Indeed. With a fairly simple gameplay and a huge storytelling potential, the designers recognized the best areas of expansion - and they are giving them to us. I expect one of the future updates to be just one large scenario book (like we are getting now with 6 chapters) and some special cards needed. I can't wait to get my hands on the new expansion! Arnak is the most played game in my group.

I really like the ability to just put everything in the basegame and play right away. Most of the time I am not really a fan of these "mini campaigns", because I just like playing the game with my group as it is with just more stuff ^^. Win-win situation for both parties. Danach führe ich auch noch die Ortsaktion aus (2 Kompass und einen Gegenstand) ? Oder das nicht? Oder entscheide ich mich zwischen dem reparieren und dem nehmen der Ortsaktion? Die Regeln sind eher nicht so optimal eindeutig bei einigen Dingen !

No one. If you are confident in your idea, you do what everyone else is doing - go to the Board Game Geek and write up/attach your idea/expansion on the forum for people to use. Because the designers of Lost Ruins of Arnak have a thousand ideas of their own already, I guarantee you. So, Board Game Geek, start a thread, see how it goes and how well it is received. If it is something that gains traction and people actually like and play, there is a small chance some aspects of it will be implemented in some future expansion if there is one, if game designers think that it fits their idea for the future of the game. You are one voice in hundreds of thousands who has "ideas for the game". Why would anyone pay attention? And I am not saying this in bad faith. If you want to have ANY chance of adding something to this particular game you have two options: 1. Board Game Geek path, posting ideas and files, people playing, giving feedback, you gaining critical mass of players who think it is a good idea etc. 2. Get a job at Czech Games Edition and pitch the idea directly. Writing up "I have an idea for this, who can I contact about it?" leads you nowhere. It sounds entitled and spoiled from you. Folks from CGE are extremely polite, so they might even answer you in a polite way in comments, but not in the way I think you'd like. My comment stays if you want your idea moving somewhere. And that's basically what all of us do. 0.1% of ideas manages to push through, other 99.9% die on forums. That's the reality of it. But even so, you can still post your idea and resources on the forums so a few dozen people who like it in the end can continue playing with your ideas in mind. And who knows, you just might be in that 0.1% of people who's ideas get traction that they get implemented in part or in full to some expansion/future game. Good luck!
The expansion looks really nice. Just wondering are there any changes to old cards or balance changes in this expansion or as a faq somewhere? Just wondering if any balance issues have been noticed with expedition leaders being out for awhile.

They are part of the Expedition Leaders expansion. These are the only changes we have introduced to Lost Ruins of Arnak so far." Yeah, that assistant and artifact were the only things updated - and that would have been done even without Expedition Leaders as they were bit too powerful. And the fact that no more balancing is needed even with added content and everything tells you all you need to know about the quality of game design! Other games, when add expansions, usually need to change either the core rules or give you a revised set of original components. Arnak crew did such a good job that you don't really need that. As a fellow game designer myself, I see that as an awesome achievement! It is not an easy one to pull off and many professional designers (board games, video games...) actually have a problem with that.
