This is without undervolting or using max fans so you could keep the temps well in check (I just didn’t want to do the tests with my tweaked set up for fear of confusing people)

I have literally just got an XPS 9710 in with 3060 and i9!! if you can wait a few days I will be able to help better as I have only just started testing it. @@MashITTech That's brilliant, I look forward to seeing it!! :) As for planned usage. 95% of the time just day to day browsing/YT, paired up to a 2nd screen (lenovo P27q20)most of the time. I might get back into PC gaming and down the line getting a DSLR, so photo editing. I'm most keen on the image quality of both screen panels. My last laptop was an XPS15 l501x with an OLED screen which I absolutely loved. A real shame OLED isn't an option on these 2 models. While i could get a XPS15 with OLED, I feel the XPS17 is a better (and cooler) machine, further I feel the x17 might be better bang for your £'s given the 16GB 3080 and the fact that even the base GPU's have higher TGPs than the top spec ones on the XPS17.
thank you, yes I am over the moon! I have wanted this monitor for a year since its release but it was just sooo expensive. And yes you need a stupidly big desk! I am lucky, my office is 2.8m wide so I use a kitchen worktop across the span.

Been using my aw 34” uw for years and love it. Been debating on getting the 38. Have a dedicated pc k built for that . My daily is an Alienware 18 I bring with me to work every day. Love the new x17 might consider the 4k 3070 of there are Black Friday deals etc
Thanks largely to your reviews, I have an Alienware X17 with the faster 32Gb RAM shipping to me at the moment. Unfortunately here in Australia only the 3070 model was available. I also bought the same 38 inch Alienware screen as well as the Alienware keyboard and mouse, all in white. I've gone full Alienware which was something I've always wanted to do. Found the same dock on Amazon Australia too. And have a laptop stand ready to go. I should have the full setup here and running by December! The screen is already here. @@MashITTech It's an amazing panel. I thought it would be too small, but it's a perfect middle size. The 240hz refresh rate really looks buttery smooth for games you can push that high, and just browsing the internet feels better to look at. The HDR6 600 makes games and video look absolutely beautiful as well. Dell seriously shines when creating monitors. When 4k panels are a lot cheaper, I'll probably upgrade to a 32-34 inch 4k, but for now, I believe it's the best 27 inch gaming monitor out there. I'd give it a solid 10/10, definitely recommend.
yeah 240hz is amazing, I used a 240hz 1080p Alienware for a year or so and loved it. I only moved up to the ultrawides as I am now working more than I game :(
Just made a similar set up with my X17 R1 3080 but paired it with Alienware’s AW271D (1440p 240hz). Happy to say I am blown away by the performance. Very surprised to be getting close to that 240 hz in multiple multiplayer games in 1440p. Also dropping resolution to 1080p on this monitor still looks great. Don’t think I will be going with a desktop ever again
I just purchased that exact setup and am unsure how to hook the monitor to the laptop, via displayport. I assume I need the adapter highlighted in the video?
Your reviews are the reason I purchased an x17, so thank you for those. Secondly, I run a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for my external monitor, and it works flawlessly at 1440p 144hz with Gsync. That being said, are you worried about using a single USB-C port for video out, and gaming peripherals? I’m wondering if that introduces lag of some sort.

I’m doing an Alienware theme for my gaming set up, I have an m17R4 right now. I’ll hopefully snag that new Aurora desktop on Black Friday and live off that for a couple years.
playing competitve gaming above 27inch monitor is pretty uncomfortable in my opinion, if wasn't for nowdays standards, the best dimension for playing dota2 is 24inch. but hey this monitor is soo gorgeous, even though your can't really see thoose flashy RGB.
I have to be honest I think I would possibly get my 25" 240hz monitor out for a try hard session but as I am mostly working these days this monitor has been amazing!

