Hes probably one of the patients.

gotta love a guy that loves their job. give him a raise
It's the only hospital in the country whereby, you don't have to wait years for an appointment but your appointment will probably last for years.
And where you’re likely to have a tracheotomy performed with a bread knife.
1 of 3 hospitals ;)
It's not the only mental hospital
@@stevenmclaren2730 Having had no experience of that kind of institution, I bow to your superior knowledge and experience.
That lad is a proper gent, if his employer sees this, give that man a bonus 👍
Best security guard to date? Fair play to the lad

The man called John was brilliant, a nice man.
Was he an inmate lol
He’s very theatrical………are you sure he wasn’t a patient?
He was very happy as well……..
@kennyw218 no but would say he is taking one of the inmates pills
Was it his car ??? He said he was going to check on his car...how would he know about it ?? Intriguing.
The residents are more sane than some of the public 😂
What an excellent bunch there outside. John is exactly the type of person every company needs!
This Security Guy (John) is giving me the Film 'Shutter Island' Vibes, it will turn out that he is a Patient from the Hospital 🤣🤣🤣 - Must admit he is one of the most Friendliest Security personal i have ever seen, a really nice Guy! - Great Video DJE Media! Keep them Coming
Probably a cannibal, looking for victims. 😅

Lest we forget, Broadmoor 'Secure' Hospital allowed Jimmy Savile unfettered access to all parts of the hospital, with Savile even having his own set of keys!
dont forget the BBC or Westminster
And Jimmy also took the school children of the primary school there to Windsor safari park unattended on a number of occasions 😢 and other activities, the sad truth is the authorities knew and still stood by and let him have access to the many innocent people 😡
@GingerBuddha330 The 'authorities ' not only knew about the abuse , but some of them were very likely were part of it 😢
Goodness gracious, eh!!
With the Police having full knowledge of such activities.
Ha that was his car - he thought oh shit I need to get this one on side
You are correct that's his car. he was quite keen to change the subject when police 🚔 were there.😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Security guy needs a top PR job 👍
Remember when Charlie Bronson was on top of Broadmoor ripping tiles off
I have watched many of your autdits and was impressed and informed by them all but Im afraid after watching this one my respect for you has gone down massively, it appeared to me that despite being treated decently and in a polite manner to you just provoke for a reaction..... I'm not impressed.
Exactly!!! That’s all these people want! If you can’t play the victim it’s not a good video apparently.
I think John was a patient.
Getting the gamekeeper vibe from only fools & horses from john
be funny two guys come in white over coats and call him in lol
Funny. Nearly spat my coffee out. 😂
You captured THE best interaction ever. Well done.
What an incredible audit, John was fantastic and is a credit to Broadmoor, the coppers were excellent tool well done all, the best audit I've ever watched👍
He has a 'thin blue line of silence' badge on each shoulder ffs 😅 he was only talking to him to delay him for the police coming...slimey
How many immigrants would the old Broadmoor be able to house and how much of a saving would that be on our ecconomy? Give the job to John, he'd keep everyone happy.
They are not "immigrants" they are an "invading army of fighting aged males"
Did you see that sign in reception.. *you don't have to be mad to work here but it helps*
😂
Seen it a million times in uk
Ironic I suppose lol
Surely a company looking at these videos would see that lads approach that puts the hospital in a good light, rather than the bully boy tactics from other places, he was a credit to his role, also the Police handled themselves well.
The old site looks ideal for housing all them people in the hotels 😂
My first thought
Excellent video tho I found it really interesting..nice one d j
i know of many such sites, our local tip looks very inviting
Fresh hotel bedding is needed after a hellish voyage cross the Channel.
Those men of fighting age treated very nice in hotels will be rounding us up and putting us in places like this very soon. Why else do you think they are here? 😩
John is a nice genuine person who I personally know. Some of you calling him a patient because hes been nice are gross and need to revalidate your life.
You get some trolls on here being stupid. John is a lovely person, an asset to the hospital. I thought that he was brilliant with DJE and I am sure that DJE appreciated the tour at the end. I found it highly interesting 😊😊😊

