In response to some of what's below, where it should be. I don't care about her diction. I don't care about whether she's "New York ready," whatever the hell that means. I don't even care that she doesn't have all the so-called "skills" and "tools" that a singer is "supposed" to have. (Billie didn't have these either.) What I care about is that she's capable of a genuine jazz groove and can swing. The girl has it and she's had it for a good long time, considering her age. All of which makes her highly listenable and a joy to watch. Of course one can't predict how far she'll advance as a musician, but from what I've seen and heard of her so far, there's a world of potential there. There's a purity of music about her. I pray she'll retain it always. In the meantime, credit where it's due.

But (but!) she's one genuine young woman, three instruments (including her voice), five languages, 500(?) songs in 100 styles of Jazz and other music, 10,000 Volts of energy and joy! Thanks to Joan Chamorro and the internet, she's "World ready"!

Ms. Motis, Mr. Chamorro (and company) we would be honored to have you perform in our city (the city that invented Jazz) and hope you would consider playing at our Annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Your talents are second to none. I hope to one day witness your ensembles beautiful talent in our fair city.
I was a fan of Andrea after the first 2-3 videos I saw - and of virtually everyone in the larger group. A big thanks to RUclips - many hours of watching them at this point. I love to hear her speak and sing, and her accent is a lot more interesting to me than my own boring pronunciation. I've enjoyed seeing how supportive and friendly she is to others. I admire the inventive melody lines she sings and plays so well on trumpet and alto sax - wish I could play 1/10th as well. I also don't think I've seen her more lovely than in this video. I have much good to say about others but Andrea has become a special artist for me.

I can't say that I've ever heard this song in quite this way before. The trumpet was a cool addition and the whole band was in full swing in this one. Very jazzy and funky :)
Andrea is wonderful. All of the girls from the larger band can really sing. I have never seen so many talented singers on in one group. Eva, Rita, Joanna, Alba and all the others are magic
This lady has all kinds of magic ... I'd rather hear genuine talent with a real sense of the music, rather than some ultra clean soul less over rehearsed recitation of a song

Difficult task... In 2013, Rita wasn't in the band, and Andrea has had six years from there to develop further. Plus, while Rita showed her enormous talent in the first years, I'm afraid to say that, IMHO, she overpowered her emotional way to sing this music in the last two years. Now, with the more "folksy" songs in a different setting, she's back to her strength. I love her for being a brilliant and promising young musician, but not to replace Andrea. I love this song as it is!
