"Fun" fact, that figuring of T-AI from RID, where she's bathing in the hot spring and Fire Convoy is creeping on her, was designed by the same guy who wrote and illustrated Kiss Players. Her design in the show definitely looked far less child-like, and more older teenager or young adult.

United Axalon was treated as an opposite number to Unicron, because the Cybertron figure was being sold in G1 animation colors as the _Ark_ of all things. I find it funny that Axalon was recolored from Sharkticon, who was designed to be an homage of the Nemesis. They even asked Ben Yee to borrow his copies of the comic design documents for detail and color matching purposes... which they barely even attempted to stick to, lol.
Well now you have to turn those two Deluxe Energon Optimus Primes into shirt and pants mode.

Coincidentally, this also describe that Dreamwave issue where Devastator beat Superion and everyone involved, including him, seemed so fucking awestruck that they forgot to have an expression.
I thought that was just every panel of Dreamwave.

I remember that issue ending with everyone looking up as if they were seeing something coming, then the next issue they were just back to fighting and I honestly thought I'd missed an issue. God I don't miss Pat Lee's involvement in the franchise.

The smaller Energon Prime can actually do SOMETHING, he can Powerlinx into the top half of a smaller scale Powerlinx unit (so like Hot Shot and Inferno). But he can't reasonably become a lower half.
Best option since he has both, Convoy with Optimus pants. :D

Yes, Erial is Elita prior to her reformattion, her and Orion were enhanced by Alpha Trion in G1.
And Energon Arcee was called Ariel in the Japanese version, Superlink. Which is also why she has the "ponytail" style head instead of something closer to G1 Arcee's.

The Energon Prime is power links compatible, becoming either he shirt or trousers with other deluxe Autobot figures.
The purple torpedo with green legs was Mini-Con Sandsting from RID 2015, he normally comes with a clear plastic Decepticon symbol sprue of model kit armour pieces. I've got the Ratbat from that line.
That Ratbat was soooo freaking weird. I loved it anyway.

5:34 There were little pod machines where you could get assorted Microns, there was Prime and Bee weapons and a Lizard axe and Cobra shield as wave 1 I think.
They also came in boxes. I got the Optimus that turns into his own gun, which I of course paired with my Prime Voyager Optimus.

I'd call it Failgate. It's based on the Tailgate tooling of the G1 Windcharger mould, after all.
I love that ENERGON SHARKTICON toy, and that UNITED deco is swish!!!! One of my prized possessions is having that mold in the Botcon SKYBYTE/Gelshark colors.

From what i've heard and seen some examples of, light piping is the best when it uses translucent white plastic and painted the eyes. It absorbs way more light that way.

I have that little Devastator diorama kit, it's a neat little display piece. I also have the Rumble/Frenzy (whoever you call the blue one) and that one is also neat. A friend got them for me when he visited Japan like 20 years ago.

While I still own most of these in their original Hasbro iteration never found the deluxe versions of Energon Optimus or Megatron. That limited run orange Prime is quite the awesome send. A long while ago I had somebody send me the Frenzy and Rumble from that statuette pack never really knowing where it was from until now. That shark vending machine is ridiculous and I kinda want one.

There's an official Rack n' Ruin in the Cyberverse toyline. Legacy will probably get one at some point. There WERE a couple unofficial toys of them, but they didn't transform.

That Axalon was sick, indeed. Sucks that it was the apparent foil to "Ark Unicron" and not even Takara bothered to do a proper Darksyde...way to ruin the rotations there. Then again, the United line had some wild stuff. Like a HUGE flipping of the bird from Takara to Hasbro with a "Rodimus Prime" that was a repainted Classics Hot Rod, retooled to have compatibility with the Power Core Combiners type Minicons (though I think Takara's were also called Arms Microns as well). I think of it as revenge for how badly Hasbruh butchered MP9 Rodimus Prime into a glorified Targetmaster Hot Rod...yesss.
Ariel was the pre-Elita-1, but oddly, Ariel was also Energon Arcee's name in Superlink. Go fig.

Oh heck yeah Unitrobo (pronounced Unite-Robo because you're smashin' 2 things together to make a robot). I've been into the whole line because of how daft they are. I just say the names and have people go... huh? Like Highspeedtraincheese. Or WhaleUFO. Or Applelobster. Or Penguincamera. The dangerous part is when you get enough that you can start playing with custom mashups that actually look half-decent.
I also see the name Unitroborn (Unite + Robo + Born) but I think that refers to the robots themselves and the line is Unitrobo?
