I have been waiting for this. A real doner kebab has a hot chilli sauce, hot in taste and hot in heat. Ever since i first tried a kebab in the 80's i was instantly hooked. It was a great light at the end of the tunnel in an otherwise dark place. I made this source and it was perfect on my turkish doner from chapel ash in Wolverhampton. I top up the salad with fresh cut cabbage, spanish onion, cucumber and tomatoe. In the end, life was full of missed opportunties, spelling mistakes, awkward situations and silent parts.
What a cracking recipe. My local kebab shop changed their original kebab chilli sauce for something a little more synthetic. This recipe takes me back to the original one and is spot on...👍😁
Thank you for the recipe, I’m going to try it as it reminds me of my favourite from my local kebab shop, will let u know how it tastes & how close it is to their recipe :)
Just want to say, I’ve made something similar but I cut fresh green chili very fine, leave the on onions to be chunkier and add a pinch of cinnamon. It’s amazing! Oh, and red pepper paste instead of tomato paste
That sounds delicious. The cinnamon is just a great idea, I put cinnamon in so many of my recipes. I’ll definitely give that a go. I have used green chilli in this recipe when I can’t get red ones. I’ll let you know how it turns out :)
I just use dried chilli flakes. Depending on where you are in the world they might be called crushed red pepper flakes. And if you can’t get those you could just use a mild or hot chilli powder 😊
I am so sorry I didn’t reply to this. I always make the effort to reply but must have missed this! You could make it without heating it. But because I use onion and tin tomato, it’s just nice to cook it down a bit so that it doesn’t have that raw acidic edge. But you could totally try it without cooking it.
The recipe I based it on cooked it. So I cook this one. I also think cooking it takes away a bit of the acidity. But I suppose you don’t have to cook it. When I make green chilli sauce I don’t cook that one.
I’m so sorry it didn’t work out. Perhaps it was too acidic? Sometimes the brand of tomatoes can do that. I should probably state under the recipe to maybe add some sugar when this happens.
Hope you don’t mind, I’ve got a Little constructive criticism for your video, you should talk abit quicker as its a little slow even though it’s under 3 minutes, & make a few less steps by joining them together (so for example- say add the onion garlic & chilli to the food processor, instead of add the onion, add the garlic etc. Or say ‘add the mixture to the pan & bring too a boil’ -instead of ‘add slowly turn cooker on’ etc :) also there are videos out there that talk about how u get your channel to grow, the do’s & dont of RUclips etc, how h get paid, what they’l flag your video for etc (I know bc my daughters just started a makeup channel & im thinking of a cooking channel too! Lol!) so have a look to get some ideas, it’s really helpful! The mukbanger BLove gave some good tips to MaeBaeLife that I saw so I looked around & know soooo much now, it’s worth a look :) anyway take care & good luck :)
Hello, thank you for your comments. I noticed that I do leave a few gaps when I speak. So I have been trying to make the videos shorter, and speak continually. I think in some of my newer videos I’m starting to achieve that. Hopefully :) I did look at some of the tips to attract a bigger audience, I tried some of them, but I don’t think I’m ever going to get loads of viewers. And I think I am ok with that. I mostly do the channel as I like cooking (and it’s helped during lockdown) and if one person finds a recipe they like, then I am happy :)
Brilliant
This is my second time making it thanks for the recepie!
I’m glad you like it :)

@@chrispcooks2909 I only add green chili for the color. If you try it please make a video that’ll be fantastic 😁😁
I’m going to try this and let you know
I hope you like it, and remember adjust the chillies to your taste :) I think this has a nice heat level to it as it is
Will chilli powder do.? Thanks for the video. 🐱 🐹

Thank you for this excellent video will be sure to try this out! Please share a garlic sauce that we buy from kebab shops! :)
I shall perfect it and then show you :)
@@chrispcooks2909 look forward to it Chris. Thank you!
Why don’t you add the recipe in the description?
That was in the early days of posting videos, I didn’t put the recipes on then. I will add it now
Is it acceptable this can be made without having to heat the ingredients....thoughts?

Hi mate looks really nice
Thank you :)
Looks perfect! Is it hot because I like really hot chilli sauce 😋
I think it’s got quite a kick to it. But if you like really hot add some extra dried chilli flakes to it when you’re blending the ingredients. ☺️
@@chrispcooks2909 Thankyou I will try that 👍

When I make green chilli sauce I don’t cook that one.
I wondered why folk cook it . Think it’s supposed to taste better ? Helps evaporate some of the excess moisture too
I tried it today and it taste weird
Dont know what I did wrong

Good vid except for the loud music. Most ppl don't need to add annoying music, but they still do.
Garlic sauce next

Forget about the tomatos and use paprikas instead, much better taste
Do you mean like a red pepper chilli sauce? I can make that too.
Coriander..🤮🤮🤮..other than that it looks tasty.
Use parsley 😉
