I've got about 50 rounds on it so far and it will handle the longest, hilliest course you could ever imagine and the remote has a range of at least 200 yards. It does steep hills with no problem and is incredibly easy to start using and operate.

Heard rumors that a major trolley manufacturer is working on a AI-driven system with lidar sensors and a submeter GPS receiver. Autonomous driving and follow me functionality is achieved by connecting the system to the motor controls. In a ‘programming round' you can define parking postitions at each green and tee box and route safe paths around bunkers and hazards on the display. When playing an 'advance function’ drives the trolley to the next parking postition, so e.g. when hitting the green from 160 yards you could take out the putter and press advance and the trolley moves to the position beside or behind the green. From there to the next tee and so on. With the additional remote control one could still pause the autonomous driving when e.g. a playing partner hits his ball. Then just press continue and the trolley advances on its own. Of course one can always steer by hand in uncertain terrain. This is probably the future of electric trolleys.
Any thoughts about the Carttek 1500Li? Also, Stewart makes an X9 Remote (no follow) for $2,000. Thoughts on whether that model would be worth a $500 premium over others listed here? Thanks...

It’s made of aluminum, comes with umbrella holder and beverage holder and has the ability to stop itself if coming up to a large object like a tree or huge Boulder.. I’m thinking this is better than either of the follow me’s you’ve tested here.. it’s just coming out and their a good company from what I can find on them.. check them out and if you can review that then that would be great! ....btw it comes in $700 less than Stewart and foresight ... with more accessories .. I think it’s a huge win.. thanks!
It’s the Bentley of electric push carts. Just like a Luxury car, the price tag correlates to the performance and features you want. We think it’s well worth it if you golf often.

I owned one Stewart X9 Follower - 5 YEARS and the quality is a disaster due to material fattigue- the handle broke in follow mode, the two legs broke same resdon, the unbrella Holder broke in the wind, the battery didn’t last 18 Holmes, so had to buy a second one, the rubbet in the wheels ti soft laster only one year etc When claimed to factory I was tolf I use to much force ??? I only used the remote on normal golfcourses in Sweden. I had Sweden Technical Highschool demont the failing parts => result fattigue material 👎🏿 I would never recommend this vart, thats sold to be topping.
We'd actually add another - folded size. Depending on whether you need to take your cart home with you or if you can leave it at your club. It's also important to look at value rather than price as they are different things. We know Stewart carts are usually at the top end of the market, but if the features provide the greatest enjoyment for your golf game then that may well be valuable to you as a golfer.
