Wires always get in the way. Many new chronographs have wireless, either bluetooth or wi-fi. If you have an older one you're not without options. By now, almost everyone has an old smart phone. You can use that to make it semi-wireless. Use the cable (a very short one can now be used) to connect the one with the app installed to the chronograph. This can be attached to the tripod. Next mirror that screen to another smartphone that you'll use at the shooting bench. If you found this video you can find videos on how to mirror screens. Enjoy.
I cant get mine to work at all...and no bluetooth connection either. Just took it out of the box and spent 2 hrs messing with it and new battery and blah blah. It's in the ready msg etc but....nothing after I shoot my arrow through it and of course "no bluetooth connection"
A chronograph can be helpful for determining power factor for your reloads for IPSC competitors. Looks like a nice unit love that it has both fps (feet per second, imperial) and ms (meters per second, metric)for metric countries. Thank you for the review.
The app is awesome and extremely useful for easy, detailed data storage. I prefer to save a picture of the target rather than a picture of the box of reloads in the app. the unit is very consistent. Fairly easy to see only 10fps or less ES if you handload and are very diligent.
I bought this chronograph a few months ago. Five years later, the premium package is slightly different. It comes with sunshades with the infrared built in.
It's probably an eye dominance issue. Pistol's easier to shoot using the hand matching your non-dominant eye. Rifle and shotgun it's much better to use your dominant eye's side.
Thank you for the review which I just found after I ordered this chrony....it helps to be assured that it functions as advertised...Will let you now how well it worked with airguns...Regards.
I just bought that same exact chrony... it gives me nothing but errors. Ive tried every trick in the book. Can anyone help me please? It looks like a good chronograph. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
I know she's not looking for a shot grouping or to keep the rounds on a particular area, but bobbing her head up and down upon each bolt charge is killing me xD
Excellent. I hand load for hunting up here in Alaska. I like that it does not have a sleep function as I often switch between rifles to keep the barrels cool. I don't like that you can accidently turn it on and drain battery when putting it away. There is a space for a spare battery.... Muzzle blast can affect the chronograph, so it should be >=15 feet from the muzzle. An inexpensive laser bore sighter helps determine exactly where the rifle is pointing in setup. Level bubble should be used in setup. Accuracy is +/- 0.03% so if every shot is exactly 3,000 fps, reading will vary ~2991 to 3009 fps. Shot should be level as well as chronograph should be level. The tripod that comes with it is very flimsy, so the deluxe version is a waste of money. Buy a solid used tripod at a pawn shop, good will, etc. The app permissions must be allowed using phone app settings...otherwise you just see 0 fps on the phone. ERR1 means first sensor did not detect bullet, ERR2 means second sensor did not detect bullet.
I don't have this product, but I will if it my android phone will work. The app did upload to the phone (samsung) , but waiting on proof before purchase.
awsome vlog ! what exactly does the '' sun shade do?'' it does not look like it shading anything..... awsome that Jen is getting familiar with fire arms , next time when you do a stance to squeeze off a few rounds , put your strong foot in the back for balance, and left foot in the front for posture , raise fire arm to eye level , have a slight bend for the arm that has the gun in hand. . . for spring recoil, so that you do not jar your spine .. ( hand gun ) . as for the rifle ...... raise it up eye level , so you do not have to lay your head over so much... cause when you do , the aim is off slightly from the target, and the rifle can comeback without notice, when it does it will not give you a memo.... save the eye socket. is awsome that he is training Jen on the basics, you a kool dude.
No mention of retail price, readability of chronograph screen, whether it is compatible with Android, iPhone, or both, size of effective skyscreen reading area, what details the phone app readouts provide, how the app stores information, whether the data can be sent online, printed out, etc., etc. I wanted to know more about the chronograph than the obvious of what's listed on the box, but all I got was a demo of the contents, inane remarks about deviations of velocity, and a pointless shooting demo by an attractive gal which can be found on countless videos. No valuable or practical purchasing information here.
Hey! I must protest! 🤬 The girl on the cover picture was wearing shorts. I came here to watch those legs, but she wears long pants actually! It's not fair!🤬🤪
PHA-Q the desperate are a serious issue in this new world. The'll do and say anything for a small chance to get a fake smile from the most mediocre woman. No wonder men are loosing value quick today. No standards.
The thumbnail lied to me, she was supposed to be wearing shorts :(
Thumbs down
Jennifer is why I watch the videos and Subscribed. She is awesome
Yep. Her husband is lucky to have a wife who loves shooting.
@@acoow Any man is. Glad mine does.
A Caldwell advertisement. When the chronograph 😅don’t work it’s your fault. That’s when the famous Caldwell tail light warranty kicks in. The ufo