Unfortunately not! The Dell 38" does but that is made purely for productivity. This alienware 38" is tuned for gaming and missing a few productivity features. Also I haven't tested the 4K X17 as I can't get hold of one at the moment but when I played with the advanced Optimus on the m15r5 and r6 it was very buggy and I ended up just switching to dedicated mode :(
I seriously considered that monitor but I ended up not buying it and kept my LG CX OLED 48 as my monitor. I wish we had smaller OLED monitors that dont cost several thousand dollars 💵 / pounds 💷
The CX48 is a monster screen! how do you find using it as a monitor? I tried to do it with a 40" a couple of years ago but it wasn't the best experience (but obviously tech has massively improved since then)

I have an LG C1 48 and I was thinking of moving to this Alienware 😅 I had a LG 34gp3a before I sold and got the LG oled. The vertical side was too short for me on the 34inch and I was hoping this 38inch would alleviate what I didn’t like on the 34inch LG . What do you think ? Keep the C1 ? Or get this Alienware
@@MiguelRodriguez-kd5te keep the C1, once you go OLED everything else is ***less*** Wait a year at least too, the C1 is so new still. I'm sure they'll have a 38inch QD-OLED ultrawide in a year or two
Just a head's up... If you run the AW3821DW at 144hz it drops down to 8bit color. If you want 10bit you have to drop the speed down to 120hz (that way you have 4:4:4 chroma subsampling). Oh and you do that through the Nvidia control panel in windows.
So now 2 years later. I have an Alienware M16 RTX 4080 and the display as Alienware AW3423DWF. Also a hydraulic monitor arm , an RGB cooling pad and Razer Black widow V4 Keyboard and a Razer Basilisk Mouse. So, do I have ultimate setup? Just asking....
a 27" QHD is probably the sweet spot for most people, especially if you mostly game. As I split my time 80% work and 20% play the 38" is perfect for me (though not for my wallet!!)

I would love to get the x17 with the 3080 but it’s sold out here in Europe. I also would want the 360 hz display. My old Alienware 17 which is 12 years old is dying. It actually burned a hole in the back of the screen but it stil works.

The Dell U.K. website is saying Aliebware X17 with the 3080 graphics card is 'sold out'. The 'help' haven't a clue when they will be back on sale. Do you know anything about the situation. I want one with a 3080 but not if I'm going to have to wait forever!!! Thanks for any info.

I have the same monitor and the x17 but with 3070 and it's run amazing, however I hate Razer products specially keyboard and 🐭, I use the White ducky with blue box switches and the Alienware AW510M also in white, I use the Alienware headphones AW510H also in white and they are great but I will be changing it for a wireless one I am not sure of what model yet 😊
I also hate Razer keyboards but do love their mice (I have a huge mouse collection, probably about 40 mice 😲 ) I also have a massive mechanical keyboard collection and also love Ducky, particularly my Ducky Miya Pro 65% in red switches! What type of cables are needed to connect to the docking station. I have dual AW3418DW monitors and they only have HDMI & DP ports. Is there a special type of cable for thunderbolt gen??

Is alienware x17 powerfull enough to render some 4k project in Adobe Audition, give me to do something in Adobe Photoshop and show me 30-40 chrome tabs at the same time and without freezing (out of processor time)? All laptops a have before could not do that. So I have to work on my desktop which I want to swap. You know, mobile processors much weaker than desktop versions.

Thank you mate. I undervolt and overclock the cpu with throttlestop and I also overclock my gpu by 125/250 in msi afterburner. I am pretty sure I show my setting for the cpu in the x17 deep dive if you are not sure on throttlestop
How are you finding the Nari? I managed to get hold of a set of Nari Uptimate from Currys outlet a while back which allegedly had a damaged box yet turned up immaculate! Cost the same as what the Nari Essential does! Also how is the mouse? Currently using a wired basilisk v2 Also potential video idea.... Bought my son the Medion I5 10400f with 3060ti from Aldi which should be turning up soon. Distinct lack of videos here in the UK on these machines.
I am mostly loving the Nari, sound quality is great, wireless range is great and the ergonomics are good for extended use. My only gripe is the volume wheels location on each ear cup, the amount of time I take the headset off and accidentally screw up my volume and can't work out which dial I hit 😂
I've been watching your reviews on the X17. My buddy got a crazy good deal since he works at BestBuy. He got it for $1500. He contemplated returning it but I told him I'd buy it off him. It's the 360hz model with the 3070. What do you think? I'm REALLY thinking of grabbing it.
Hi Dave, another great video :) thanks for sharing, I just got My X17 - I7 - 3080 - FHD 360hz a few days ago and thinking about getting a monitor but struggling to understand the refresh rates and so on. What is the maximum resolution and refresh rate I can push from the laptop to the monitor? Am I limited to 1080p as that is what the laptop screen is? Was looking at this "ALIENWARE - AW2721D". It says that it can run "QHD 2560 x 1440 (DisplayPort: 240 Hz)" hopefully this makes sense. looking forward to you advise.
Good question but you can have what ever external screen resolution you wish, it doesn’t matter what your laptop screen resolution is as it just sees it as a second monitor. I have the 1080p base panel and use the 38” 3840x1600 with either USBC or displayport 👍

