So the shot right after you removed the side clips and the next shot showing the filter cover look totally different. Am I missing something? Time stamp 1:02 to 1:05
It's the same area, I just moved the camera from the side angle to a shot that's right in front of the glove box to give a better view. Otherwise it's the same.
How many miles did this Grand Caravan have when you changed the filter? I recently changed it on a 45k mile GC and it did not look nearly as dirty as yours.
I estimate it had about 60,000-65,000 miles on it at the time we recorded the video. I would recommend checking the filter more often as this filter was extremely dirty.
I have the same van and replaced my cabin filter also. But On the side of the filter has arrows. Do i put the filter with the arrows pointing up or down?
It actually did show it. Your arrows were pointing down. I'm pretty sure you put yours in correctly. I've done worse in my videos so don't feel bad. I couldn't even change my tail light without stripping it and having to cut the assembly. Lol

Can a dirty filter cause cold air to come out instead of heat ?
Not entirely sure, but my guess is that the cold air might be caused by something other than a dirty filter.
A dirty filter wouldn't cause that, but a faulty thermostat could.
I guessing the flow go from up to down.
