Just a quick question - once we prepare this how long can we keep it in the fridge ? Can we do it in bulk and keep it in the fridge for long ? Many many thanks
Not sure where you're living but if you're in the UK, Google 'TFC', international supermarket or turkish supermarket. There might be one closer than you realise. Failing that, there are a few online Turkish supermarkets but they tend to be more expensive.
Tried this, definitely looks the part but it tastes a little too sweet. Was hoping to finally crack the kebab shop chilli sauce. After trying it, I did heat it through to see if that made a difference but it still lacked something. I have heard some shops put cabbage or carrots in.
Hi Meliz, I loove your recipe! Always wanted to be able to make my own Ezme that tastes just like the one I love in Turkey. I have a question: Would you mind putting grams into your recipes as well? I'm always confused with the non-metric measurements and find it kind of annoying to convert it:/
Love Ezme, going to give your recipe a try. ❤
I love trying new sauces. This recipe looks easy and tasty!
You forgot kerviz and 5 more
Just made this. It's great, really close to the sauce from Harran restaurant on Green Lanes, which is what I've been craving. Thanks!

Add more chilli - depends on how hot the peppers you use are
Yes you're right. "only a few" simple ingredients
Shoutout to my Turkish Cypriots

I use measuring spoons for recipes like this, no my scales - 1 tsp = 5g 1tbsp = 15g 👌🏼
I added salt too 😄
I use two spoons, one for dropping what I’m tasting onto the spoon that goes into my mouth 😂
This was really nice! I added some extra chilli flakes and one more tspoon of salt for taste😄
Of course, add salt to your liking and more chilli if you prefer - I make this for my kids so can’t go too crazy! 🤣
But which recipe is the true Kebab Shop Chilli Sauce.
For sum reason I thought there was carrots in there
@luvbaking1
The chilli sauce at my local Kebab shop has carrots in it.
I don't know which is more authentic.
