I've never been a fan of Sureyyas but this is one time she's in the right of it! This is all on Faruk not even Ozgur! My husband was a top executive in his company and they had a very strick protocol for working with female employees and clients: if they were meeting in their office with them the door had to be open and if there were Windows the shades open and vo workers present, No going to lunch alone a 3rd co worker had to go with them, No traveling alone on an airplane much less a car, a co worker had to go or spouses were invited to go if they could, No staying in hotels alone, again a 3rd party had to be there, a spouse or co worker and there were more these were for dealing with female employees and female clients! Yes it was more expensive for the company, but they always said it was cheaper than a Sexual Harassment Law Suit or being put in an uncomfortable situation like this one! I think sub consciously Faruk liked what was going on and he was enjoying the special attention and care: her working alone late at night with him! Her bringing him her "Special" tea to relax him! Her making him her "Special" cabbage rolls! Her giving him neck massages! And for a supposedly Intelligent Successful Business Man going to a hotel room where he was staying alone with his female assistant in his bath robe the guy would need a Brain Transplant not to no that was wrong and broke all the rules!!!! No excuse Faruk Own It and quit shuffling the blame to your shocked wife and the young girl! Losing all respect for you!?!

When Okan rushed to the house to confront Faruk, I love ❤️ it Firek defending his brother for the 1st time, even tho he ddnt know the hole story! And why did Sueryya try to talk to Faruk when he was the one that messed up here??? He should be saying sorry n try to make up with his wife, but he wanted to be alone n what about your wife's feelings ??? Faruk accused Surreya of being distant when he’s the one who’s been distant. In fact, he has a guilty conscience because he knows he cheated on her et seems unwilling to admit his role when something goes wrong in their marriage.
Surreya wasn’t tossing the past in his face she saw him kissing another woman et had every right to be upset.
Instead of understanding this et her doubts or acknowledging how he may have given she who shall not be name the wrong impression; which in this case he did, he accuses Surreya of being unyielding.
She’s at home taking care of their child, cleaning up his messes, et graciously playing the roll of Mother to his son yet he continues to act as if he’s been wronged.
Since Faruk claims he’s tired Surreya should take a few days to herself so that he can realize she doesn’t have to be put up with all the constant drama et baggage being attached to him brings. I think he’s overvaluing precisely what he’s contributing to thier relationship because what concessions has he actually made for Surreya? She moved into his house, was initially continuously mistreated by his Mother, put up with finding out about a love child et is now taking care of him as she would her own, forgave his adultery, has been the scapegoat for everything in the house, is the only one truly looking after his mother with her illness, and now she’s been embarrassed by him et his psychotic secretary who thought is was okay to put the moves on a married man; yet Surreya is the enemy…

Faruk y Süreyya llegaron a este punto, por la siguiente razón, Faruk se dió cuenta desde un principio que el le gustaba a Özgur, el se sintió bien y le siguió el juego a la chica, el perdió el control, y creo que inconscientemente se embolucró sentimentalmente con ella a tal punto que descuidó a su esposa y a sus hijos, y si Süreyya no llega de sorpresa al hotel las cosas ivan a terminar mucho peor.
Wrong! Her intention never crossed his mind. He thought of her as his family. He was too busy with the new company, paying all their doubt and other responsibilities. He even didn't have the time for his son. He was shocked by Ozgur's action and hurt when Surreya didn't believe him

@@Tiaaa927 I never tried to blame Surreyah, not once. In one of the future episodes, the part where she apologized, I commented that she shouldn't apologize as her instinct was right. Faruk didn't see it coming because the girl is young and almost a family. I believe that he saw her as his younger sister, which he shouldn't have, and admired her for her skills, ambition, and hard work. Though she is a go getter, I don't believe that she had any intention at the beginning. Her friend is the bad influence. Anyways, the damage is done, lesson learned. In the future, Faruk will be very careful when it comes to women colleagues or friends.
But the way Esma always defends her sons even when they are wrong always telling them it's not their fault 😡😡😡

I’m new to the show but had a different take on the scene. Surreya has become the heart of this family but was hurt ,embarrassed and therefore disconnected. She is the problem solver but no one could help her in this situation. I appreciate your perspective. It’s such a great show.
The couple never recovered from the stupidity and Selfishness of Fatruk! He had stopped trying even before this horrible incident! BUT yet he blamed Sureyya!!
I think ozgur had bad intentions from the start. Faruk never looked at her like that. She was just an overzealous kid to him like he said he saw her as a little sister. Sureyya saw it from the start. She didn’t accord her the respect as her boss’ wife. Saying stuff like at your age and showing how more she was. She should never have put her hands on her boss like massaging his neck he was stretching his back. Then bring him food she made. Her reaction when he asked her to accompany him to the meeting. How she eyeballed the house probably dreaming of moving in. I worked in an office. You don’t dress like that in corporate. Strapped tops are not professional work clothes and takkies a no no. She was wrong no matter what her friend said

Shows how a mother can notice what is going on in the life of her chn. This is what is known as motherly instinct.