Absolutely love it! for work it is incredible. For gaming I found it a bit jarring at first as it is just so big but I quickly adjusted. If I only planned on using a monitor for gaming I would probably recommend a cheaper 34" ultra wide but for my mix of work and play it is incredible

Hey David I’m a casual gamer (no shooting games and my favs are like Sekiro, Diablo, God of War etc ). I have recently ordered a x17 3060 I wonder whether this can work well with the 38inch monitor?
Yes for sure, the 3060 is a great card still and will certainly play slightly older titles at native res, for any titles that you can’t get decent fps at native you can either drop the res/settings, play it in a windows (as the screen is so big anyway!) or use dlss if available.
if you need any advice ask away! the Alienware monitors are a good choice in my opinion as the warranty and build is brilliant on them (unlike LG) but as always get a decent discount voucher or check amazon

Either will work perfectly. I use a DP to mini DP and also a USBC dock that has DP and both allow me to use full resolution with the correct refresh rate and gsync
Hello mash, since watching this video I ve made it my goal to create this setup. Sadly no 3080 left in whole Europe. Can you tell me how does this monitor perform with the 3070? You mentioned it struggled but can you give examples
hey mate, yes it is a real shame, hope Dell manage to get the stock of 3080 back soon but in answer to your question...the 3070 is a bit slower at higher resolutions and also has 8gb ram instead of 16 on the 3080. But if you are happy to drop a few settings, potentially enable DLSS on more demanding games I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I originally had the 3070 and it was a great card but I max everything out and that is when it started to struggle at 3440x1440 (and now 3840x1600) with more demanding titles
great video, have you had any issues in any games when attached to an external monitor / TV? I have x17 w/ 3080 as well and when I have attached to LG OLED or even an ASUS 4K G-SYNC and with certain games ( RDR2, Gears Tactics, Hitman III ) whenever I am using the built in display does not seem to be any issues, runs utilizing as close to 100% of the GPU as possible and very smooth experience. However when using either the HDMI attached to LG C1 or even DP and 4K monitor those specific games are all over the place in terms of GPU utilization and are completely unplayable because of the constant drops / spikes in FPS and GPU utilization. I just recently got mine so it is using Windows 11, so not sure if this might be a contributing factor or not.... but curious if anyone else has experienced any issues with any of these games or others when running an external display that is 4K / HDR.
That is odd. Have you tried switching it to dedicated only to see if that resolves it? I use mine n my 25” 34” and 38” Alienware monitors and get full performance, gpu is usually 98% used or more (depending on the game). Also are your nvidia drivers up to date?
@@MashITTech I don't know why.... but I think the underlying issue is that I had "Hybrid Graphics / Optimus" disabled in the BIOS when I am using the built in screen ( 4K UHD 17" ). When I enable that option again when using an external monitor / TV seems to fix the issue.

You have to wait for Dell to reduce the monitor on the website and then also use a voucher. I managed to use a 15% voucher plus 6% toipcashback after it had already been reduced! If I see it reduced again I will put an announcement out

unfortunately I only used the 3070 on my 34" 3440x1440 Alienware ultra wide, I sold the 3070 version to get the 3080 version. 3070 coped really well as 3440x1440 so I think with a bit of setting tweaking it would hold up well
I’m looking for a monitor and don’t know if is should go with ailenware 38 or 34 inch curved for both gaming and school work I would just be plugging in a the Alienware x17 r2 with the i7 and 3070
I prefer the 38" as I like all the real estate I can get plus it is slightly faster panel than the 34" IPS, if you are considering the 34" OLED I can't really help there as I haven't tested it
What do you use the external monitor for? If just gaming I reckon the 27 but if gaming and work the 38 is amazing. I am actually in the middle of comparing the 51m r2 and x17, I am still trying decide which one to keep!
@@MashITTech I used play loads of dota2, however the sea server barely has any new player, always ranking with same old fellas in Australia. Now i'm playing fortnite only because its popular so i dont have to queuing for ages (COD is not very hot in Aus dunno why). Some other times watching youtube and doing work based on web, no heavy design or high tech software involved. I've compared 38 and 27 on dell's website, （my 25 it's a bit small, im going to throw it to the office for work）38 obviously has wider screen yet 144hz, 27 smaller screen with 240hz. hard to decide
Even though it is only 144hz, moving from my 240hz 25" (same model as you) didn't feel that noticeable. The panel still feels incredibly responsive. My only gripe is it can feel a little too big at first in FPS games until you become used to it. But with your use I think the 27" might suit you better. And that's a shame about DOTA, it is still really popular in the UK and so is COD
Hi buddy. I have the i9 with 3080 and huge power brick 330w. Did you ever try the slimline 240w adaptor on your 3080 and have you managed to buy a 2nd PSU? I just can’t get one from Dell no matter who I ask 🤷🏽♂️
Hello mate, yes the 240w worked perfectly and I got very minimal throttling (like a couple of percent less in benchmarks without undervolting, can improve scores with benchmark) still haven’t managed to buy the new adapter but got the old 240w for the time being which I keep in my laptop bag and the 330w on my desk. Hope this helps and when I can get the new style adapter I will let you know

