I didn't have to replace any parts this time (pins were just loose from use over 4 years), but this channel will be my first stop for any appliance repair or part.
I would like to thank this genius of a man for posting this video! Yesterday, the one side of the handle to my Samsung freezer pulled off into my hand when I was opening the freezer. I would have never known about the Allen wrench trick to release the other side and reaffix it correctly without this video. Such a life safer!! Was just going to super glue the one side back but this is MUCH better. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a great video! My Freezer handle came off and I was thinking of replacing the Handle Support entirely but the problem ended up being that the screw holding the one side of the handle was loose! Got the 3/32 wrench and it fixed the problem. Hope this helps anyone out there!

My Samsung freezer drawer is very similar to the one in the video, except that the handle sits on a solid front. When the handle came off, the white plastic handle inserts, as shown in the video, seem to be in perfect shape, but on the drawer are 2 very small gray pins on each side of the handle that seem broken. I've re-seated the handle successfully on several occasions, but it is not usable, as each time you pull on it, it comes off. Is there a replacement for 4 little the gray pins?

Neither does mine. You probably fixed it or broke it. Use a small flathead and turn it 90°, pull the handle away from the door with the screw driver in position then pull it out and the handle pops off.

Can you please verify that model number? Have you been able to get the door to open up yet? Have you looked to see fi there is any ice built up along the door where the gasket is or if there is any damage to the gasket itself?

(EDIT) This one required a flathead and a 90° turn, keep screwdriver in position, lightly tug on handle and remove the screwdriver. The handle pops off. Next "complaint". The paint started pealing on both the frig handles. Stripped them down to find one is aluminum and the other stainless. So Im hoping etching primer will solve the paint issue so all three handles look the same.
