Hi bro , Wangsa maju is the preferred jpj for conversion. Please reach there atleast by 7.30am. Counter opens at 8.30 to 9. Yes on your first visit they will give you an appointment which can be after 1 or two months. If you have appointment, no need to stand in line. Conversion is a separate queue and not many people will come.

You cannot convert your license if you're working in Malaysia under ( Temporary Employment) permit. Only PR holders, Employment pass category 1 & 2 , and other permanent residents like MM2H can convert licenses. I've lost around RM. 200 because of this misleading video. Please don't post half baked information for views.
Foreigners are not allowed to drive commercial vehicles in Malaysia. If they do then it's being done illegally. Driving as a job is only reserved for locals. Commercial vehicle license is called GDL. Anything business vehicle be it Van,Lorry,Bus are only reserved for local drivers. Please don't bring down the salary of local drivers by coming here. We are already facing so many issues with illegall drivers from all over south Asia and south east Asia and business likes to employs them because they are paid less no employment benefits similar to locals.
