Day of Dragons - Return of the Blitz Striker! Nighttime flight on the closed test server

- In preparation of 1.0.1, the closed test server opened up to Kickstarters and Patreons for a day. Besides pvp improvements and fixes, the Blitz Striker made a return! Sadly, no new emotes or animations, though I do believe the skin texture has had an upgrade - it's so detailed! Here's hoping we'll get the finished Blitz Striker soon.
Anyway, I used the opportunity to do some night time flights with Blitz as I love how this dragon flies and he fits so beautifully in the starry sky.
(Note that this is NOT the 1.0.1 release, just the test branch with an early version of some 1.0.1 features, everything here is still a WIP!)

That's because it is exactly that. Same with the Night Fury rip-off, the four-winged dragon (Stormcutter) rip-off, and if I remember correctly a Monstrous Nightmare rip-off as well. This game could have been a fan-made HTTYD game and been perfectly amazing, but nope. They went the lazy trace and re-color things road. *slow clap at DOD's stupidity*
@@TheEnvisFury ima be honest I wouldn’t mind seeing what they do with the rip off stormcutter as long as it isn’t just a slightly different stormcutter and the inferno ravager I think is fine? But if they added something interesting to spice it up like spitting out a flammable substance onto prey and being able to stack it up then hit them with fire to do extra dps would be very cool
@@TheEnvisFury tho u must admit they have the ability to make some interesting concepts like the acidspitter! The idea of having a dragon eater that’s flightless but has the ability to ground one is genuinely fascinating
@@barybarsboldia197 It's still a shameless rip-off, regardless of the "creative liberties" like just removing the Skrill's legs. It doesn't change the disrespectful intent.
@@TheEnvisFury true very true🤔 sad part is that honestly if they just made a unique design and kept it the concept the same it would probably be fine unless some how lightning riding is going to be a mechanic

Question: Since the dragon doesn't have legs, does he swim when hes not flying? Also this is neat, wish we games when u can just fly with dragons
He slithers on the ground like a snake! And while I don't recall for certain, I believe he's meant to be a decent swimmer as well
@SyIvanix i forgot that's another way to travel. That makes a lot of sense
the no legs makes the non dragon just saying that makes them wyrms
I didn't study dragon terminology personally, but I believe a wyrm would be wingless. The Blitz Striker is an ampithere, aka a legless serpent with wings. Both wyrms and ampitheres are often considered a type of dragon as far as I can tell :)
dragon is a broad term just like dogs. from what you're basically saying is that even an eastern dragon, a fantasy creature created thousands of years ago isnt a dragon because u believe a dragon must have 4 legs and a pair of wings? youre thinking of western dragon, one of the most common/popular of the fake species people created centuries ago. i can slap wings on an elephant and call it a dragon because dragons were created by mixing different species of animals. there is no real anatomy/structure to make your own dragon
@@SyIvanix Yes, wyrms and amphitheres are both dragons. Dragon is pretty much an umbrella term as well as its own species? I don't know if that makes sense all I know is all ampitheres, and wyrms are dragons but not all dragons are wyrms or amptiheres !
