This was on the list for about a year now, maybe a little longer. Finally got a bottle and now have a new favorite whisky. In fact, it's the best whisky I've ever had in my entire life!
One of the first distilleries I visited. A really honest, well made malt. I wish I could find their peated expressions here in Oregon. Thanks for the video.
There is now a peated non age statement whisky by Bunnahabhain that is not been presented here which is the Bunnahabhain Moine. It’s very affordable as well, there isn’t very many reviews on it so I presume it’s fairly new or perhaps they have changed the branding and names.
Great episode. Enjoyed Ben's tour comments and those of the Bunnahabhain ambassador. Got a bottle of the 12 at Morganelli's great store in Columbia, S.C. Unfortunately not available where I live in the Pacific Northwest, sadly. Must try the 18.
I'm enjoying my first Bunnahabhain 12 yr old at the moment 😊 and after treating myself to the Bunnahabhain 18 yr old a few months ago - I'm impressed with how much taste & complexity this 12 yr old has. Needless to say that Bunnahabhain 18 yr old is up there with Glenfarclas 25 yr old & Old Pulteney 17 & 21 yr old malts as my favourite dram.
Thanks for reviewing Bunnahabhain 12 Now. Keep up the Great Transparency Quality. Don't mind the small old warehouse, building, ..whatever it is called, save $ on producing Excellent Great Transparency Quality Scotch whisky is what counted and mattered. Another example similar to a simple but delicious "Local" food stand. On sale special at $58 CAD. (£29), going to wrap a few now. Cheers. There are so many great single malt choices nowadays.
+jeeper999999 Where are you located? I got my mother to buy some for her and my father a set of 8 Glencairn glasses on Amazon.com. She has Amazon Prime so they did save a bit of money on that purchase.
Is there a reason they don't put the age statement on their peated whiskies? Surely being 10 year old whisky would be something you'd advertise in other words.
Another good tour, thanks! I don't understand why they'd release a 10 year old peated as a NAS though? Either there's younger whisky in there or they have plans to add younger in the future, very strange.
Ben sort of 'scared' me a bit when he tasted the first of the peated Bunnahabhain, and he said absolutely nothing, and he did not express any sort of look... time passed. I've seen hundreds of videos here, yet I don't remember that reaction from Ben at any time. This had me thinking, maybe he didn't like the taste. I think of this impression I'm relaying as humorous. Ha!
KISSS - Keep it simple sense stupids, clean and tasty scotch. Thanks. Keep up the good quality scotch, Bunnahabhain. Thanks. ALL Distilleries listen up, Don't care what business purpose is now a day, however, STOP the Non Sense Waiste of money yucky COLORING - Scotch/whisky is not a darn cheap pencil crayon any way. Don't need double trouble in this life. Walked away so many brands bottles whIle shopping for a good scotch/whisky. Turned me off from buying ,sipping whisky. I decided to watch this marvellous tour while having a dram of the 12yo Bunnahabhain. Cheers! Keep up the great work.
I am here doing the same 6 year later!
Bunnahabhain 18 years old is by far my favorite whisky.Simply amazing!!!
I just purchased the 12 year old today and loved it! It's my new favorite!
Love the 12. One if the best.
Just discovered Bunnahabhain, lovely whiskey and a great distillery, I love that it’s unveiled filtered and no added colour.

drinking when you're 12 yo is quite unreasonable
I've only tried Bunnahabhain,s Stiureadair and I'm drinking it as I write this comment, so far this is my favorite single malt whisky of all time!!
Well done Ben. A very informative and interesting video.
Klasse gemacht ! Danke
17:29, the peated dram will WARM you up Ben! Slainte! ;p
What a cool room the stills make. They are like some kind of giant cartoon alien's kitchen.
Purchased the 12 behind my wife's back. Will it be worth the marriage?
Thanks for reviewing Bunnahabhain 12 Now.
Keep up the Great Transparency Quality.

das video ist genial, anders als die typischen tastings. interessant zu hören wie hoch der bourbon und shrerry anteil in dem 12 und 18 jährigen ist.
My favorite wiskey ever
Just bought my first bottle of 12. If all goes well I might have a new hobby.
Did you end up liking it? It's one of my favorites of all time.
Where can I get those small Glencarin glasses?????

7.20 I like the Sherlock watching whiskey
why didn't Horst do the interview?
Just an assumption but they run a big whisky shop in Germany. Perhaps he has to run the shop.

No online discussions, like Ralfy.com? Shame that!

Rather rough character your host, Benedikt. Enjoyed the on location video myself.
+jeeper999999 Only place I've ever seen them is in actual distilleries, got a few from Dalwhinnie last year.

Why not just put 10 year old on the label?
