Glad you enjoyed it! I think I'm going to stay with the concrete method that I have been using for years. The foam is okay, but it's way too expensive to put one Post in. I can buy a $6 bag of concrete and call it a day
I only put gravel in. Post looks like new 10 years later when you take it out of the ground. I put some gravel in then put post in and fill gravel around it until it's 2-3in below grade. Then add dirt on top adding extra dirt to allow for settling
@@ALWAYSOCCUPIEDTV I've used pea gravel, maybe a little larger and I have used some maybe inch in diameter. I think it was about 2.5-3 ft deep with 8 ft posts. I put about 6in in the bottom of the hole, set the post in and then added stone around it. I think I used around a bag per post. I was putting in 6ft fence with maybe 3in ground clearance. I'll have to measure the height to be sure. I learned this from a guy I worked with in the parks department for about 15 years
Once mixed, one needs to move with a sense of urgency. When you were dumping into hole it was coming out kinda chunky, need to operate faster I used I bag in a 24" hole it set up great...
Thanks! I removed it because I didn't go deep enough. I usually dig under 2foot, but I didn't dig that deep. I might give it another shot this year and see what happens. I still love my concrete products. Take care!
So crazy that the hole shoulda been dug 3ft and been a smaller diameter.... Could have sworn it said that right on my bag that i got 😅 jk glad to know you gave to follow that to the T or your gonna run into problems.
Good review.

I have Two questions. What gravel do you use? and what's the depth of your hole? I usually do 24 inches

Im going to have to return mine Lol. Thanks, fam
Any time! I'm used to concrete and this wasn't that durable to me. I definitely wouldn't use this for a fence post.
I think... I could be wrong... that you aren't shaking it right, you need to shake it so it moves between the 2 rooms so the ratio is right
Hello, I looked at the Home Depot website video before using it. It worked, but the issue for me was the hole I dug. It was too wide. IMO
Thanks!

Lol 20" isn't going to give you any stability. That foam is great at proper depth.
