Starring:
Hiccup horrendous haddock III
Grug crood
And Viggo grimborn.
A Dreamworks connection
Crossover of the century
And don’t forget about Raphael from ROTTMNT too.
He was there for like 2 scenes I think.
It's my birthday 🎂, so this review coming out today is extra cool. At least this film could've been much worse. Bayformers is the best example to me. Anyway, thanks for another review @RaisorBlade.
Happy Birthday! 🤘
That film basically got made five times, and, audiences took that long to finally jump ship, btw, it's no coincidence that, Bad Boys, was, considerably, better without him, unfortunately, the long interval between, two, and, three, likely, means that the franchise is over, drat.
A wondrous birthday, unquestionably.
@@raisorblade thanks
@@a.t.m873It's certainly perfect, unequivocally.
Considering it was released a few weeks after Toy Story 3, it was kind of a toxic sign that any Disney live action production was just filler content. At least we did got Epic Mickey later that same year and became much better received
For years, that was Disney's, MO, they'd constantly make forgettable, (at best), live-action, films, with a rare classic, (20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Old Yeller, Mary Poppins, Swiss Family Robinson), but, largely, they'd rely fully on the success of an animated blockbuster every four years, that strategy, ultimately, caught up with them after, TJB, was their last success for over twenty years, before finally coming to a head with, TBC, in 1985, only, TLM, in 1989, prevented this nasty calamity from becoming totally ruinous.
Never saw this one outside of Bobsheaux's review years ago. Although, what if this movie instead featured an animated Nicolas Cage cosplaying as Yen Sid while training Hiccup to become a wizard? And then they, along with Toothless, have to fight Doc Ock and a monster that's like a cross between Chernabog and the Red Death? You can also have them destroy some "Nine Realms" posters/billboards if you want to.
I am aware of this movie through Nostalgia Critic’s review of the movie. It was also the first time I had heard of Tony Goldmark and introduced to his work.
funnily enough, i was obsessed with this movie, especially with the rings 🤣🤣
You say I forgot it but I was actually thinking about this movie on a 2 hour ride upstate yesterday
Im not gonna lie i confused sorcerer's apprentice with percy jackson
9:20 You mean PEAK-olas Cage??
This and Left Behind are the only Nicolas Cage movies they are boring. Even movies like The Wicker Man or Willy's Wonderland are entertaining bad only because of him.
Its nice to see a Tales of Arcadia fan out there.
You should review the whole trilogy but I highly reccomend you review that horrid finale movie for a much better video first because a final chapter that horrible deserves it's own review so you can bash it to bits.
And it's best to save the first for worst and the best for last.
I don't know why,but I always associated this movie with a movie from 1977 that goes by the same name, but is animated and 10 times more scary.
Quite a coincidence yesterday I watched the nostalgia critic on this movie while I was waiting for you to upload
With Tony Goldmark.
Imagine if Disney did a Rite of Spring live action remake.
Seriously, avoid, temptation, period.
I enjoyed The Sorcerer's Apprentice back in the day. RaisorBlade's review was fun too, of course.
So, where’s the ultra man rising review
How to train your Sorcerer's Apprentice!
yes a review from one of my favorite youtubers lets go
Cage the Wizard!
This was one of my favorite childhood movies and I think about this movie a lot
I think that Monica Bellucci never caught on in the, U.S., because her idiotic agent moronically convinced her that, this, and, The Grimms, were great films, and, they, so, weren't.
Hay I liked this movie, saw it before the disney one. t the dragon ring, electric battle, the witch. liked it
Okay can you please review that awful Trollhunters movie
One of the few movies where Nicolas Cage is feels boring in his role only trumped by his one from Astroboy.
Freddie Highmore's disengaged, unfortunately.
A Disney film of all Disney films.
I saw the thumbnail and was 100% sure it was a review of a low-budget Disney rip-off
$150 million, hardly, low-budget, enough that it was a severe disappointment, despite, bringing in, $215 million, really, what a mess.
I remember me and my brother watching this movie so many times long ago and I can't remember most of it today
On a magical note, you're nearly at 35,000 subs! Congrats, bro!
I forgot about this movie for years until I saw a video of it's production and box office failure and their was also a horrible accident that happened while filming and I am just going to say it I have not watched a single live action remake from Disney since the pinocchio remake because I was tired of them and I am not going to see the prequel of the lion king remake because I have a feeling that its going to be a repeat of alice though the looking glass. Oh for those of you that don't know Alice though the looking glass is the sequel to Alice in wonderland 2010 but the sequel made less than half of the money its predecessor made at the box office so I think that the lion king remake prequel will be a bomb for that reason
Adding insult to injury, it was the last film for Alan Rickman, it's, so, rare to cap a great career.
@@matthewdaley746 oh really I didn't know that this was severus snapes last movie
@Trash-ef2jn Unfortunately, another, terrible, strike.
underrated tbh,i mean it has nicolas cage
I'd so much rather re-watch How to Train your Dragon then this generic fantasy movie from Disney
This film is better than Maleficent and its sequel.
Fannings both horrible, unquestionably.
I didn’t forget the movie
The reason i do
OneRepublic
I can't wait for your Maleficent review and see you tear into that garbage movie.
5:55 I love that YTP.
Particularly Elle Fanning, unquestionably.
@@matthewdaley746 "Your my Fairygodmother"
🤢🤮
Nothing against the actress, but that line was heinous.
@@tylerfish2701An insufferable performance, unquestionably.
I completely forgot this movie existed. Raisor was right on the money there.
"You're a wizard, Nicoles Cage."
"9/11 reference"???? That was a King Kong reference.
Seriously, that's, painfully, obvious.
I always get this movie confused with “Seventh Son”.
@raisorblade 5:59 keep adding Monkey Spinning Monkey by Kevin MacLeod in your videos man, and don't cut it.☺️🙏👍😎👍
I kinda like this, guilty pleasure and it was pretty fun. . also Raizor does a pretty sick and balling Nicolas Cage impression.
05:05 Oh my god, Raisor used an HourOfPoop clip?! HECK YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Also if it wasn't for Nostalgia Critic, I wouldn't have even heard of this movie.
Doug Walker's incorrigible, unquestionably.
*5:55
@@TheAmazingNightGuyJohn Cleese's hilarious, unquestionably.
@@jeremyusreevu237 That was also the review that introduced me to Tony Goldmark.
@@Hecuba107A great introduction, unquestionably.
I will always unironically love this movie cause I remember watching it with my dad. Also Secrets is a banger, good times.
I didn't forget... 😏
I freaking love this movie, and watching it as a httyd fan made it 10 times better
Actually, I did not forget this movie. And I liked this better than Alice.
I actually do remember this remember this movie and I actually like it
Yeah this movie flew by under the radar but I'd remembered it it wasn't Great but I'd remembered it
The Sorcerer's Apprentice was underrated AF
Loved this movie
1:22 can’t remember if I’m familiar with that meme or not
