Congrats on getting the new table saw. The little wedge of metal sticking up behind the blade is called a riving knife, it helps prevent kick back. Yours appears to be loose, which would make it ineffective. There's a little lever down inside the saw that you can use to tighten it up.
This is why I came to the comments. Remove the throat plate and tighten that up. It keeps your cut from squeezing the back of your blade and launching the material a thousand miles per second at your face. Turns out it's quite a helpful bit of kit.

Not to mention when you don't have to worry when your next income is coming from you to will have plenty of time to fool around & waste money or what ever makes you happy.
Great setup, the only thing i would suggest, is maybe a short throw projector in the wooden panel under where the TVs are, so you have one big single screen.
I agree a projector is a great idea if you want to spend the money of a short throw laser projector. Remember he says he uses it every day for 2-3 hours just for the window feature. Now add in the gaming hours and TV/Movie hours and now he would be buying lamps fairly frequently. The other issue with projectors is latency. The average latency that is considered "good" on a projector is about 32ms and that is not "good" when compared to monitors or tvs. Many projectors are closer to 100ms and that's unplayable. So now you are looking at a High Lumen output Laser Projector with Short Throw and Low Latency... go ahead and do the research.... I have.... They do exist but how much do you want to pay?
Reading comments made me feel pretty much annoyed by these 2 bezels between screens. Anyway I was so amazed at how much attention and dedication you brought to your lovely project!! Congratz!
I was going to say, this guy must be single and so much time to do this kind of a project but then I saw four kids dancing in front of the TV. Huge respect 🙏 you deserve it!
It's very rare I watch a full length YT video anymore without skipping along or ending early but I've just ran this the whole length, this is a nice build man, some nice woodworking too, props for the in depth approach 🙏🏻
Dude. You shocked me. I have never seen such a big project. It turned out very nice. I'm sure you'll find yourself a nice one big TV at 120hz and up for gaming and TVs in the future. I wish I could be in your room. I see you love wood. This is very good. It gives the smell of the forest. Keep projects going. I am your new football of the day subscriber from Russia. I hope google translator translated my thoughts correctly.
This could easily be a premium set up. And not just for games, but for home theater and security too. This is taking entertainment set ups beyond the next level. It's also a pretty decent work of electronic art too. Well done.
Hahahahaha home theater with these bezels in the middle of your screen? Don’t make me laugh. It’s impractical and a far from optimal viewing experience.
I have a similar setup in my basement, and I love it! I went with a projector TV instead of flat screens, which definitely gives it a more home theater vibe. I do like the virtual window look though, that's very cool. And I'd love to set up lighting like that, especially around the bookcases.
Thanks Drew for the time, effort, great attitude and your amazing creativity you put into this video. Opened my eyes and mind to many things I had never seen before and didn't know about. Everything you did in this video is first class. I also really appreciate what you said and what you do by giving your plans etc away to others for free. Good work brother. I hope life is returning plenty to you too. By the looks of where you live and these videos I would say yes. Keep up the good work and thanks Drew.
duuuude! this is amazing, i definitely thought the bars would get in the way more when you are racing but it actually looks pretty damn good, when i was intently watching the racing i didnt even seem them i literally looked right past them, you did a amazing job on this project and i can only imagine how impressed you must be! turned out amazing my guy, im gonna share this video with all the nerds and makers i know!
Huge difference with the diffused lighting. Looks great too. I noticed that you go out of the way to take care of the little things that really make a huge difference to the end product. And I think that that's extremely important to whatever it is your creating. I'd say it actually helps you to be more creative and come up with more ideas on your projects as well. I enjoy watching your content as I would do the exact same things, but people also say I'm obsessive lol. You make it look so easy though! And the products you use, I didn't know that half of them existed lol you should be their spokesperson seriously. :)
Such a cool idea! Even if you're not playing games on it you could still use the screen to show you a beautiful view or a cool art piece or something. The possibilities are endless really.
Bruh the amount of work you did for this is amazing...To be able to think of something you want and to know how to build it is a talent not many have...Do you do custom or commissioned work as well?
You literally just created my childhood dream in this video! If you have any doubts at just how epic you are, consider this your reminder of your awesomeness!!!! Man, I'm so jealous, but it's just so cool that you did this!!
As a fellow maker I can appropriate the amount of effort that goes into not only building the project, but crafting a story and video around it. Great job!
Wow, cool build. It amazes me how many people are whining about the bezels. Ignore the haters who have nothing but jealousy and are too petty to realize that they don't matter in anybody else's life so they compensate by trying to force their useless opinions on other people they'll never even meet and about things they'll never be provided enough to interact with. Keep building what, where and how you want!
