  • I'm back! Starting out the new year with an important video. Do you choose a 1 year or a 3 year vaccine for your dog. These are decisions that every owner will face about their pets core vaccinations.

MUST WATCH VIDEO! Thank you for all the easy to understand research you've done!! I appreciate everything you're sharing. EXCELLENT WORK!! I have a small dog, Coton de Tulear. As a puppy, he received all of his vaccinations. He did have an adverse reaction which cleared up and I've never had him vaccinated again. I did not have him neutered, he's still intact. He's 9 years old and has the energy of a puppy. I've taken him in for a full check up plus blood work, he's in excellent health thank goodness! Having said all of this, I know that vaccines are important especially for puppies. My dog does not 'socialize' with other dogs, but that won't prevent him from picking up something on our long walks. Parasites in other dogs pooh live quite a while and dogs absorb these parasites on their feet. So, it's extremely important to keep a close eye on your dogs health at all times.

Your channel has been the most educational for me in rearing my 64 pound Ausshole named Jet. You’re very diplomatic in your approach and I really appreciate that. You don’t judge, you state the facts and I really respect your work. Thank you for everything Xoxo from Texas.

For the Mic, you may need a certain driver installed from the company for that mic. It should have come with some instructions for getting the driver if that is the case.

Hi we adopted a 6 month old male dog that we rescued from a huge Shelter in AZ we think he could be German Shepherd and coyote he was over vaccinated according to other videos similar to yours he has all his shots and then some do I need to get him a rabies shot at a year old at the end of Jan it would seem too much what do you recommend we do? In AZ dogs get a rabies shot at a year old and busters every 3 years Thank You John 14:27 Ps Do you recommend a Tider test to check for antibodies before getting a VX

Thanks so much for this information. It's very helpful to me regarding my own dog. I'm trying to research info regarding feline rabies vaccines - 1yr vs 3yrs .... and I'm struggling to find much. I am in the U.S. If anyone can guide me to a good resource for such info, it would be appreciated. I am making an assumption the information in this video is specifically for dogs as it states. Thanks in advance for any input shared! 😊

A surgeon who treated my pets advises not to get the 3-year vaccine as it has a higher risk of sarcomas in cats. She has done thousands of tumor removals. My friend (a vet tech) doesn't suggest it to any clients either.

This is about dog vaccines. Cat vaccines are different and I would have to do more research to figure out the pro's and con's. There should be peer reviewed publications online on the topic that you mention (sarcomas linked to vaccines) that people can access to see whether or not the data supports it.

@@animalscholar I just wanted to inform others. My surgeon doesn't think the 3-year rabies shouldnt be used on any pet due to how many scarcomas she has removed but I understand what you are saying.

Very much appreciated! I know you have to dance around this, but unfortunately we cannot trust our vets anymore than we can trust our doctors unless they are thoroughly screened. The pet food and pharma companies pay for nearly all of the studies done on animals, and they are heavily embedded in the veterinary colleges.. I do believe that most vets go into the field out of a true love of animals, but what they are taught is biased. Then they take a job in a clinic where, again, they are pushed to work in the best interest of the clinic's financial success, not the animal. There are very few independent vets anymore, who can actually do what is right without threat of reprisal. This type of information presented here is vital to the wellbeing of our loved ones. I base my decisions on the best information I can get, and I do not comply with the advice of vets. Nor do i comply with local or state laws. I do what is right for my dog.

Love this information! Thank you ! I had gotten my Aussie who is now 1 yr 1 month, a Lyme vaccination. Its efficacy is 99%. The company states IF my pet contracts Lyme, they will assist in paying for testing and treatment. My dog did get bit and had a reaction from a tick…and I’m still nervous…. I give her Simparica Trio on top of it….the tick here are every bad! Could you maybe shed a little light here ? Thank you!

Thank you for great video. I didn’t understand if we need 1 year booster with Rabies vaccines. I have 13 months old puppy. Our vet said that dog needs Rabies vacs now (one year booster) and then in 3 years. Thank you for your answer.
