This is awesome. When scaled up the design can be used to make a 500 CID 8.2L v8 2 stroke or even bigger. A Detroit 2 stroke 16v149 is square like a kx500, (same bore and stroke).

As mentioned he is trying to find top dead center so he is giving the kick som force to see if he has found it. When the kick is stiff and won't go down slow with the force he is applying he has found top dead center.
actually he may not know and i am right i doesnt build up any compression. the reason they do it is to try and have a better chance at turning the motor over because somewhere about halfway down the motor stops any force from turning the motor over then about 3/4 down it goes again. he is trying to find the "top dead center" where the kick would be dead and not do any good. thus way he has a tremendously better chance at turning the cyliners to create enough compression in a single kick so the engine turns over and cuts on. i think the jokes on you, pal:)
I have no idea where to get parts for these other than eBay and things like that. i have one in my garage just rotting cause we can't find parts for it. :'(

I think the 500 quadracer sounds better. Never drove a kx500 bfore but I've rode on one when I was a kid. It was ok. I prefur my lt500