Gosh, I have to say your creativity and knowledge when it comes to woodworking is really inspiring. I just bought my first house about 6 months ago and needing to learn how to fix stuff myself really got me wanting to learn to do stuff like this, and just add some really unique and beautiful accents and features. If you have any tips on where to even get started learning how to do stuff like this or what tools are staples in your workshop that you cant live without, I would love to learn more! Thank you for the video!
Awesome video, one of the best I've ever seen. NO corny jokes, no fluff and sped up at the perfect times. Right to the point no long talking and explanations. You are talented!!! I was entertained the entire video. Make sure you do all your videos just like this one! You were able to get a lot in one video. This video could have easily been three videos but because you don't do any useless talking points and cringy jokes you crammed a lot in one video. I'm watching this video thinking "This guy would make a really cool friend to have"...AWESOME JUST AWESOME!!!
I’m not kidding. You’re a magician man, you can build anything and make it look stunning. Respect for building what YOU want and giving us the privilege to watch. Cheers
"That looks beautiful, congrats on the work! But I have to admit, it would be even more amazing if the three monitors were seamless, without those borders."
First of all, I was very happy with how fast this item was delivered. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxYR69rUVDfF56JHQRldV2uJeXaPA9LTZW It came a day before the listed delivery date, which was super great! I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !
Congratulations on your indoor world. You clearly work hard to build your life. It’s incredible to see someone use their natural born gift productively. You’ve also given me a few ideas of the window thing :) take care man.
Born to be a woodworker, forced to make youtube videos. Amazing content, loved every minute of it. But yes, in the next big upgrade you should definitely do something to minimize the bezel size.
Amazing build! Secure that ethernet cable on the outside, anyone could unplug your camera and connect onto your home network easily. Stay safe and continue to amaze us all with videos like these! :)
This is incredible. If I ever have a large enough home office I'm definitely doing the virtual window. This should have been like 5 videos haha! The gaming PC, the shelf, the lights, and the cloud piece, and the gaming chair.
Precisely. Me too. Why would I want that. We've known about extended displays since forever. I can't believe someone didn't know that. My son does and, he's 11 I think. Lol. Lord.
@@Hypno_BPM Lol. Yes. I have four kids. Do you remember the age of everyone of them? I don't. I just have a general idea. One of them just left my office. I'm busy making sure they are relatively comfortable. When it's their birthdays, they talk about close to the time and I'm able to get cakes and gifts. That's it. Sue me. When you have kids, you might get it unless you're one of those men who make up for not having so much money by recording every detail about the kids such as birthdays and so on. How many birthdays am I supposed to remember? I've forgotten mine before while working on a project for a client until it was 3 AM or so into the next day. Who cares? It's just a gratuitous celebration anyway. It doesn't celebrate any real achievement, growth or development. Just some days. That's my take.
omg... you are really awesome for giving us that much content in a single video, im watching and didnt even realized it was already 45minutes, you could easily split the video into at least 4-5 videos + tour + etc and get millions of extra views but you didnt, even if you did the contents you push out is still full of quality, just subbed
Awesome job man, bringing an idea you wanted to fruition is way better than just buying it off a shelf. Good on you man! Keep up the good work, and great video!
My God, it's a thrill when you have three TV sets, and you can play Forza Horizon 5 on it. You're just a genius! I'm shocked at how many bucks it cost and what price it is at all... Respectnoon you!
Excellent idea to make that window. Future upgrade could be a huge microled when they come - and get enough tiles to fill the same area to become a single 8K surface. Looks like a dream come true - and it's cool that you show how it's done for others wanting the same thing :)
I just finished watching this video. Freaking amazing! Who cares what crap people give you for the cost of the build. On you tube retrospect and hindsight are always 20/20 I personally had some questions but when you get an idea to build something an complete it, you love it as well as friends and family, that's all that matters. I love it dude! Keep up with the videos.
Likely because the original intent was to have them as faux windows, so the bezels just look like those on a window. Agree that now it's a lot more than just a digital window it would be better to minimize the seams as much as possible, I couldn't watch/play anything with those in the way.
@sadochismo3373 I just had an idea! Make them as seamless as possible, but have a same size piece of Plexiglass with a Black Wood 'window pane cross', you can pop over it, (to protect it when not in use as a 'TV') and also to make it look like a 4 panel giant window! :") Best of both worlds!
I think he should revisit this project and do just that, and then make much skinnier bezels. I get it as a window but now that it's gaming why not? Wouldn't cost much more money to do a small modification like that.
Other channels would have made all of those upgrades into separate videos. Very nice vibe. Thanks for sharing. And extra thanks for freely sharing your racing rig.
I like your dedication especially with the good lightning effects! One thing I would have done different, instead 3 TVs I would have placed one Laser TV (Ultrashortthrow Projector) in front in a hidden shelf so you have less work with the TVs and no cuts but still whole wall to see ;-)
As a gamer and an office designer. This is awesome, the best I've seen so far. Im definitely putting up a TV window in my next house. Thank you for all the steps! Amazing stuff.

