Just imagine how much more capability the microphone would have if the video was actually shot somewhere quiet.

Saw it flying today. It looks great. I don't know if because it was new but it was going very slow. I have been trying to see and track this machine since the unboxing. And what a nice birthday gift to see it on my day. That helicopter is a noticeable and very stunning machine. I hope to come and meet you guys and hopefully get a photo and video of this helicopter since you said I could come visit a few videos ago. Keep up the great content ice helicopters!

This is going to sound like a stupid question but what limits you from using take off power beyond the 5 minutes? Obviously the engine is capable of it

Not a stupid question at all; the power is limited by the pilot calculating their maximum allowable "Manifold Pressure" for a given day at a certain altitude and corresponding outside air temperature. They monitor the "MAP" gauge and ensure that the maximum power is not exceeded.
The engine will produce more, but using that additional power can/will damage the aircraft.

@@ICEHelicopters thank you for explaining that. So it sounds like in an emergency you could pull a lot more power if you really needed it. The reason I’m asking is because it seems like the Cadet is basically a Raven 1 just with no rear seats.

I'd say the most important difference is the answer to the question; just how much cheaper for the student is the Cadet than the Raven?
,...and how much more than the R22?

Joseph, if you'd like to give us a call, we'd be happy to discuss pricing in more depth! A quick response to the question: training on the cadet will save you money in comparison to training on the Raven. It'll still be priced above the 22, but, we think, not so much so that you'd choose the smaller option!

Whats with the blow torch !? Never needed one to unbox anything let alone a helicopter haha.
