I’m going to call a spade a spade, as an AAMU alumni, when I was in school, I always got excited when we play Jackson State in any sport. They are the most supportive fans I’ve seen out of all HBCUs. I know it’s 10x better with prime there.
As a Cowboys fan, I absolutely hate Prime coaching at Jackson State, but for the SWAC and our culture, I love how Prime changing the game for us. HBCUs are starting getting theirs again and that hits different.
First off shout out to Prime for opening that door and laying the foundation of being a real true coach. As he was saying he didn't promise him anything he have to work for it. Coming from a strong household in the South that's some of the realest words you can tell a kid and once you win mom over might as well send her to Jackson State too!!
