1. The ship turns faster than the ship’s wheel. 2. Story sucks 3. Combat is repetitive and too Arcady 3. Boarding is a dumb cutscene 4. Material grind is a bare bones mini game 5. Game stutters and lags a bit at times. 6. Stamina bar was a dumb idea 7. UI is confusing, rough, missing user friendly components, and outdated. 8. npc behaviors are outdated 9. Graphics’s are meh 10. Main character is mute, rigid. Has uncomfortable movements and behaviors at times 11. Too many black screens Game deserves a 5-6/10, worth $20 at most, and Ubisoft are a bunch of scammers for trying to sell it at $60-70, AAAA, and calling it a pirate game. It’s a pirate ship game, mainly a naval combat game with a pirate theme, with elements equal to an indie game or a project, not much of a full game. The gaming media isn’t wrong, at that price point the game is hot garbage. Even at $20 it’s pretty bad, nothing changes that, it’s just more stomach-able at that price point due to the quality value being reflective of the price value. The sole reason holding the game up is the semi entertaining combat system which is semi due to it being fun yet repetitive as mentioned before. At no point in the game will u ever be doing anything else than sinking ships, cuz that’s all the game allows for. Even hunting animals becomes obsolete by early game, like outside the tutorial and can only be done on the 1st ship received…. It’s almost like the concept wasn’t thought completely through, as if it’s not a complete game As of 5/22/24 the servers are nearly dead with only 3-4 players found per server
In BF you're the character in S&B you're the ship , it's actually pretty simple , players just don't get it . When it comes to PVP did you miss the update ? You can literally enter PVP in the open world by raising a flag .
When I recorded this video it was not in the game. I schedule videos a few weeks in advance. I get your the ship but it was announced as a pirate game, that indicates you play as the pirate, not the ship. I get the criticism but I personally find it pretty good fun
I have been playing since open beta and I am having a great time. PvP is now in the game!
Yeah and seems to have the flag system I mentioned. Maybe I read it somewhere and just don't remember. Seems too spooky I had the same idea otherwise!

I do agree. It can be good fun but I haven't played it in a long time now so doesn't hold my attention well

Gamers get it, it’s just not what they wanted nor promised. The people who should “get it” are the devs. The game is on life support.
