In this video I react to Skynd - Tyler Hadley
About this band as described by my Patron:
They have songs about serial killers Gary Heidnik and Richard Ramirez. There are songs about demented murderers like Tyler Hadley, Katherine Knight, and Mary Bell. And then there are songs about tragedies like Elisa Lam's suicide, the Columbine school shooting, and the Jonestown Massacre.

Also, I recommend another one. Their newest one 'Columbine'. Its about the Columbine Massacre. They even have one about the cult leader Jim Jones. (I recommend doing research before listening so the lyrics and video makes sense.)

"Electro Metal" is a genre I think he made up. Skynd is pretty hard to categorize. Likes this track, that has a TON of trap influence. Anywho, glad you are checking out Skynd!

I mean, they retweeted this recently - "The latest trend in social distancing is to scare people away with a nasty doll representing the metal-electro artist Skynd."

Tyler Hadley's case= Mental health's conversation. Tyler Hadley, es la conversación sobre salud mental. La mayoría de las canciones de SKYND hablan sobre salud mental. The majority of the songs from SKYND talk about mental health and its importance. I like your video, peace from Chile :)

Skynd is phenomenal. If you liked them. Kid Crusher is pretty unique hip-hop meets metal with a strong horror vibe.

I think electro-metal is the closest thing to a genre that Skynd fits into, each one of their songs is entirely unique to fit the subject of that song (some more rock heavy like one with Jonathan Davis from Korn, and some more electro). They also are pioneers into the world of true crime music since all their songs are based off real world people and the lyrics are facts of the cases. I would love to see your reaction to all of their songs but I recommend just browsing the Wiklpedia of the subjects if your not familiar before reacting. Great job man!

I'd recommend Jim Jones next. That was the first song I heard from them and its something else. It always catches me in the feels when I listen to that track.
But yeah Skynd is difficult to nail down into a genre, as its different for each one. For instance Katherine Knight plays like a slow, mellow romance song for a bit. If you were to do Elisa Lam, I'd definitely recommend also looking up The Elevator Game, which is a South Korean/ Japanese urban legend, otherwise the song will be a little confusing if you're unfamiliar with it, and some of the more superstitious threw that out as a theory because of that last known security cam footage of her actions.
Also Tyler Hadley, Floridian, killed his parents in their beds with a hammer, proceeded to throw a party with their bodies upstairs and no one knew. Planned for a party the next night, but told his friend what he did, who in turn contacted authorities, went to jail, its fairly recent? Like within ten years I believe maybe.

Tyler Hadley killed his parents back in 2011 in FL. He killed them both using a claw hammer. He took 3 X pills before doing it. He started with his mom first, he stood behind her silently, for 5 minutes while she was doing work on the computer.
As he began killing her she was screaming and asking him "Why". His father came rushing in and froze up at the whole scene so Tyler killed him as well. The two locked eyes for a moment and he also asked "Why?" Tyler replies "Why the fuck not?" Then kills his dad.
He hid their bodies in the master bedroom with the hammer between them. He trashed the room with loads of stuff and locked the bedroom. Then threw a house party for like 2 days straight. He later told his best friend what he did. His friend didn't believe him at first until Tyler showed him where they were. The guy said he saw his father's leg sticking out from under all the debris in the room.
The next morning the friend and another anonymous caller reported it and Tyler was arrested that morning.

You messed up by NOT watching the video …. It’s performance art about a very real crime with many details like him popping 3 ecstasy pills, murdering his parents ( his mom was sitting by the computer) and his friend helping him hide the bodies before he threw a large party with his parents bodies in a closet . Down to him yelling why the fuck not when he was arrested . SKYNDs videos are visual art more than lyrical art .

You don't get that much out of these songs if you don't read the about the case first. Little bit stupid music included but this video quickly summed up the whole case of Tyler ruclips.net/video/IyZz03wwH58/видео.html

Ummmm yea these aren’t meant as comedy Christ, have some RESPECT…..he butchered his parents. Anyone that laughs and thinks it’s sooooo hilarious ….only shows how uncomfortable they are ….if you’d just show you’re true emotions it might be interesting…..laughing?
Cop out. And they aren’t metal.
