This Method will work EXACTLY as shown on PS2, Xbox, and PC since all of these Platforms/Versions have access to using the Taxi Driver Method and getting a Passenger in your Vehicle at ANY TIME whilst not on a Mission. Mobile and Definitive Edition are a little bit different. For instance, both can NOT use Taxi Driver as a means to convert and transport Vehicles and instead you will be relying on Mission Scripted Passengers and/or Thieves as a means to get a Passenger in your Vehicle. You can use Thieves with Android Version 1.6 and below but newer Versions have the Thieves Method not working anymore and only Mission Scripted Passengers work! As for Definitive Edition, you can use Mission Scripted Passengers OR Thieves, but you MUST BE playing on Version 1.02 or below because 1.03 for Definitive Edition has patched the Crusher Trick entirely, thus NO Methods work at all to convert Vehicles into DP anymore!
If you're using the Taxi Driver Method to convert/transport Vehicles, then you should know how it works. Get into a Taxi. Press and HOLD the button that will begin the Side Mission. Exit the Taxi and enter your Vehicle in which you want to convert into DP and RELEASE the button which will begin Taxi Driver inside another Vehicle not being a Taxi! At this point, go get a Passenger in your FRONT SEAT and drive up to the Crusher blocking the driver's side door. HOLD the button that will cancel Taxi Driver, exit your Vehicle, enter your Vehicle whilst pulling the Passenger out, and allowing the Crusher to drop the Vehicle back down to the ground before releasing the button. Do not release Taxi Driver too soon or it won't work! Now your Vehicle is in Ghost form and can drive through anything and fall through Blue Hell. It also can grow in size and slow your Vehicle down, so it's best to get it back to a Garage as soon as possible and once the Garage closes down on the Ghost Vehicle, it converts it into DP. If you exit a Ghost Vehicle and it's not inside a Garage, you can no longer get back inside of it, so keep that in mind!
Mission Scripted Passengers exist in various Missions and can be used as a way to get a Passenger in your front seat. Note that the next Portland Story Missions that take place in which you can do this for and use the Cheetah would be "The Getaway" and "Triads and Tribulations." In both cases, the Cheetah can be Ghosted and converted to DP during those Missions. If for whatever reason you decide to keep the AP Cheetah temporarily in the Portland Garage after doing the DP Conversion, you can reverse it into the building and transport it to Shoreside Vale just like how you would the "Corpse" Manana.
You do NOT need a DP Mr Wongs to obtain the Cheetah like previously thought. You can use a regular Mr Wongs as shown in the Video or any large and fast, durable Truck, like the Fire Truck.
DO NOT PASS "Taking out the Laundry" until you obtain the Cheetah. Passing "Taking out the Laundry" has the Triads become hostile toward Claude and could make obtaining it a bit more annoying!
The Cheetah is actually always available, even after 100%. However, if you do NOT obtain it on the first go through "Turismo," then it'll add an extra Mission Attempt to the Stats. So if you plan on going for 13 Special Vehicles along with the least amount of Mission Attempts, then this is the only way to do it and avoid that extra Mission Attempt in the Stats. There is another Method that can be used which involves you starting the Race with a Rhino, then driving it to the Safehouse and waiting there in the road for any of the three Cheetah's to come around. Once they come around, you can ram one and it'll instantly blow up. Then you just wait until the Race fails and then push the Cheetah's wreck into the Garage to restore it.
The Cheetah's featured in the Mission all have Traffic Default Colors and change upon reloading the Mission. None of them are special.
Fun Fact - The BP/EP/FP Cheetah is also TP (Tip Proof) before storing it in the Garage. This Property is removed after the Garage closes down on it. TP Property is only retainable by a Garage in GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories!

One of my favorite special vehicles in III. Thanks to your videos I have upgraded from the BP Patriot to this one whenever I mess around in free roam in Saint Mark's. Whenever I decided to have a different set of vehicle collection in new saves, I always pick this one and AP/EC Stretch because it is so nice to have an AP car in the garage.

I still remember when I tried it the first time. It worked straight away. Then I wanted to do it on my PC savegame and it took me a lot of tries. each time the Cheetah drove away too fast.
It's true. It can happen first try, or after an hour or two of attempts...If not worse. It's all down to luck. Just don't let the Cheetah escape and you're good. Better yet, try and IMMEDIATELY ram it and flip it as soon as the Race passes. This isn't easy, of course, but of course can be done and then this can be done quicker all around.

Back when I was "little," a lot of these Special Vehicles were either not known, unobtainable, or required cheats and such to obtain. Times have changed years later, of course. I love GTA III.
Well, back then, when I was playing III, VC, and SA, it was 2001-2006 and up until then, only LCS/VCS were BRAND NEW at the time, and I never played them, but did play and know III/VC/SA extensively and MOST Special Vehicles back then were like this. Nobody even knew of the EC Kuruma, for instance. Sal's AP/EC Stretch required Cheats to get into there and then Cheats to "fly" the Stretch over to Staunton Island to store in that Garage. Things were way more complex and difficult at the time, and all required Cheats, lol...
AP cheetah is killing me after driving away with passing the mission is too fast is the most nightmare in my life

