I think the broncos need to publicly call out Milford and put him on notice that the next deal he will only be offered $500,000. Darren Lockyer needs to stop making player friendly deals and stop paying on potential and start paying on performance. The only player I’ve seen paid on potential that actually delivered was Kaylin Ponga. All the rest never improved and when called out for it sited having the big sad instead of lacking discipline. Like the guys said the broncos used to have a price they were willing to pay, and not 1 red cent more. Even if the guy was part of the plan moving forward they wouldn’t enter a bidding war. They’ve refused to pay more rep stars than some teams have produced. Now they just pay kids top dollar because what if he is good. I’m not opposed to the broncos bringing guys in. Trevor gillmiester, Glenn Lazarus, Luke priddis, Ben Hannant, Kevin campion were all bring ins and all of them had a premiership follow within a year and all brought for a specific reason. Now it’s throw money around and hope some of it is well spent.
The Aussie Cricket selectors stuck with Joe Burns to play against India when he was horribly out of form against Shield teams. Now he probably won't play for Australia again. You can't keep throwing guys to the Wolves when they clearly aren't up to standard. Get rid of the 2 current halves and buy a suitable partner for Dearden before you do even more damage!
Joe Burns' just isn't good enough flat out. Nervous starter but good once he gets going. He's just far to vulnerable at the start of his innings. Like a budget Shaun Marsh. His ability just isn't good enough.

St George knocked as out off the finals when Wayne was there by 50. Wayne started this with, Darius, milford,lodge. Darius is gone and until milfold is gone the culture will not changed. Put Nathan clearly in the broncos and u will see the difference. Milford catch and pass or kick and don't chase and miss tackles. Watch a penny game milfold.

They need to draw a line in the sand and just keep the guys that are buying into the vision now. If they want these ridiculous amounts of money let them go because at some stage they are leaving anyway. Keep the genuine guts that want to be broncos. In my opinion 1.2 million for a guy that hasn't yet played NRL highlights where the problems are stemming from at the club.
Most of their problems stem from the actual recruitment of players outside of the system. They paid big on Milford, Jack Bird, Izzy Folau. Not sure how much Croft is on, but why did they get him, when they have Tom Deardon waiting. The biggest problem is the spine of the team

I think that's why Kevvy has kept him out so he's not thrown in and it damages him long term. I think they badly need katoni staggs back Tesi Nui is nowhere near ready for NRL defensively he is deficient atm in my opinion. Payne Haas will make a massive difference to what the team does I think

No NRL club is bad for youth. If you are good enough you will stand out weather you are in a bottom team or a top team. Look at Harry Grant at the Tiger's and there are many more. Personally I believe alot of the jnrs coming through there are overrated. People need to understand just because you are 16 and killing it because you weigh 105kgs against 70kg player's doesn't mean you will be great. In fact the opposite happens in most cases. Oh the stories of clubs saying a guy is too small and he becomes a superstar somewhere else.
Broncos culture is the issue and their recruitment. more wasted money on a nobody with 0 achievements to his name and not a single nrl game under his belt.
One day.. Just one day or week throughout the season, this show should try and do a positive show, just a show talking about good things in and around the NRL.