Was thinking the same he's the sort that gets a job at these sort of places to pick up tips from the inmates.
Wow , Didn't think for a second that o would watch an hour long "audit" video ... but that was fab . Cops were sound and John was awesome .
And just remember what most of them are in there for! Ruined a lot of families lives!!😡
Dje I watch a lot of your videos and I have to say this is the best one I've seen by far as it was in a world renown hospital.the guy who walked you around turned it around it was a real interesting video talking about the history etc keep up the good work dje.
Really interesting video. Fair play to John for taking the time to show you around and tell you some history. Loved those aerial shots 👏 👏 👏
Well, very informative visit and excellent discussion with the ‘guide’ John. He was an impressive staff member who deserves recognition and I hope his bosses appreciate his approach and contribution. Top guy!
Love the content mate. Always follow dj audits and love his stuff, you’re taking it a level above ☝🏻 👍🏻👍🏻
Who knew Broadmoor was such a massive site! The aerial shots are very impressive; you know: the ones which were 100% not going to be taken? 😂
Great video, never seen anyone do Broadmoor before and the drone footage was so good. Thx DJE.
DJE - i think would be good if you gave more props to that guy. he was giving not just 100% but 110%
Brilliant video , I loved how much he loved his job , so very passionate, a credit to the team . Police officers very friendly too . Top notch video , one of the best
The Police, the Staff member outside and yourself,10/10. Good to watch and very informative.
Wow, what a great guy and an informative tour 👍
John has got fantastic people skills Brilliant
The coppers were very good , they knew already what you was doing was legal and what you was about, he said his body cam was on when arrived, that's how you know they have seen many kind of these interactions with auditors etc on the internet before, they were professional though. As for john, whether or not he was keeping you there for the police, ( which i think he was ) he was polite , informative and had a excellent attitude towards you and its a nice change to see on a auditing or drone video. Both the officers and the geezer called john deserve positive comments, they were all sound as a pound.
Officers and John were great
I went to school in Crowthorne, the village where Broadmoor’s located. Every Monday at 10am they test the hospital escape sirens for one minute. A memorable moment of my earlier school years. A very loud, very clear, deafening sound, which we had to sit through each week like it was a normal thing.
The first guy on the info desk had a real shitty attitude.
What a great guy that is. Would be proud to go to work everyday with him. Police were great too. Really nice to see
That would be a perfect place to house all the migrants so the luxury hotels can be freed up for paying customers!
Yep they could bunk up in high security for the night ( It would just be the ONE night mind 😮)
What luxury hotels have been booked up for migrants? I assume you have a list of hotels you’re missing out on??
Best comment on here definitely
What an interesting video this is. I always thought that Broadmoor was old, dank and horrible. It's very nice to see that even the old building wasn't too bad. But the new building is really nice. I like the way that the police handled themselves. I particularly like the man who came out to you and showed you around, what a lovely passion he has for his job and how nice it is to see someone being so kind to you DJE. He's a great asset to that hospital. I absolutely loved the whole video. Thank you for taking the time to make this one... One of my favourites... 👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️💯
Police were spot on hope your reading this need more
Police like you guys 👍
Agree 🙌🏻
What a relaxed open minded encounter this was! An institution of this type is bound to 'ruffle the feathers' of some, but you treated with subtlety, whilst at the same time obtaining information! 'Nicely done' by you here!!
Great video, full compliments to that guy, what a fantastic interaction. You can tell by his enthusiasm that he really loves his job and is proud to be working at Boardmoor. I bet he interacts well with the patients as well.
Nice to have a much better look at the place for once. Nice one DJE!!!
Excellent aerial footage too mate! 👊
top notch security guy
Great video and so informative. Good job by the professionals outside, especially John. Well done
That car was definitely his motor 😂😂 shut that number plate convo down in a heart beat 😂😂
I kind of miss that place, although it could get violent and noisy at times I almost always felt fairly safe there from what I can remember of my time there, amazing to see it from a different angle though!!!!!
It was a good place to work
Was you a patient?
Yes but I was sent there by the NHS rather than the ministry of justice, I was detained for multiple suicide attempts including two where I had to be resuscitated, in addition to extreme psychosis partially caused by a allergy to medication, but also due to mental health problems, I was transferred there from another unit and stayed for a year which by broadmoor standards is no time at all, some of my fellow patients are still there, but I was in a bad way back then, but broadmoor one hundred percent saved my life and enabled me to turn things around, if I hadn't gone there I definitely wouldn't be here today, I'd be six feet under, but it is not a place you want to go voluntarily it is a very, very tough place to be, I mean they have at least one riot squad and extremely high levels of staffing!
So I will answer this in parts, most of my time was in the most secure part of the old hospital but I moved to the new hospital before it fully opened and was on a short-term rehabilitation unit, I didn't see too much of the hospital as I barely left my room because when I was in the most secure part I needed ten staff and a dog handler just to open my door, the new hospital was absolute luxury compared to the old hospital which in my section had no windows for patients to help prevent escapes, the old hospital had barred Windows that didn't open, the new hospital in my old section has special windows that have special grates on the inside, they are much nicer than the bars as patients can open and close their own windows, each low and medium security section has a enclosed garden just for that unit, in the old hospital most units shared a garden/courtyard, however in the old hospital until I reached medium/low security the only real therapy I was able to access was animal therapy, in the new hospital I had access to almost every therapy programme on offer, in regards to making a documentary about broadmoor I don't know if it would affect my own mental health and therefore I would be reluctant to do so, part of the problem is that I can still be recalled to broadmoor although it is extremely unlikely
Just don’t go to a standard mental health hospital as some patients are informal which means they can leave the ward. Major confidentially breach. I’m sure if anyone was suffering with their mental health they wouldn’t want to be splashed across RUclips. Let’s have basic respect
What is respectful is often subjective and a personal decision.
@@jeffnorris8848 if you don’t know what respect is then I can’t help you. It’s having morals really
With that said, I guess we shouldn't film in public because we do not know who we might capture on our video, somebody hiding from an abuser, somebody hiding from the police, somebody who is in witness protecting program and the mod is looking for them.
When he zoomed into the guy in the office, you can quite clearly read names on the whiteboard. That's a safe guarding issue.
@@librab103 the moral of my comment is….you go to a acute mental health hospital 100% you will film a PATIENT?!!! Let people recover and get better in peace!!! What are you not understanding here?????? Look forward to seeing your come back comment……if you can muster one. Would you do this at a general hospital nooooo so why a mental health hospital????
Wow! - 10/10 John - Turned it into a mini-documentary - Great questions as well. Polite and informed police with no attitude! Absolutely brilliant!!!
I used to live up the road From Carstairs And they still have air raid sirens and test them every 2 weeks Just in case of a break out.

I really liked this video John (Security) and the two police were all easy going, polite and professional, excellent video DJE.
Real roll model's for Security and Police, deescalation and friendly educated approach to drone and filming 10 out of 10 everyone.
That security man was so helpful. He turned a negative experience around but a tour around what more can you ask for.
Really nice man he gets a pass DJ ?
😊
Much more interesting when it’s two way and constructive rather than confrontational and the police having to come to mediate the situation