If you are struggling with this vehicle (or you are impatient)
heres an alternative method!
(Note that this method requires a mission failure so dont do it if you really care about stats) Just wait by Claudes apartment and a cheetah will come (they usually arive at 90 or 100 seconds) then when they get there flip them! Once they are flipped push them to the garage and bam done! (Note that this can be easier with a tank however you cannot get 6 stars this early and if you wait untill the end of the game it will be like the description says it will have a mission attempt in your stats I dont care about stats) now all you have to do is just make it DP and drive to shoreside vale! (Another note :P that this has only been tested on the PC version not sure about DE & mobile and PS2)
Yes, this works, but what is the difference of doing it EARLY *all while still failing* or doing it later, after 100%, using a Rhino, still failing, still getting an extra Mission Attempt? It's the same thing. Regardless if you FAIL on the first go or pass it and then FAIL IT AFTERWARD, it gives the extra Mission Attempt, hence why the Video is the best way, no matter what, because it shows it obtained on the FIRST GO of the Mission, where it'll give you an Attempt AND a Passed Stat all at the same time. No blemish to the Stats.

I know, but you still didn't really answer the question of what is the purpose of doing what you said or doing it with a Rhino, after 100%? Failing it is failing it. In fact, I'd say FLIPPING the Cheetah might be harder and more annoying than using a Rhino which instantly blows the Cheetah up and then all you do is push the wreck into the Garage AFTER the Race officially fails (or it doesn't restore). The Rhino is easy to get because 100% means you finished the EV Crane and brought a Rhino there already. Free Rhino always there, then. No need to get a Wanted Level, lol...Rhino also always in Staunton Island, where *Arms Shortage* takes place.

@@LostMCClaude When I first got that Cheetah back in 2012 or something there was some "Coach" method, you block the road from Claude's apartment and Cheetah just rams the Coach and if *lucky* drives to Claude's alleyway. There, you just either block his alleyway exit and wait for the fail or try and flip the Cheetah and wait for the fail. This completely ignored the danger of wrecked Cheetah vanishing. So yeah, no Rhino was needed. I'd say in terms of SPEED this would be the best method, STATS wise, the pass of course and not the post 100% pass.

It's been like that since I changed the Settings before uploading the Xenia Video from a few days ago. So now, all Videos can do this AFTER that Video. The old Videos still don't allow it because this Service is pathetic. Where is the TOGGLE ALL Videos Switch for this? You have to go ONE BY ONE and do it manually, each and every....1,200 plus Videos. No.

Yeah, Ambulance is fine, but as you can see, I didn't even use anything that is DP. It's really easy even without any DP Vehicle in the end...

Same. Born in 1989, and grew up through the 90's and early 00's with GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas. I play ten GTA's these days and love them for one reason or another, but GTA III still seems to be my favorite of all time.
Is it specifically one of the cheetahs or are all the cheetahs AP because i got one that is bulletproof
No idea what broken game you're playing, but all Cheetah's in the Race are BP/EP/FP, add DP, now they are AP. Easy. Only shown the Run within a Video and have my Showcase Video showing all Properties of all Vehicles, so yeah, no idea what you're talking about. Shown this on PS2 for the Guide, shown it on Mobile for those Runs, etc...
the videos are surely upgraded! i like the new ones, hope you keep them coming and decide to quit because nobody watches :/

With an extra Mission Attempt. No matter what, if you don't get it the FIRST TIME THROUGH the Mission, you will always have ONE extra Mission Attempt in your Save and for your Stats than I do, and others who obtain it with the best and superior Method, which is this. Besides, the Coach Method isn't even good when you can just use a Rhino and blow the Cheetah up, wait for the Mission to fail, and push the wreck into the Garage and you can do all of this after 100% and it will always add an extra Mission Attempt, like the Description says, so I find any other Method useless. Game is from 2001. This isn't even hard to get, lol...

When the Vehicle is upside down, tipped over, and not blowing up. This Cheetah and the Bobcat later on are both TP, but the Property doesn't save in any Garage. That only saves in LCS/VCS. TP also exists in VC and SA all the same, but is deleted after stored in a Garage, along with Heavy, PP, WP, UH, etc...

can you obtain the Unique plain black Patriot from the gta 3 jailbreak cutscene i obtained one my self actually
The one in *Give Me Liberty* is unobtainable. You can find Black Patriot's in traffic. Nothing special. You can't replicate what you see in *Give Me Liberty* though. Best you can do is obtain a Traffic Default Black Patriot from *Marked Man* as a BP Patriot.

what would happen if you kept it as ghost vehicle?
It can only be a Ghost Vehicle for as long as you didn't store it inside of a Garage and/or exit the Vehicle. Once you exit it, you can't get back in, and once the Garage closes down on it, it converts it to Damage Proof (DP). Along with the BP/EP/FP Properties, plus DP, it's now an AP (All Proof) Cheetah.
I sincerely hope this vehicle explodes..., I got too angry trying to turn it the other way around.
If it blows up, you can push the Wreck all the same, but yeah, could vanish trying to restore it and such, then...
@@LethalVaccine I know that baby, but as I said one day, I did the old method, convert a Mr.wongs into DP, then collect the BP/FP/EP/TP Cheetah, I failed the mission but I got it, I just redid the mission and got another BP/FP/EP/TP with a Banshee and then I just killed an NPC to wait for the ambulance.