WHERE ARE THE SHORT SHORTS!? You liars!
+David Clark Are you kidding? She's a hottie...no disrespect intended, but it would have been nice. hahaha
They got me with the click-bait thumbnail too.
little white shorts?????? :(
I remember a video with her in the shorts, they must have removed it. Guess there were too many comments. lol
good video because of Jennifer.

I dig it. Jen shoots hand guns righty and rifles lefty. Just a few of us that are ambi like that. Pretty cool and nice job!

a huge fan of Jen!!!! awesome job in explaining on guns and equipment. ..you sure know alot..
Thank you for the review which I just found after I ordered this chrony....it helps to be assured that it functions as advertised...Will let you now how well it worked with airguns...Regards.
Good video yall. I just picked up the Caldwell chronograph for measuring home made black powder loads and your video was very helpful.
Interesting shooting style..
Does it work if you run it in the sun without the rods and "light panels"?
I just bought one. Works great so far.
I just bought that same exact chrony... it gives me nothing but errors. Ive tried every trick in the book. Can anyone help me please? It looks like a good chronograph. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Use binder clips to hold a light weight towel over the defusers.
If you're using it inside it's going to error.
I know she's not looking for a shot grouping or to keep the rounds on a particular area, but bobbing her head up and down upon each bolt charge is killing me xD
like the videos! Jennifer definitely adds to the channel! keep up the good work!

Ordered one of these chronographs, hope it works ok!
I would like to see someone compare data shooting at 10-15 yards as the manual says and shooting up close.
New stuff is always fun

Yea what happen to the white shorts she had on in the preview
awsome vlog !

My IPhone 12 how do I plug it in to the cronograph? I have no plug in on my phone ?
Where's the white shorts?
Is it possible to use a digital camera tripod for this chronograph ?
I am.
Will the IR kit help read velocities in the dark?
I'll Admit I did no click on this video for that stupid chronograph
Grow up, little boy!
What phone are you using?

Is Jen left handed?
Steve- Bi means 2, Tri means 3. There are 3 legs...it's a tripod. Other than that, great video
Her shirt fits better than his!
She looks like the character in fallout 4 shooting that gun. 😂😂
Touchè guys, touchè. Baited. We all know she is a gorgeous woman.
I got click baited. Looking for Jennifer in the shorts, either way, she's got some nice guns
But Top Guns don't carry these...not the one in Terre haute:(
Holy cow. I came here for the Chrono review. Lost interested in it after seeing the presenter. Holy Cow.Thats a full 10 out 10.
I have a question and I hope no one laughs or thinks it's stupid. But do you shoot between the four poles or above the white sun shades?
@surf bum between the 4 poles
The massive spread on factory loads makes me question it's accuracy.
Wow 22lr only goes 6-700 fps!?? Wth
Remington subsonic. For shooting suppressed.
what is her last name
David Neal , Trouble!
My first shot hit the screen :( Still works, just can only see on the phone screen.. :P
RJ Gould , put a brick in front of it next time. Tip I learned from a range buddy.
Girlie giggles just light up a room dont they!
no back stop. safety first.
"Top Guns" 😉
Working with her, I would need a bonograph.
I don't mind bolt action but the sound is annoying in this video
Where are those shorts ? Click bait !!
Dont worry me too came for the thumbnail...
Hey! I must protest! 🤬 The girl on the cover picture was wearing shorts. I came here to watch those legs, but she wears long pants actually! It's not fair!🤬🤪

You didn't notice the ring on the left hand? Lol
She his daughter?

It's not an app. It's a crap. App never works. But maybe it's just me.
Click bait
shes not that hot god. You all act like you have never seen a chick before.
PHA-Q the desperate are a serious issue in this new world. The'll do and say anything for a small chance to get a fake smile from the most mediocre woman. No wonder men are loosing value quick today. No standards.
You are both correct.
