I would like to add that we win in Florida if Juice Wells didn’t drop 4-5 . Prietkorn dropped crucial 3rd down. Jordan Watkins dropped 2 and 1 a touchdown. That’s not coaching or analytics. Juice Wells killed us basically all year. Love Lane, but when he gets in Red Zone. It has to be the worst play calling in country
100%! I've been repeating this over and over from the beginning and getting a lot of Lane worshipers pushing back. It doesn't matter one iota what recruiting rank, what transfer portal rank, what pre-season rank and how prolific you are on social media if you throw away games to KENTUCKY at HOME, and then lose two more games you absolutely shouldn't have, and miss the playoffs. Rebel Nation has lived in a world of mediocrity for so many decades that they've become satisfied with not sucking. Then they get mad at those of us who don't believe that's good enough anymore, especially with what we're paying coaches and players. It's particularly galling when people who haven't donated a single cent to the Grove Collective talk down to those of us who do. By the way, I was formerly "TampaZeke" but had some issues with a crazy person that necessitated a name change to avoid future issues with stalkers.
Still scratching my head on why we were giving a 3rd string transfer WR all those snaps at RB when the season was on the line. If we had such an elite roster, why weren't we more deep at RB....forgetting Bentley's unexplained absence.
@@jameskeyes9112 exactly! It really pissed me off that Jaxon Dart had to apologize for Florida loss. I know true leaders don’t throw others under the bus. But that kid dropped absolute DIMES for 58 minutes and receivers couldn’t catch a cold. He had a horrible last 2 minutes, but only because he was put in a situation he should have never been in. Got WR’s playing RB. Got 200lb Jordan Watkins trying to block a SEC defense end on 4 & 1. Meanwhile we running HB stretch plays with a 330 lb defense lineman. I was at the Georgia game and I really thought we were turning over a new leaf. No trick plays! Ball control! No jet sweeps! No Hugh Freeze quick outs to WRs. We played a game between the numbers for first time in years and put bta on them. But lasted 1 week.
@@Wallllddddeb-rj8pk There is a reality called WAOM(We Are Ole MIss). Whenever we reach for the next level, there always seems to be a fly in the ointment, a disappointment around the corner. It was almost like I expected a result like 2024 even before the season. Hopefully, I;m proven wrong, and Kiffing does mean it when he says "we're just getting started".
The problem is your coach. Same thing is true at Miami and Florida. It isn't about analytics. People were saying the same thing about Ryan Day before he broke through, the same about Kirby Smart before 2021. At one point it's not the talent. Can Lane Kiffin finally win something in his career? James Franklin has at least won a conference title and made the playoffs. Same for Sarkasian and Lincoln Riley. Mario Christobal and Billy Napier aren't ever going to win anything. Is Lane Kiffin? If not then what's going to be the excuse next year? First year QB, too much turnover?
@ he legit does but Trey Wallace dropped multiple passes lmao Allar gave him a perfect pass against Ohio state in the endzone and it bounced off his hands and turn into a int Trey Wallace isn’t that good also Oregon game lmao
Is Ole Miss too reliant on Analytics?
No they not,You need to understand the constantly changing football goes through this isn't 80s or 90s even the early 2000

@ Teams that rely heavily on analytics do win big games...Ask Buffalo
@ No team that has heavily relied on Analytics for Slot machine decision making has won consistently in College or the NFL.
@@LockedOnOleMiss you stuck on a old era sometimes you have to constantly go for it

The Raleigh, Mize, and Taylorsville are in Smith county. Freddy Martin
Inexplicable??? I think not!!! No game planning, not properly play calling. Failing to adjust. NOT TAKING POINTS!!!!+
We need to push the dart narrative as heavy as possible! Can’t have a 3 year starter NOT go first round for recruiting

Again Trey Wallace couldn’t get open in big games lmao not Allars fault
Every WR you have is not to blame it is the QB
@ lmao yes blame the qb with 3k yards and 24 passing tds and a 66% completion percentage not the wire receivers that can’t get open and drop catches
@@Arcticpokemon Every single P4 Top 10 game he doesn't complete passes to WRs...No matter who the WRs are