I have a 11800h, 3080, 32gb 3200 cl22, 165hz 1080p screen x17 r1. I'm looking to upgrade my ram. I noticed its running in gear 2 (memory controller runs at half speed). I was told 3000 cl16 ram would use gear 1 (it didnt). I tried crucial ballistix 3200 cl16 but when I enable xmp it won't boot. What is your recommendation for faster ram than the default 32gb 3200 cl22?
My laptop says that because an external display is connected it can't use the nvidia graphics and always uses the intergated with terrible performance. Is there any way to fix this? I've been looking for weeks and running out of options.
I am currently using a Samsung G7 4k 144hz, it is amazing! I will have a video soon, but I am using it for my 4k game testing that I will start adding to the reviews

@@MashITTech It's an amazing panel. I thought it would be too small, but it's a perfect middle size.
The 240hz refresh rate really looks buttery smooth for games you can push that high, and just browsing the internet feels better to look at. The HDR6 600 makes games and video look absolutely beautiful as well. Dell seriously shines when creating monitors.
When 4k panels are a lot cheaper, I'll probably upgrade to a 32-34 inch 4k, but for now, I believe it's the best 27 inch gaming monitor out there.
I'd give it a solid 10/10, definitely recommend.
yeah 240hz is amazing, I used a 240hz 1080p Alienware for a year or so and loved it. I only moved up to the ultrawides as I am now working more than I game :(

Just made a similar set up with my X17 R1 3080 but paired it with Alienware’s AW271D (1440p 240hz). Happy to say I am blown away by the performance. Very surprised to be getting close to that 240 hz in multiple multiplayer games in 1440p. Also dropping resolution to 1080p on this monitor still looks great. Don’t think I will be going with a desktop ever again
I just purchased that exact setup and am unsure how to hook the monitor to the laptop, via displayport. I assume I need the adapter highlighted in the video?

Your reviews are the reason I purchased an x17, so thank you for those. Secondly, I run a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for my external monitor, and it works flawlessly at 1440p 144hz with Gsync. That being said, are you worried about using a single USB-C port for video out, and gaming peripherals? I’m wondering if that introduces lag of some sort.
No lag at all! The usbc has enough bandwidth and separates out the alt DP so you still get gsync

The hubs are a bit of a minefield, make sure you get one with DisplayPort, do not get one with hdmi as that will be 1.4

the 3070 ix a solid card. at 1080p it performed almost as well as the 3080. It Is only at higher resolutions the 3080 starts to increase its lead
playing competitve gaming above 27inch monitor is pretty uncomfortable in my opinion, if wasn't for nowdays standards, the best dimension for playing dota2 is 24inch.
but hey this monitor is soo gorgeous, even though your can't really see thoose flashy RGB.
I have to be honest I think I would possibly get my 25" 240hz monitor out for a try hard session but as I am mostly working these days this monitor has been amazing!

Unfortunately not! The Dell 38" does but that is made purely for productivity. This alienware 38" is tuned for gaming and missing a few productivity features. Also I haven't tested the 4K X17 as I can't get hold of one at the moment but when I played with the advanced Optimus on the m15r5 and r6 it was very buggy and I ended up just switching to dedicated mode :(

The CX48 is a monster screen! how do you find using it as a monitor? I tried to do it with a 40" a couple of years ago but it wasn't the best experience (but obviously tech has massively improved since then)

Just a head's up... If you run the AW3821DW at 144hz it drops down to 8bit color. If you want 10bit you have to drop the speed down to 120hz (that way you have 4:4:4 chroma subsampling). Oh and you do that through the Nvidia control panel in windows.

a 27" QHD is probably the sweet spot for most people, especially if you mostly game. As I split my time 80% work and 20% play the 38" is perfect for me (though not for my wallet!!)

