About Josef Newgarden:
Josef Newgarden (born December 22, 1990) is an American race car driver who was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
He found a passion for racing at a very early age which immediately led to go kart racing prior to his pursuit of a professional motorsports career. He is the only American to win the prestigious Formula Ford Festival in England, a well-known proving ground for up and coming European drivers. After a foray into Europe he returned to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights Series, securing the championship in his one and only season. In 2012, he secured a multi-year contract to compete professionally in the NTT IndyCar Series, a rare offer for a rookie driver.
He is the 2017 and 2019 NTT Indycar Series Champion and drives the No. 1 Dallara Chevrolet for the legendary Team Penske.

Great video! I want to take the tour as soon as they open back up for them. I got my C8 on June 26th and it's going to Clear Bra Indy for PPF, ceramic tint in a couple of days. not doing the entire car as you did, but full front, mirrors, fenders and hood.
Cool video. Probably the very first one of C8s being built. Mine should be born around 07/15 if current production numbers stand. A bit sooner if rumored 2nd shift starts either the 6th or 13th. Can’t wait ! It’s been a long frustrating journey.

AGREED. A lot of a guy walking around fumbling for words. How about show us the assembly process.
I like the dash in my C-5 better than the C-4 or C-6/7. It reminds me of the C-2 dash of the late 60's. I'm not quite sold on how the new dash looks. That bar running down between the seats would take some getting use to. My 02' looks great in white and it looks great on that C-8.
I profoundly dislike those LCD dashes as they have no personality, just a tablet designed to fit in there. The steering wheel is disgraceful and the absence of a manual transmission unbearable. I don’t know what GM were thinking. Probably they weren’t as per usual...

Thats the rule from media perspective. They don't want things in the background to be shown much because the Z06 wasn't released yet. I worked there at this time. The fact that he was allowed inside to film is wild.
