Those Stalingrad missions near the beginning are some of my fondest early gaming memories. I remember getting killed by the gigantic rolling smokestack in the first level over and over until I realized what "crouch" was. I remember the epic Soviet choir music as you charge the machine gun nest in the railyard. I remember thinking that the sniper defense level in the factory was literally impossible, and remember how awe-struck I was when I finally got to drive the tank afterwards.
The music still holds up today , too. Thanks for the memories, Kacey.

ya, when i played it as a kid.... i got lost in the sewers and never played it again
then like 5 years later.... i was old enough to "get gud" and beat it
      .
a lot of it is RNG and shit..... and back then, COD was PC first
      .
so instead of bad PC ports
      we got bad console ports....

Finest Hour was incredible. The first Stalingrad levels blew me away as a kid. It also had the best home screen music and intros that pumped you up before the mission.

I had Finest Hour at launch on Xbox, I really liked enjoyed it, the gameplay felt far closer to Call of Duty 2 onwards than the PC Call of Duty, which feels like a clunky open map objective based '90s PC FPS in hindsight. But the Xbox 360 and definitely PS3 weren't out yet, infact the PS3 was so late, they skipped COD2 on it entirely.

I never felt the ps3 was late. The wii didn't felt like a new next gen and microsoft wanted to be before sony. I mean, the 360 had serious problems because of this in the first renditions. About cod itself, you are totally right.

I love COD Finest Hour. I just want to touch on what you had said about The Sims for console. I remember back in 2001-2002 looking through Game Informer magazine just hoping The Sims would come to console. I never had a PC growing up and could never play The Sims even though I loved the concept. Finally, it happened The Sims for consoles and then Bustin' Out the next year. I loved those games! Still love them even to this very day. I actually have been playing Bustin Out on the original Xbox. I understand the PC version was better but this was all I had. If I'm honest the games were pretty good. I love the story mode in both games even though i will admit I never completed the first Sims on PS2 because of the insane difficulty.

This was always my favourite Call of Duty campaign, played for the first time ~2015. The higher time to kill, more head-on combat, + effective hip firing better suited my taste than the plucking away at heads in cover of the main series.
The multiplayer was alright, but there was some pretty inconsistent map design and poor weapon balancing. Big Red One was my perfect COD multiplayer.
Enjoyed the video, keep it up.

I actually remember spending an entire 4th of July Weekend in 2010 playing the Half-Life to death on PS2. While my classmates were talking about GTA IV and Gears of War, I was stuck playing GTA San Andreas every night, and that was some of the most memorable nights I had.

The last I remember even seeing was World at War. Any experience I’ve had on my XBOX was an authentic new experience for me as my mindset is so 2000s and hasn’t really evolved beyond that. It's been a small tradition of mine to willingly try out inferior ports just because I'm enough of a tech nerd that it's legit fascinating to see what the dev teams could pull off with the inferior hardware. I bought the ps3 version of Black Ops 3 last year but couldn't even play it because it requires a mandatory 4gb patch to even allow you past the title screen lol. I've got wifi now so im gonna download it and see just how abysmal it is.

This means a lot. I'm trying to stay consistent but work, school, depression & life got in the way; but I'm slowly figuring out a steady schedule and pace to get stuff out. These videos are learning experiences (For example, Ford Racing taught me to be careful not to bite off more than I can chew) and I feel like I'm getting to the point where it shouldn't be a problem. This week's staggering growth is a nice kick in the pants to realize "oh shit, there's a market for what I'm doing, people besides me care about this stuff, my time is not being wasted."
So, don't worry, the next video is in its early stages, and I know what I'm doing for the one after it, too. 2-3 weeks between uploads is my goals and I'll be sure to communicate when y'all can expect stuff realistically, and that means no putting absurd, impossible deadlines on myself that I'll kick myself for later when I miss them, but instead focusing on a realistic timeframe & keeping the scope of these things manageable instead of "hey go review 7 games in one video" like I did with FR.

Kacey I totally understand man. There’s a lot of things that could hinder your ability to produce with a clear mind. But take a step back and look at your videos; you have a clear talent and can easily connect with a loyal audience. While many RUclipsrs may have all their fancy edits and such, the quality of your videos as a whole and the message, script, flow of information and the actual important parts of a video are what matters and you excel at it. I mean shit, I used to hate racing games but after watching some of your racing videos I decided to give the genre a chance and I genuinely am excited for when my copy of Underground comes in. If you can convince someone who HATED a genre to give it a try, then you know you have some serious skill in making points and entertaining people through oration. Keep your head up, you have a real talent here and I believe that you will become huge some day

Denny Rice thank you very much for the words of encouragement. I’m still kickin and you can look forward to at least one more video before the year is out.
I hope you like underground! Come hang out in the Discord and tell us about it, I wish I could experience NFSU2 for the first time again

I bought this game years ago at a GameStop used for $2.99, and its is surprisingly decent to play for what I paid for it. Still love watching the animation reel that is in the extra menu

Would you be willing to do a review of the Ace Combat series? I grew up with “the holy trinity” and I’d love to see your take on it. If you want something truly unique, I highly recommend taking a look at Ace Combat X, a PSP exclusive that I would argue is a hidden gem of a game

I'm suprised that I beat this game when I was young because its absolutely brutal. Especially missions with only 2 or 3 checkpoints, and even the last mission that has 0 checkpoints. You take a lot of damage and your AI help is basically useless.
Its one of my most nostalgic games

Omgggg this game. I loved this game. As a kid, I was quite naive, but would play the game on veterans day to honor the dead in the game and all other real life vets. 😭

Could you do reviews to the Medal Of Honor PS2 games? They were one of my favorite games back then, but I haven't played them for so long, I'm not sure if they still hold up.
