I've listened to this a hundred times, and it's pure magic, Bravo. To me it's the greatest work of music composed and performed in my life-time. I think Maestro Slatkin--and his entire orchestra--agree.
I heard this concerto for the first time on the radio tonight and was just captured by it. I had to go to RUclips and listen to it again. I love the heat of this concerto. I'm so glad that I can add this to my classical favorites. Nothing new has caught my attention so much in quite a long time. Thank you, Mr. Camilo and/or RUclips for making this available to all.

This is clearly the culmination of someone who has fully integrated Chopin, Dvorak , and every other composer , and lovingly crafted a remarkable piece of music that will surely stand the test of time.

Wow! Se parece mucho a Stravinsky, Shostakovitch, Prokofiev, Hindemith, y por pedazos, a Rachmaninov. Excelente. Y sin embargo, es 100% Michel Camilo.
