    Do you follow up with a moisturizing shampoo? because African Black soap and Castile soap is drying to the hair.

    • @LIFEwithLoMari
      @LIFEwithLoMari  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can certainly moisturize with a shampoo afterwards if you find necessary, or you can moisturize with a leave in conditioning mist or leave in hot oil treatment. Both are available for purchase on my website www.maisondeloumari.com if you’d like to purchase.
      Thanks for watching!

    So we shouldn’t wash our hair unless we’re able to retwist it after?

    • @LIFEwithLoMari
      @LIFEwithLoMari  2 года назад +1

      I highly recommend retwists after your wash but even if you don’t Retwist it after, as long as you separate the Locs at the root, after washing to prevent them from marrying together, you should be okay! But don’t wait to long after for your Retwists or it’ll hurt to separate the hair again.

    just curious if i could wash my locs using this method im almost 3months in and about 4-5 inch. Legit scared to mess up my hair

    • @LIFEwithLoMari
      @LIFEwithLoMari  3 года назад +1

      Hey hun, so I would first ask your loctician if it’s safe to wash on your own now, that’s if you have a loctician, if not then i would avise that at 3mo’s you’re typically able to wash but it all depends on how well the hair is locking so far. So to be safe if all your hair has atleast one bud AND you’re able to Retwist your hair immediately after washing then you can cover your hair up in a wig/wave cap, Make sure it’s on tight and leave that on while you gently wash and massage your your hair. Leave the cap on until you come out from washing completely. Then Retwist. Hope that helps and good luck on your journey.

    Hi can this shampoo be used weekly or every two weeks?

    • @LIFEwithLoMari
      @LIFEwithLoMari  3 года назад +1

      Better if used every 2 weeks because it’s very clarifying, if used every week be sure to properly condition afterwards. My hot oil treatment video will be posted soon!
