came out about her anorexia and/or bulemia disease. It was a significant boost to other women and men who were struggling with this disease. It helps when someone infamous steps up and shares about issues that strangle our existance. Thank you Kendall Jenner.
Great job, & huge Congrats Dr. Ramani!! Thanks Kyle!! 😘💖🙏✨
Dr. Ramani you are wonderful. Insightfully helpful
Post pandemic social anxiety!!! Agree!!!
Absolutely love Dr Ramani and her fantastic videos on narcissistic abuse. An absolutely wonderful healer and personality!
These are good hardy conversations. Love them.
The mindfulness book "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels has good meditation exercises to practice.
Thank you for this debrief. Can you make a video about “going back to normal” transitioning after the pandemic?
Super! This is great!
Where can we watch the interview?
Here it is! ruclips.net/video/Eupw-yTBkQI/видео.html
Love love love Dr Ramani 🔥
I love Dr ramani so much. She is so real and understanding.
I don't care how much money you have, that's got to mess with a child growing up like that and being judged and gawked at during some of your core developmental years.
love Dr. Ramani! I discovered her through Red Table Talk
Dr!!! You sound like me!!! I’m clueless to those things too! Thank God I am not the only one.
Those are the ones you express how you feel and even make fun off withought any fear because deep down you can sense they appreaciate you and you appreciate them. with this people ''social anxiety'' is none existant, because you are deeply connected to them emotionally and understand each other.
The true you, the real & the authentic you.
''The mind cant be wasted'' with irrational fears.
Send to hell the ones who dont belong in your circle. Fuck them, kick them to the pit.
🦶THIS ISSS SPAAARTAA!!!

Eckhart Tolle teachings are perfect in addressing social anxiety
I absolutely love these two, (Dr. Ramani and Kyle) they are some of my favorite people that I enjoy watching here on RUclips and on their website. I'm with Dr. Ramani when she said her interview with Kendall Jenner ended abruptly, I would have loved to see more.
Dr ramani you looked beautiful and your dress matched the oranges on the trees in the background :)
Love this. 💛 Chris Evans also been dealing with Anxiety.
And depression in the past
I'm the same height as Kendall (according to her biodata online) and people always emphatizes my height in the same way "You're very very very tall" which makes me a bit uncomfortable as if I'm a circus creature, idk, it's clearly an insecurity if I'm taking that as everything but a compliment. She's a model so it's part of her appeal, but when you're a regular person, handling all the staring is not cool.
Definitely a response to something that someone cant handle. An overwhelming amount of something, whatever it my be. In my case direct physical pain through taser torture, and beatings by cops, for non crimes.
when is the interview coming out????
It's right here on Vogue's channel: ruclips.net/video/Eupw-yTBkQI/видео.html
Congrats on Vogue! Nice job! 💕
I love Kendall! I had a feeling she was struggling with some kind of anxiety. Celebs are people too!
There’s a saying: Be careful what you pray for.
I mean Kendell Jenner who is enjoying life and have enough money. It not same for people and students like me because we are in different world.
Divorced in a pandemic and college aged kids! A mess and my divorce was before pandemic. It has caused a mess
Is it an episode 1 for "How to trick your therapist" series?
Before the month is over, please give a perspective on the negative anxiety from people who live with Asperger disorder.
I don’t think Dr. Ramani’s particularly cares about autistic spectrum complexes.
Usually people with anxiety comes from narcissistic family’s. Dr. Ramani can write a series of books about that family. No one there is without issues, i feel bad for 60% of Kardashian’s
Where can I see that interview 👀👀👀👀
Here it is! ruclips.net/video/Eupw-yTBkQI/видео.html
DR RAMANI IS AMAZING!!!!
my dad knows it was not easy, when younger I stop talk to everyone but my dad
Wish my dad would understand because he holds the keys financially and he won’t help me get the help I need even though he is very wealthy 😥
Dr Ramani, you are actually beautiful in this interview and dressed for the gods!! I havent seen Kendall warm up like this to anyone, even to her sisters lol I'm so happy for you x
I like your artwork here Dr. Ramani.
Seriously thinking to unsubscribe Dr Ramani you tube videos. Lots of interruptions with commercials, and lately a lot of blablabla. Pitty! Feels like lucrative business.
💯 it feels like it’s becoming commercialised. It was so special and unique, I fear it’ll lose this now.
Where can I watch the interview?
Right here! ruclips.net/video/Eupw-yTBkQI/видео.html
Anxiety touches anyone. I truly want to say Thank you Kendall for giving this topic a voice. I hear you, and understand your struggle with anxiety.
I subscribed to both RUclips Chanel :)
Is it because people think she is famous... That it affects the her when she finds out she is not?
My heart goes out to all these millions of people ♥️
Thank you very much.
@@herganmusicitanagar9872 hi Sad Flower I suggest you get informed before making such claims.
Dr.Ramni for president
That is awesome that she is humble and grounded. Not sure how some stars loose that.
Great reply. I’m honestly appalled at seeing Ramani pander to that crap
Perfectly said, I feel the exact same way. That family is an absolute curse of the world! People really can’t seem to fathom the negative effect they have had on the world. It’s just gross.
I agree with everything you said, and my respect went from full to null.
I'm to Dr. Ramani's words. She is a beautiful person. And I love watching her videos, I'm learning a lot from her about this field. 😊 Feel so happy to watch her here on YT.
"There's nobody bigger than Kendal Jenner".......ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
