I'm super hyped about JD and Nolan Smith both making a huge leap forward this year and after hearing his story and seeing his mindset I'm totally rooting for John Ross to make the roster!
I think I speak for all or most Eagles 🦅 fans we just want them to freaking win get to the SB and win . This looking good on paper and over hyping the up coming season before a single game is played is not going to get me. I want to see it in real games week in and week out then I’ll start to get hyped and pumped up but until then ain’t nobody knows wtf is going to happen.
Can Sirianni lead as a head coach is such a casual question to ask. Sometimes I wish I could just give fans the ability. To always see the full picture. Yes the collapse last season starts with him as it should , he picked the coaches and it was some of his decisions that led to that, but it was wayyyyy beyond that. Asking can Nick Sirianni lead as a head coach is only asked if you look at those last couple weeks and ignore the first 2.5 years he was the head coach. If anything if you look at his whole tenure pumping belief in his players and leadership has prob been his best qualities. He will always fall on the sword for his players or coaches and will always fish out praise to them when possible. To ask if he can lead is actually insane and I’m not even some huge he can do no wrong fan by any means but it’s no way you look at his entire tenure and ask that question. There are other questions that can def be asked but that is not one lol
A brand new system, they lost their best pass rusher, there's still plenty of question marks at all levels and they were bottom 30 last year...for them to skyrocket to top 10 would require A LOT of things to go right, A LOT. The GA boys would all have to take tremendous leaps in progress, Slay would have to stay healthy and play at a high level all season, the rookies and young CBs would have to play damn near mistake free football (which is most definitely not going to happen), the pass rush would have to be at least 45-50% more efficient without their most efficient pass rusher the last 3 years. You can't even confidently tell me who is going to be the lead pass rusher going into 2024. Then you have a bunch of LBs who haven't started a full season, with the exception of Devin White who was benched at the end of last season, including the playoffs, for KJ Britt. Top 10 is a very very very optimistic take. Top 15-17 would be more realistic. Also, other defenses got better over the off season as well. Also, you have to look at the match ups...do you think this defense will hold well against some of the offenses the Eagles will face? They play some high powered systems...TB with Evans, Godwin, and White, DAL will give them problems at least once, WAS could easily put up 30+ against PHL again, GB if Love picks up where he left off last year, BAL offense only got better, CIN offense will be good until they break up the Big 3, CLE with Amari and Jeudy and if Chubb comes back and can perform 80% of what he normally does, could be extremely bothersome, ATL should be significantly better just with the addition of Kirk, and LA with a fully healthy Kupp, Puka and Kyren could also be very efficient. Let's try to be more realistic here...top 15-17 seems much more manageable
Top 10 defense for this year is not crazy considering that we had the best defense in 2022 and broke NFL records....Regressed to worse pass defense in the league in 2023 ...we can return to form and be top 10 easy even without hassan! we were the best defense not long ago so it's not crazy to think we can get back to ATLEAST a top 10 defense

Some questions at the LB position from the OLBs to ILBs and the depth at the DL is little concerning especially if Fangio plans to rotate his DL consistently throughout the games. Top 15-17 seems more probable
Davis is going to show everyone what he’s about, gives me similar BG in terms of career production, new defense system and we about to see him explode! So excited for the season!

You have to put a lot of blame on the DL coaching for not teaching and developing Jordan Davis the last two years. There is a huge difference between college game and pro game. He definitely has the talents but he has to be taught the pro game. You guys need to pump ya breaks. I’m glad the Eagles went and signed Clint Hurt. He did amazing with Seattle’s DLine…..
I’m predicting a middle of the road defense. Lots of young unknown possibly high talent players but I need to see it first. I don’t really believe in Fangios scheme in general. He’s never created a top defense as far as I know. He lives in the “slightly above average” range most of his career. I think top15 maaaaaybe crack into the top 10 by the end of the season but I’m not counting on it
@@JosephRowe-tb3hk people are putting such lofty expectations on a bunch of unproven guys. Jalen Carter has major potential but he has to dominate and play a lot more this year. Davis has so far been a limited snap average nose tackle. Dean has been injured and has a lot to prove. White has to prove he can get back to his form from a few years ago. Lots of young unproven corners. Slay is getting old. Our edge rushers are somewhat unproven. Could they be good? Sure of course. But to assume they are a top 5 defense I think is too much but some people are acting so confident
