Thank you so much! 🙏🏻 This is the only way I can get my printer to work when I am at work… anytime I change the toner (it is definitely out), it will not accept my new toner until I do these quick and easy steps. I manage this store by myself so I have to figure out everything on my own! So THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! 😊

And you're right, this "low toner" is such a scam. I know there's enough toner because the document I was in the middle of printing when I suddenly got the message about low toner was coming out nice and dark. This is going to save me all kinds of money on unnecessary cartridges.

I have the 2717dw. Didn’t work for me. I held the ok button and it gave me the rhythmic beeps, but never showed the menu you got. It still kept saying cover is open
Hey Rob, thanks for this. I had just installed a new toner cartridge and it kept telling me to replace it again. This seems to have done the trick. I have had the new cartridge for over a year, maybe two, before I tried to put it in. 🤔 🧐

It worked I’m so glad I have saved all my old toners!!! Now I can reuse them!!! They go for 60 bucks right now and I use one a month
