Great video man, im on the gulf coast in alabama, and when we thought one of those storms was coming our way, i broke out my firman generator, 7500w dual fuel, and wouldnt you believe that the fuel thats in it is from 2020 when hurricane sally hit, and get this, it crunk right up!
That is very impressive that it started on fuel that old. Another reason to buy a quality generator. 7500w is an impressive generator, I bet you are popular with neighbors when the power goes out! :)
@FunnerToDoIt well, funny thing is, when I bought it, we only got 8 hours out of it before our power came back on lol, we replaced another generator (craftsman I think) because it started spitting oil and lost compression. The Firman was a great deal at the time, 800 bucks for a 7500w dual fuel generator, with electric start. That was the other surprise, i hadn't cranked it in 2 years and the battery still had the umph to kick it over several times before it finally started.
Hi there, thanks for this video. We have owned this generator for nearly 2 years and have been very happy with its performance. Something I have noticed on ours, and also noticed it on yours, is the fuel level information. When my generator is completely filled, the data screen will show it at 3/4 full and 2.4L, just like yours does. It also shows 8 hrs of run time, just like yours did. Do you recall if your's was completely full on gas? I'm not sure why it doesn't show the full 4 bars for full, like the manual says it should. I called Cummins and he did not have an answer. Said it could be a "board" problem?? I originally thought maybe I just wasn't filling it up all the way, but now I know that I have. Just curious what your experience has been?

I have not noticed any issues with ours. I do know that this run was at full level since we had just run it to clean up our yard after Helene.
