      There is a small public launch on Kelley’s road just behind that Rawley Resort. Not a lot of parking but it’s free.

    That was fantastic. That Chute lock was next level! How much is a lock pass?

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      Thanks so much!! Ya that lock is amazing to go over for sure. For a seadoo it is $21 for a day pass. With that you can go through as many locks as you want in that day.

    Lucky we have the locks, the greenies would never let us build them now. Or have motorized boats or any fun.

      @@MarkForrestAdventures Just curious what marina did you put in or boat launch thanks

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +1

      There is a free public ramp in port Severn just behind rawley resort on Kelley’s road. Not a lot of parking but you get there early should find something. Now there are a lot of marine’s in the area just in case it’s full.

    Great video Mark, and thank you for the valuable information. I have to do that run. When do you do most of your riding, weekends or during the week? Might be something to think about to add the date on your map at the end of the video

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +2

      Thanks so much Rick! Happy it is helpful for sure. Yes, it is a great run you should check it out for sure! I like to take Fridays off and do Friday and Saturday and then leave Sunday open to see what might come up. Then I take a few weeks off and try to film as much as I can. I just got back from a week up in North Bay so those videos will be coming soon.

    Great video with interesting lock system, really appreciate the fuel burn info at the end. So many make videos with jet skis but never explain the fuel usage. Brilliant thanks.

      @@MarkForrestAdventures Hello again, could you tell me roughly what 6 bars on a sea-doo is in liters? My Yamaha holds 70 litres and trying to figure out distance. Thanks

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +2

      So Mine holds 60 Liters and I have more or less worked out that 4 bars is 20 liters so 6 would be 30 liters of course depending of how fast you ride and wind and waves but on average that's the numbers I go with. Hope that helps Cheers!

    I love the Severn river, great chance of good conditions. I have been warned about lock delays out that way this summer.

    • @MarkForrestAdventures
      @MarkForrestAdventures  2 года назад +2

      Oh I know if it is crazy windy every where else it’s a great place to ride for sure! Oh yes the big chute has had staffing issues so they were not taking big boats on the weekend but not sure if they fixed that yet.

      @@MarkForrestAdventures The system was working well when the current regime inherited it, it has declined since. Recreational boating isn't a high priority for the green crowd.

      ya would be great to see them put some money into it as it is looking not the best and make it great again and a pride like it use to be.