I would love to get the x17 with the 3080 but it’s sold out here in Europe. I also would want the 360 hz display. My old Alienware 17 which is 12 years old is dying. It actually burned a hole in the back of the screen but it stil works.

I have the same monitor and the x17 but with 3070 and it's run amazing, however I hate Razer products specially keyboard and 🐭, I use the White ducky with blue box switches and the Alienware AW510M also in white, I use the Alienware headphones AW510H also in white and they are great but I will be changing it for a wireless one I am not sure of what model yet 😊
I also hate Razer keyboards but do love their mice (I have a huge mouse collection, probably about 40 mice 😲 ) I also have a massive mechanical keyboard collection and also love Ducky, particularly my Ducky Miya Pro 65% in red switches! Looks like a great set up! I'm with you on the matching colours - I was looking around for an external alienware monitor, but they don't seem to offer all versions in the dark side of the moon option too. Everything I have is that colour so makes me feel uneasy opting for the lunar light finish :'D

Is alienware x17 powerfull enough to render some 4k project in Adobe Audition, give me to do something in Adobe Photoshop and show me 30-40 chrome tabs at the same time and without freezing (out of processor time)? All laptops a have before could not do that. So I have to work on my desktop which I want to swap. You know, mobile processors much weaker than desktop versions.

Thank you mate. I undervolt and overclock the cpu with throttlestop and I also overclock my gpu by 125/250 in msi afterburner. I am pretty sure I show my setting for the cpu in the x17 deep dive if you are not sure on throttlestop
How are you finding the Nari? I managed to get hold of a set of Nari Uptimate from Currys outlet a while back which allegedly had a damaged box yet turned up immaculate! Cost the same as what the Nari Essential does! Also how is the mouse? Currently using a wired basilisk v2

Bought my son the Medion I5 10400f with 3060ti from Aldi which should be turning up soon. Distinct lack of videos here in the UK on these machines.
I am mostly loving the Nari, sound quality is great, wireless range is great and the ergonomics are good for extended use. My only gripe is the volume wheels location on each ear cup, the amount of time I take the headset off and accidentally screw up my volume and can't work out which dial I hit 😂

What is the maximum resolution and refresh rate I can push from the laptop to the monitor? Am I limited to 1080p as that is what the laptop screen is? Was looking at this "ALIENWARE - AW2721D". It says that it can run "QHD 2560 x 1440 (DisplayPort: 240 Hz)" hopefully this makes sense. looking forward to you advise.
Good question but you can have what ever external screen resolution you wish, it doesn’t matter what your laptop screen resolution is as it just sees it as a second monitor. I have the 1080p base panel and use the 38” 3840x1600 with either USBC or displayport 👍

Absolutely love it! for work it is incredible. For gaming I found it a bit jarring at first as it is just so big but I quickly adjusted. If I only planned on using a monitor for gaming I would probably recommend a cheaper 34" ultra wide but for my mix of work and play it is incredible

Hey David I’m a casual gamer (no shooting games and my favs are like Sekiro, Diablo, God of War etc ). I have recently ordered a x17 3060 I wonder whether this can work well with the 38inch monitor?
Yes for sure, the 3060 is a great card still and will certainly play slightly older titles at native res, for any titles that you can’t get decent fps at native you can either drop the res/settings, play it in a windows (as the screen is so big anyway!) or use dlss if available.

