- With all this uncertainty in the world today, the one critical peace of tech that everyone needs is power. In a state of emergency or blackout, the need for power to keep things running and charged is a must. I've been super intrigued with all the new power stations in the market. I reviewed the Maxoak AC50 in the past and recently tested out this Bluetti EB150. In this video, I test out multiple appliances in my house to see what works and what didn't work.

I could imagine all my friends at the campsite asking me if they could charge their smartphone with that battery power station.
I would be the coolest person at the campsite!
Excellent!! I had to watch this video too, after watching your video on the Bluetti AC200P. Thank you for your information and demonstrations!! Doug
Thx Doug
Hey Aldryn, I have probably watched every video you have published, have never posted a response, but always give a like. The Bluetti EB150 is kind of popular with the Recreational Vehicle Crowd particularly when away from organized campgrounds with full hookups. For me it is to heavy as I enjoy getting off the main roads to trails or off grid. I need to keep my load light, so the EB150 is a no go. I bought the Jackery 1000 which is much lighter, about 22lbs, easy to carry. I have not had a chance to use it much, but I did lose power here in South Texas a couple of weeks ago and plugged my chest style fridge into it and the Jackery performed perfectly, the power came back on after about 17 hours, and the Jackery was down to about 40% power left, no doubt it would have ran another 4-5 hours. I believe you could probably take this out into the field and recharge drone, camera, phone, tablets, or most any batteries for a week or more with it. The EB150 is good, but again way too heavy for mine and most people’s purposes. Looks like you could have another thing to make videos on Power Solutions (for cameras, drones, and whatever), there are enough out on the market you could make videos for a year and not cover them all.)) You could even get into solar panels, cables, etc. Keep up the good work. I will go back into my silence now.))))
Very Cool, Aldryn! Heck, I wish I had known you were testing this unit cause I would have asked you to come up here with you vacuum to test it at my house, LOL! Yeah, they are now making them large enough to handle a refrigerator for several hours. They’re all heavy due to there battery banks. Nice done, you take care! That’s a good deal at that price!
So all in all, I just learned that heating water and AC drains more Watts than anything else! Wow! Hehe Thanks Aldryn! It was very interesting as always :)
This thing is a beast ... true I can see everyone tapping me on the sholder saying ... can I get some juice? NICE gadget to have. I'd be ready for flying and all ANYWHERE!!
FlyPath that was a Great Video on the Battery Power Station - Bluett i EB150 1500Wh/10000W ! Thanks for another Great Video !
where did you get the coupon codes? I have the same bluetti and i plan on make a video of it for on my channel. Very nice video what kind of camera do you use?
I like the fact that bluetti is solar compatible!
YES
Those are beasts. Got to love a good traeger also.
Great video. Have you looked at Chargetech? They have a few batteries that can charge multiple devices, have a small footprint, and are lightweight.
Great vid Aldryn, haven't seen you in a while hope your well 👍
Thanks Red. Been busy at work and family. Nice to take a few days off from testing and shooting.
I travel so much and this would help so much thanks
4:33 wife is thinking “what is my crazy husband up to this time..”. Don’t worry, I get those same looks. 🤓
lol pretty much
Can you charge using the car?
I think "portable" is becoming a stretch. Portable doesn't just mean it can be moved or brought with you or my one-ton pickup would be considered portable. I've also heard them considered generators. They are simply storage devices (smart batteries). They can be charged with exterior power but they don't generate energy. You can generate power with a solar panel and store it in them. It's seems pretty niche.
I think I will need to bring car trailer with me everywhere I go, to carry this units 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ya its pretty heavy
Can you let me know what I can buy to run AC unit
Can this be used as ups or while charging?
Can you travel with this on the flight?
Can you do a video on your inspire please, it would be much appreciated
I was surprised at how little the Traeger draws! So how long would it power something like a small refrigerator?
1wk
When not using the Bluetti at what % should it be stored at? I heard not at 100% and not 20% ??
100%
Can It run a 5000 btu ac unit
Dope! keep it up Ace!
Am I the only one that has actually bought and paid for the EB150 , everyone I have seen on RUclips has been sent one for free to review and there are many lol , saying that though I love mine no regrets buying it , I use it all the time camping and in the motor home , I have mine charged by 400 watts of solar panels on the van roof.
Awesome to hear your experience
How long does it take to fully charge with 400 watt solar panel?
Informative post thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Can this bring my goldfish back to life
powering LED Godox 150fv light possible? if yes, for how long?
Just tested it on my GoDox SL60 at 100% and it only uses 80w.
nice, thanks
so what do you think for how long would power it..? about...
Sir, I just saw a review of that system by another youtuber and the results were very disappointing.
Personally, I have an outboard inverter that is 2,000 Watts continuous and 4,000 Watts peak by EDECOA. It's powered by four(4) scooter batteries in parallel and so far quite reliable. It powers Power Tools, refrigerators and other appliances.
Perhaps her system was a lemon or just a bad one.
Cheers...Eugene
Ya I was surprised to see how my power some of my appliance demand. For testing purposes though, I'm glad I put it to the test so that people know the types of things that work and the types of appliances don't.
Does the inverter work to charge the batteries or is that a separate setup?
Hii bro nice and your location
1500 quid in the UK. Well good review but it's not happening for me. There way over priced. It's a fancy battery with some expensive electronics to go bang. Stick with a battery and a solar panel X 10 as that's what you can have for the price of this alone. . Got to say. It looks nice
You said this takes 10 hours to charge and can plug into hundred watt solar panel… That is way off. You can plug in 500 W of solar panel in charge in four hours
Wow, who would have thought, if you give it more solar power, it can charge faster. Thanks for the insight.
@@FlytPath Well then maybe you should specify that in your video 😂
I have this one
Whats your thoughts on it.
@@FlytPath i like the power that it provides for the size of it. I started using it more during peak times to charge small appliances like phones, laptops, etc.... price wise a little higher than i really wanted to pay for the size of it.
Sorry bro I can't keep up. You talk faster than anyone I know. I still like your videos though.
I'll work on it
Wow, you could buy a LOT of batteries for that amount & run for 3 days! Your review is good, but that Bluetti EB150 .... is not impressive! $300 I might think about it .... but, there are better options!
In what world can you buy multiple lithium batteries for this price? 😂
@@dominicferro8314 You are going to have multiple sets of batteries anyway ... When I was active going to different locations, Inverter ($95) was my best option & charge between locations. That unit might be able to charge 3 sets of batteries for the Inspire 2, but I doubt it. Relax, that thing is $1000.
@@gtpjon you’ve lost your mind. $1000 is cheap. There is an inverter, MPPT charge controller, lithium battery all in a compact case