22:15 😂 this scene reminds me one of South Asian mother-in-law’s conversation. 😆 when her son cheated on her daughter-in-law, she told her daughter-in-law to accept whatever he does. Her daughter-in-law was so heartbroken. They were separated afterwards. That’s why, when girls get married, it is important to check how her mother-in-law will be.
In this series, even though Esma sometimes make so much drama, but at the end, she likes to have everyone together. She offered Suraiya her shoulder to cry. She went to talk to Kymet for Ipek.
I thought Bride of Istanbul’s bride is Suraiya, but it actually Esma. This is the first turkey series I have been watching. Thanks to them who bring it to us by translating 👍
I still think that the bride of Istanbul is Sureyya. It doesn't make sense if it's Esma. Esma is from Bursa, and most of her life was always around Bursa. Sureyya is from Istanbul. So the bride of Istanbul is Sureyya.
Fikret is a good husband n a amazing father, never saw yusaf holding his daughter yaz in his arms, like fikret does.
Of cause he is. It’s normally the mother that bond with the baby first but Ipek didn’t want the baby so Fikret was the one that formed that bond

When Surreya and Faruk are *happy* everyone else is either jealous and miserable or scheming. But when *everyone else* is happy, they know how to put more stress and pressure on Faruk and Surreya, making them miserable. 😞

In this instance I think that Surreya's instinct was 100% right. Farouk is not 100% not guilty. He is a grown man with children he won't admit it but he did lead her on. No married man will allow his young assistant to give him a neck massage innocently. Subconsciously he was enjoying the attention and he knows it. He should never have taken her on that trip, actions speak louder than words. Usually he has my support but in this instance nope. I don't think he would intentionally cheat but he needs to admit that he was also at fault and in this case Surreya even Akif saw the potential. He chose not to see it.
Agreed. Faruk is dishonest in his thoughts and deeds. Putting this on sureya. He led her on with his constant praises, massages etc. He knew sureya had insecurities where Ozgur was concerned yet he never told her he was taking ozgur on the trip

He is innocent. The message was a mistake and he told both Sureyya and Ozgur how it happened. Sureyya said she believed him, but yet she chooses to be this way with him. He knows she is hurting, but she won’t let him near her to give he4 reassurance and comfort.

we know that this is a movie /TV series but this happens to a lot of women throughout the world.
Faruk, lies and infedilities have caused Sureyya endless pain, loneliness which you so bravely have throughout your marriage thus far tried and hold it together you feel everything so very deeply.
We’re not at all surprised that you have insecurities and trust issues majority of us, if in a marriage such as yours would have left that toxic family and their Konak ages ago .
Faruk, does not deserve you he has changed you into something which you never wanted to be - It has transformed you into a person
that at times you do not recognise yourself and because of it most of the time you feel lonely and insecure.
You have forgiven Faruk on countless times, but you can’t forget and you shouldn’t.

That is Faruk’s way of punishing Sureyya - ignoring her and not talking to her. He did the day after their wedding. Stayed at his office and would not answer her call! I can't figure out what has Faruk's panties in such a wad, as they say. But when Sureyya went out to the greenhouse to tell Faruk the girl was okay, I don't think she apologized at all. I think that conversation was mostly translated wrong. I heard no "uzgunum" in her sentences, which is Turkish for I'm sorry. While grateful for the subtitles in English, I think many of the conversations are actually not translated correctly. 😢
It's totally Faruk's fault for paying too much attention and excessive compliments to Ozgur which is really unnecessary and inappropriate. If Faruk had not been overly friendly and kept his conversation with Ozgur to a minimum and strictly professional, he would not be in the hot soup. Faruk should have known better with extensive experience having affairs with women that he is playing with fire by sending too many mixed and wrong signals to his besotted PA. Don't tell me Faruk didn't notice Ozgur's weird behaviour around him. 😅 To me Faruk is enjoying it. For a married man, he would be lying not to notice Ozgur's crush on him yet he didn't do anything to stop it. He can't pretend he is unawares of Ozgur's blatant move and intention because he can see it coming. In short, Faruk is not indifferent and equally tempted if he cares to admit it. Bringing Ozgur for an overnight biz trip was a bad move on Faruk's part, inviting temptation and scandals. This proved that Sureyya was right all along about Ozgur's excessive interest and infatuation with Faruk despite his denial. Call it women's intuition.
