  • recovery isn't just about gaining weight and food?
    no.
    it's about finding yourself again and gaining freedom and a life that you are so deserving of.
    if i didn't decide to recover than i would have never gotten Ollie.
    he is a living breathing reason for me to recover, he needs me and dependent on me if i'm unwell i can't care for him and give him all the love and attention he most defiantly needs!
    recovery is the best thing that's has ever happened to me and it is only ever going to get better.

    rain you seem like such a lovely girl and you’re doing incredibly well in recovery. i’m now pretty far along in my own anorexia recovery journey and maintaining weight and safely reintroducing exercise, and my life has improved so much. i’m able to hang out with friends, have meals out, and genuinely not be fixated on my body constantly and it’s such a wonderful and beautiful thing. you will do this, i believe in you 💕 you truly are an inspiration and despite how hard it is it’s so worth it to keep going and challenge everything. it’s a long, hard process but it’ll all pay off in the end 💕

    Hi Rain,
    I just wanted to say how wonderful you are doing and how impressed I am with your journey. I am so excited for you- having Oliver in your life is going to be an incredible experience. You will have someone to share your feelings with. I am old enough to be your grandmother. I had my own AN journey in the past. I had two Golden Retrievers ( consecutively) who were the loves of my life. I did pet therapy programs with them at local nursing homes and Alzheimer’s Residences.
    I am so proud of how far you have come and your positive attitude. God bless you and Oliver!
    Much love,
    Abby

    Good luck!! It is so worth it to recover. So much brain fog cleared.
    Personally I got into strength building and high protein foods after gaining some initial weight. Helped me both heal my perception of my body and take care of it even better (I never really worked out before just restricted).

    Goooooo Rain you are incredible and inspire me in recovery too 💕💕💕 Keep going lovely for a future with Oliver!!
    Just a lil request that if you use behaviours currently to get through eating (like breaking up biscuits) could you not show those they can be quite triggering xxx

    • @hannahcollardgray4448
      @hannahcollardgray4448 2 года назад

      You choose how you react. Behaviours take time to rewire, so please be patient with Rain, and maybe don’t expose yourself to things that you find triggering. Rain will stop using those behaviours when they don’t serve a purpose anymore and she has come up with new, better habits.

    Hey rain! Ur videos have truly been an inspiration for me to recover. However bloating for me has been the most difficult. I was wondering what kind of things do u do or think whenever u bloat or feel unwell of even if ur not feeling comfortable in ur own body ( if u even bloat that is)

    • @RainBoyd
      @RainBoyd  2 года назад

      I do bloat, everybody does, I remind myself that my body is bloating because I'm helping it repair itself. I remind myself that it is normal to bloat and that if I didn't then I know I wouldn't be giving myself the right amount of food it needs.
      It is hard to come to terms with it but it will get easier and with time you'll learn to except your body. And remember no matter what you still need to keep eating and listening to yourself.
      Hot water bottles might help and warm drinks,i like laying flat on my back and taking deep breathes and whenever I go to prod or bodycheck instead I make a heart with my hands around my belly botton. I know it sounds weird but it helps :)

      @@RainBoyd omg rain I love this advice! I'll definitely try the heart thing, it sounds so cute! Also, tysm for taking the time to respond to me! Ur truly such a beautiful and kind soul for helping so many people out
