- Presenting a compilation of some of the great rivers of India. This is a follow-up to a previous compilation of mine titled 'Great Rivers and Railway Bridges.' The rivers featured in this compilation, in order of appearance are:
1. Sharavathi River (Honnavar, Karnataka)
2. River Ganga (Farakka, West Bengal)
3. South Koel/Karo River (Jharkhand)
4. River Sutlej (Ludhiana, Punjab)
5. River Nethravati (Mangalore, Karnataka)
6. River Wainganga (Arjuni, Maharashtra)
7. River Torsha (Cooch Behar, West Bengal)
8. River Godavari (Kopargaon, Maharashtra)
9. River Kaveri (Erode, Tamil Nadu)
10. Shivnath River (Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh)
11. River Teesta (Cooch Behar, West Bengal)
12. Tungabhadra River (Hospet, Karnataka)
13. River Damodar (Chandrapura, Jharkhand)
14. River Narmada (Bharuch, Gujarat)
15. Aganashini River (Kumta, Karnataka)
16. Beas River (Amritsar, Punjab)
17. River Brahmaputra (Guwahati, Assam)
18. River Tapti (Bhusawal, Maharashtra)
19. North Koel River (Daltonganj, Jharkhand)
20. Kali River (Karwar, Karnataka)
21. River Mahanadi (Sambalpur, Orissa)
22. Sabarmati River (Ahmedabad, Gujarat)
23. River Mahananda (Siliguri, West Bengal)
24. Subarnarekha River (Jaleswar, Orissa)
25. Vasai Creek (Mumbai, Maharashtra)
26. Godavari River (Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh)
Notable omissions from this (and the previous compilation) are the Garmukhteshwar Bridge over the Ganga, the Rajendra Set over the Ganga, the crossings of the Kosi and Gandak, the Tawi River in Jammu Tawi, the Yamuna river at Allahabad, the Brahmaputra near Bongaigaon, and crossings of the Krishna near Raichur and Kurnool. I hope to add them in a third compilation sometime in the near future.
Rivers, Trains,Metal Bridges:Perfect combination. Salute to all Railway engineers and workers for building these bridges. Condolences to those who perished in the construction

I think you should add some bridges on mighty rivers like Chambal, Son, Ghaghra, Ravi, Chenab, Yamuna, Kosi, gandak, hoogly, periyar, Krishna. These are some big names missing.... Although a very nice video by you..

I was expecting you would like show KAVERI river from Mysore region, but it was shown from Erode felt bit bad as a Mysorean but otherwise very nice video and really good to see all those rivers and best engineering work over these rivers

U also missed out the Mahanadi bridge at Cuttack, Odisha which is also one of the longest bridges of India... Probably as of now it's rank is 3rd ... With 2.1km length it follows the 2.7km long Godavari arch and road-cum-rail bridge and it's followed by the famous Pamban briage...
But anyways it's a great compilation of many famous bridges and rivers..

What about Krishna river Andhra pradesh
Too bad the sound (it's just what we expected about this promising title) is ruined by the wind. Turning the mike backwards (instead of facing the wind) and wrapping it with a piece of cloth would do the trick. An external microphone plugged into the camera is a must have.

Beautiful rivers a number of states have huge water but not have good cannal system for irrigation but punjab has really good system that why it competes all states in production even having very small area
One thing punjab rivers have very less water than others but poorly indian govt. Is taking punjabi water to others states like haryana nd rajsthan although punjab also have scarcity of water

Mahanadi is covered here - the one near Sambalpur by the Hirakud Dam. I have also covered it in another compilation of rivers in India, near Cuttack.

Also, I would like to make a correction Almatti Dam is in Bijapur district, Karnataka across the river Krishna, not near Hampi as I said earlier. Sorry for the wrong info.
