    I’d be interested to know how many golfers drive to the course in a car that’s worth less than these trollies.

      I don’t know many golfers who drive a car that’s less than $1,500. All the golfers I know are rich!

    I had a PK CT6 and sold it for a MC M7 Remote and the cable is great it means I don't have to take the battery out to charge it unlike the CT6. Plus the PK battery rattled like nothing else I had to add neoprene packing to shut it up. The M7 is fantastic, yes it is crap to carry in the house in the bag but overall it is great. The addition of GPS is somewhat pointless a watch is better to me and you don't need to subscribe.

      Agree with the cable, hated having to remove the battery to charge my PK and then potentially forget it, have the M1 now and it’s much better

    No, the future will be when I can stand or sit on it and go but in the same weight profile. Alternatively have an attachment with extra battery that one can stand or sit on giving enough torque for the extra weight.

    The thing the Alphard has that I don’t think the first three have is the gyroscope for going on slanted fairways. The Alphard will hold a straight line as you go down a fairway that is sloped left to right or right to left.

      The VERTX is a great choice (no bias here 👀)! We don't have any current plans for an updated Follow, so if ATC and the rest of the VERTX features appeal to you, then this is definitely the best fit for you! 🏌‍♂

    I don't understand why people want remote electric trollies. The main reason I have one is to pull me up the hills

  • @h3xys
    @h3xys Год назад

    Have the Motocaddy and great if you always want to be getting it repaired, not two years old and have had 2 controllers not bad at £300 a go. Technical support never seem to know what the problem is the just want you to send it back, had various other problems such as the motor plugs coming loose meaning it just randomly goes left or right, which depending on where you are can be a real issues had to pull it out of various bunkers, off a few greens which just makes you look an idiot. And yes he is right you will forget the rear stabiliser and then it will be tipping over a lot, and not great if you course is hilly ok going top and down but try going across and gravity will win.

    The weight of the trolleys is of interest to me. I used to have a Stewart remote about five years ago but as a senior it was getting heavy lifting it into the car.

  • @drewl4921
    @drewl4921 Год назад

    I had the Alphard on a Amazon special connected it up to a Clicgear, did not get on with it at all and sold it after half dozen rounds, I think if you connect it upto a push cart with a swivel wheel it would work better.
    Good review, I’d just have the standard Motocaddy M7 without GPS if I was to upgrade.

    I have the Costco pull buggy (it’s great and cheaper than the top names) then bought the Alphard
    I ordered the Rovic wheel clamps and just drilled holes into the frame to make it fit perfectly…

      Neither did I until I got one and now I won't go back to a standard electric trolley. I just walk behind mine its very relaxing and being able to manoeuvre it to the next tee while om my way to the green or while on the green is a great time saver for me at least. Closest thing to a caddie at this point for me

    Is there a problem with the Stewart not having a manual over ride - if the battery in the remote goes flat. Do each have a USB port so that can be recharged on the run. I use an MGI Zip which has one. You can also unlock the wheel and push if the main battery goes flat during a round.

    • @StewartGolf
      @StewartGolf Год назад

      The handset battery typically lasts three rounds on a full charge, but we recommend charging it whenever you charge the main trolley battery. Our SmartPower app also allows you to monitor the battery percentage of the main trolley battery. The VERTX also has the option of a freewheel mode too, just like your MGI. Hope this helps!

    • @richiestw
      @richiestw Год назад +1

      My remote is capable of doing 4 rounds although I usually do 3 and then put it on charge. I've had to run out on me once and the trolley just does an emergency stop. I then just put the wheels into freewheel and pushed it back. Wasn't too much trouble as I was on the 18th when it ran out lol!

    • @alisonburgess345
      @alisonburgess345 Год назад

      @@sbongardt Absolutely no trouble at all - still going strong. You need to have the prop wheel at the back extended properly going up hills. It's amazing how it handles it. Love it, really love it !

    • @sbongardt
      @sbongardt Год назад

      Thanks, Alison! Does it hold speed up and downhill like the Vertx claim or do you find yourself adjusting the speed up or down?

    • @alisonburgess345
      @alisonburgess345 Год назад

      @@sbongardt It's a bit like driving a car - the remote is like the gas pedal and you adjust the speed accordingly. It takes probably two rounds to really get the hang of it, but after that, it's SO easy. A big tip is don't put the remote in your pocket (say to go and putt) unless you hit the 'lock' button. I usually leave the remote on the seat... To your question - it does hold its speed..