Either will work perfectly. I use a DP to mini DP and also a USBC dock that has DP and both allow me to use full resolution with the correct refresh rate and gsync

hey mate, yes it is a real shame, hope Dell manage to get the stock of 3080 back soon but in answer to your question...the 3070 is a bit slower at higher resolutions and also has 8gb ram instead of 16 on the 3080. But if you are happy to drop a few settings, potentially enable DLSS on more demanding games I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I originally had the 3070 and it was a great card but I max everything out and that is when it started to struggle at 3440x1440 (and now 3840x1600) with more demanding titles

great video, have you had any issues in any games when attached to an external monitor / TV? I have x17 w/ 3080 as well and when I have attached to LG OLED or even an ASUS 4K G-SYNC and with certain games ( RDR2, Gears Tactics, Hitman III ) whenever I am using the built in display does not seem to be any issues, runs utilizing as close to 100% of the GPU as possible and very smooth experience. However when using either the HDMI attached to LG C1 or even DP and 4K monitor those specific games are all over the place in terms of GPU utilization and are completely unplayable because of the constant drops / spikes in FPS and GPU utilization. I just recently got mine so it is using Windows 11, so not sure if this might be a contributing factor or not.... but curious if anyone else has experienced any issues with any of these games or others when running an external display that is 4K / HDR.
That is odd. Have you tried switching it to dedicated only to see if that resolves it? I use mine n my 25” 34” and 38” Alienware monitors and get full performance, gpu is usually 98% used or more (depending on the game). Also are your nvidia drivers up to date?
@@MashITTech I don't know why.... but I think the underlying issue is that I had "Hybrid Graphics / Optimus" disabled in the BIOS when I am using the built in screen ( 4K UHD 17" ). When I enable that option again when using an external monitor / TV seems to fix the issue.

You have to wait for Dell to reduce the monitor on the website and then also use a voucher. I managed to use a 15% voucher plus 6% toipcashback after it had already been reduced! If I see it reduced again I will put an announcement out

unfortunately I only used the 3070 on my 34" 3440x1440 Alienware ultra wide, I sold the 3070 version to get the 3080 version. 3070 coped really well as 3440x1440 so I think with a bit of setting tweaking it would hold up well

I prefer the 38" as I like all the real estate I can get plus it is slightly faster panel than the 34" IPS, if you are considering the 34" OLED I can't really help there as I haven't tested it

@@MashITTech I used play loads of dota2, however the sea server barely has any new player, always ranking with same old fellas in Australia.
Now i'm playing fortnite only because its popular so i dont have to queuing for ages (COD is not very hot in Aus dunno why).
Some other times watching youtube and doing work based on web, no heavy design or high tech software involved.
I've compared 38 and 27 on dell's website, （my 25 it's a bit small, im going to throw it to the office for work）38 obviously has wider screen yet 144hz, 27 smaller screen with 240hz. hard to decide
Even though it is only 144hz, moving from my 240hz 25" (same model as you) didn't feel that noticeable. The panel still feels incredibly responsive. My only gripe is it can feel a little too big at first in FPS games until you become used to it. But with your use I think the 27" might suit you better. And that's a shame about DOTA, it is still really popular in the UK and so is COD
Hi buddy. I have the i9 with 3080 and huge power brick 330w. Did you ever try the slimline 240w adaptor on your 3080 and have you managed to buy a 2nd PSU? I just can’t get one from Dell no matter who I ask 🤷🏽♂️
Hello mate, yes the 240w worked perfectly and I got very minimal throttling (like a couple of percent less in benchmarks without undervolting, can improve scores with benchmark) still haven’t managed to buy the new adapter but got the old 240w for the time being which I keep in my laptop bag and the 330w on my desk. Hope this helps and when I can get the new style adapter I will let you know

Ok ok I just got the huge 49 inch G9 Black Friday deal at 1k I tried but I couldn’t pass that deal up unfortunately I have the Best Buy x17 that’s running at $2,500 now 3070 please tell me I’ll be fine😭
the 3070 is a solid card but with that high a resolution you will need to tweak settings or enable DLSS if you want high FPS

I have a 11800h, 3080, 32gb 3200 cl22, 165hz 1080p screen x17 r1. I'm looking to upgrade my ram. I noticed its running in gear 2 (memory controller runs at half speed). I was told 3000 cl16 ram would use gear 1 (it didnt). I tried crucial ballistix 3200 cl16 but when I enable xmp it won't boot. What is your recommendation for faster ram than the default 32gb 3200 cl22?

My laptop says that because an external display is connected it can't use the nvidia graphics and always uses the intergated with terrible performance. Is there any way to fix this? I've been looking for weeks and running out of options.

What’s a good 24-27 inch that runs 4k with high frames? Does it have to be a monitor with hdmi 2.1 since the laptops output is hdmi2.1?
I am currently using a Samsung G7 4k 144hz, it is amazing! I will have a video soon, but I am using it for my 4k game testing that I will start adding to the reviews