yes the bezels is the only thing I don't like about it far to big, apart from that its an unbelievable setup
Damn dude. This was like 4 amazing projects in one. You gotta split that up and monetize each one. This was like 45 minutes of must watch.
So sick! What a fun build to follow along to. Lots of tips and tricks along the way.
Everything Drew does is just ridiculously impressive. So glad I found this channel!
you mean expensive
@@Glassboxgames your just jealous
@aquarius588 I mean tbf... it's impressive and expensive lol
Huge respect 🙏 you deserve it!
haha I thought the same thing.
nah bruh everyone just has 2 to 4 kids they keep in their basement
why is having kids a good thing?

Man that's a lot work. Look great now. well done!
Wouldnt a projector make more sense? Those bars would annoy the hell out of me.
This could easily be a premium set up. And not just for games, but for home theater and security too. This is taking entertainment set ups beyond the next level. It's also a pretty decent work of electronic art too. Well done.
yeah unnecessary bs taken to next level. energy required to power it. coal is burned for such bs.

Dude! I absolutely love the build! The way the lights all work together, and you can see outside. Then that chair setup! That is beyond awesome!
This video hits everything I like. Woodwork, gadgets, racing games. Thank you!
You literally just created my childhood dream in this video! If you have any doubts at just how epic you are, consider this your reminder of your awesomeness!!!! Man, I'm so jealous, but it's just so cool that you did this!!
wife and i have been binging on your vids as we just recently discovered you. Keep em coming.
I feel so satisfiying seeing how you build all these fancy personal dream space. You are super awesome man.
As a fellow maker I can appropriate the amount of effort that goes into not only building the project, but crafting a story and video around it. Great job!
I think you mean "appreciate".
@@uhlspetznaz Yeah, autocorrect ...
This was so awesome to watch you build this. Absolutely, phenomenal work!
Are those bars invisible to you?
He said he is not a PC gamer, and it shows. Most PC gamers would never feel comfortable with those bars indeed.
Cheers
You're an inspiration man. Thank you for sharing these builds.
Just speechless. This turned up so good... you can probably even rent it to close friends and make the money back in no time :)) - Love it!!!

This build is absolutely fantastic. The time and effort you put in was very well worth it. It looks fantastic and I would be very proud if I were you.
"That looks beautiful, congrats on the work! But I have to admit, it would be even more amazing if the three monitors were seamless, without those borders."
Bro your builds are too dope keep it up. If you haven’t already I hope you keep this up full time.
Hands down the best setup I've seen, the camera addition was mint👌
Love your builds Drew!! Keep up the amazing work🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations on your indoor world. You clearly work hard to build your life. It’s incredible to see someone use their natural born gift productively. You’ve also given me a few ideas of the window thing :) take care man.

Amazing content, loved every minute of it. But yes, in the next big upgrade you should definitely do something to minimize the bezel size.
Keep up the good work mate!

Precisely. Me too. Why would I want that. We've known about extended displays since forever. I can't believe someone didn't know that. My son does and, he's 11 I think. Lol. Lord.
@@bygodwearemen you think your son is 11 😂
@@Hypno_BPM Lol.
So much content in one video! You could make 4 of this, love it though! Great projects, looks amazing.
Thanks Tuur! Wasn’t sure if I should keep it as one or split but figured people can skip ahead if they want
this is incredible. ive always dreamed of doign this and to see it built at this level of detail and care set the bar high thank you!
omg... you are really awesome for giving us that much content in a single video, im watching and didnt even realized it was already 45minutes, you could easily split the video into at least 4-5 videos + tour + etc and get millions of extra views but you didnt, even if you did the contents you push out is still full of quality, just subbed

Awesome job man, bringing an idea you wanted to fruition is way better than just buying it off a shelf. Good on you man! Keep up the good work, and great video!
Not if it looks this shit... dude made a 45-minute video for a crap result lol

My God, it's a thrill when you have three TV sets, and you can play Forza Horizon 5 on it. You're just a genius! I'm shocked at how many bucks it cost and what price it is at all... Respectnoon you!
playing sports games like nba or fifa on this is absolutely the coolest thing ever. I'm getting goosebumps. its too big for shooters imo
Excellent idea to make that window. Future upgrade could be a huge microled when they come - and get enough tiles to fill the same area to become a single 8K surface.
Looks like a dream come true - and it's cool that you show how it's done for others wanting the same thing :)
This video was LIFE to me. You’re blessed with. phenomenal talent skill and creativity. Rare combo! Keep them coming bro!

For real. There isn't anything this dude can't do.
Same 😏😏
I can't believe you didn't get the monitors as close as possible to each other, (much less taking them apart and making them nearly seamless..)
What an amazing work! Dude, you're a genius!!!!!!
I like your dedication especially with the good lightning effects! One thing I would have done different, instead 3 TVs I would have placed one Laser TV (Ultrashortthrow Projector) in front in a hidden shelf so you have less work with the TVs and no cuts but still whole wall to see ;-)
Yup. Agree.
Saves so much effort and no awful bezels in the middle of the screen.
I agree. The thing that kills it for me is the huge black bars in the middle..
Had the same thought
those don't get bright enough to work as faux windows
As a gamer and an office designer. This is awesome, the best I've seen so far. Im definitely putting up a TV window in my next house. Thank you for all the steps! Amazing stuff.
i think Linus Tech Tips did a video on making a tv into a false window if you wanna check that out, results look great on theirs, but it does have quite a recess unlike this one, but instead uses one huge tv.
