    better rich than lean and also there should also be a bit of smoke always even when warm when on full rev

    Норм!!! Тачка мечта для многих !!! Но мечты сбываются !!! У меня Ямаха вр400ф Я тоже когда то мечтал о ней с детства так скажу !!! И пришло время я вырос стал сам зарабатывать и мечта сбылась теперь я владелец этого замечательного мотика !!! Ребята надо мечтать я с детства мечтал о таком мото и мечты сбылись!!!

    That bike is running extremely rich. You're probably losing 2 or 3 horsepower, and you're destroying your low end torque by running it that rich.

    If you only knew anything... The bike was started cold. All two strokes, including my own, will huff smoke like that while warming up. Wonder why towards the end of the video that the smoke was thinning out? My YZ250 will look just like that warming up. Once I get into the woods you can barely see any smoke. This bike is no different. And according to the OPs comment below he had the mixture correct. Normally you mix 32:1. It's the baseline where everyone starts.

    mix it 32;1 and change the jetting planty of lubercation and will run amazing

    velice pěkná ;) ale ovladatelnost by měla být lepší než cr 500 kvůli té přivěře nebo se pletu? na kx sem ještě nejel ale cr 500 af vlastním :)

    anything 2 stroke smokes when its cold but at the and of the day even if it is a bit of a rich fuel/oil mix u don't hear of them seizing because of to much oil

    Petrol was mixed crosspower 1:33 Motorex 2T, because it was refitting the engine. Otherwise, I mix 1:50.

    I run 28:1 in my 300, smokes cold, no smoke at all warm.

    I own (and crazy love) a ktm 380sx and on heavy runs I mix 30:1 ( to be on a safe side) for me it runs good (better engine reaction). If you have started your bike cold it starts perfect. however I think ( only my humble opinion) it has to much fuel on high rpm the needle jet setting should solve the problem ( put it lower). WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT! make sure that the bike is warm enough otherwhise my advice is bullshit ( it burns well when it is hot) if it is better after it is warm forget it. Moreover check exhaust valeve it should ( at least for start ) open at the factory settings ( in my case it helped a lot!!!). Sorry for being boring, it should be not taken as critics but as a friend's advise. I would like to invite you to Poland to have a ride.

    Fuk that , too much oil in your premix is bad , the more oil going in means less fuel = lean = hotter running engine = sieze !

      More oil = more lubrication to the internals = loss of power = runs like it has a cold = won't seize.

      WVrocker6 No. There are 2 mixtures to factor in here. Fuel air and Fuel oil. If your Fuel oil mixture is too rich, it will create a lean effect in the Fuel air mix, as there is less ratio of Fuel to air, because there is more oil in the premix. So yes, running your bike with too much oil in the premix WILL cause a lean effect and can easily detonate your engine.

      Aaron Polcz 40:1 is fine for all things 2stroke just use good quality oil 25:1 is usually recommended by manufactures to avoid warranty issues only

      @@thephaze3 you're 100% correct. The carb must be jetted correctly for the fuel ratio. 20:1mix will cause a lean effect in an carb jetted for 50:1 The heavy oil mix is more resistant to flow thru the Jets. As long as the carb is jetted correctly, you can run any mixture you want.
