  • Thought I might post other things related to GTA III other than beating missions with a wanted level. This video shows how to obtain possibly my favorite unique vehicle in this game but also how to make any car damage proof. Damage proof cars are NOT immune to Rhino's as they will still instantly blow up by contact.
Start the mission 'Turismo', given by El Burro. Play along the mission like you're supposed to until the race starts. Turn around and head towards your safe house at Red Light. The leader will always show up around the 101 second mark, but let him pass and take one of the other two instead. The Rhino is not a must, but since you would have to flip the opponent's Cheetah as a alternative, Rhino is much easier to use than any other vehicle. Make sure you don't leave the wreck out of sight too long or else the car might despawn, which result in you having to restart the mission.
As for the taxi/ghost car glitch: First enter a taxi. When the brief showing how to start the mission, press and hold the side-mission button (R3 on PS2, NUM + / Caps lock on PC) and then exit the taxi. From now on, the controls will be as you are looking behind so watch your steps. When entering the car you desire, you can release it once the radio starts playing. From there you follow the steps shown in the video and hold the button for the taxi mission before exiting the car. Hold the button and wait for the crane to show up. Once it hovers right above the car enter it and you will pull the pedestrian out. Once you entered, you can release button again.
(NOTE: the pedestrian you pick up must be next to you)
    BP: Bullet proof
    EP: Explosion proof
    FP: Fire proof
    DP: Damage proof

I love how the game calls us a 'Loser'. I still laugh when I see that.

There's another mission in III (The Getaway) where if you try to meet up the robbers without a vehicle, a string of text will show up that reads *You need a getaway vehicle, idiot!*
In the VC mission *Love Juice* , blowing up the drug dealer's vehicle with him and the drugs inside it, the game will call you an idiot for that. I didn't knew about that string until I saw DarksydePhil playing (and failing so hard at) VC where he failed the mission that way. Only he can do what's "impossible", lol.

This Method gives unlimited Mission Attempts, even if it's completed, or even after 100%. Just saying. It's why for my GTA III Special Vehicle Guide I show how to get it *the very first time through* Turismo and with *passing the Mission.* If this were VC on up, then yeah, pass the Mission, then get it on a Replay of the Mission without adding any more Mission Attempts, but this is GTA III and it *always adds* a Mission Attempt every time you touch the Blue Marker and start this thing.

I know, I just so happened to use the same save file I'm using for beating mission while having a wanted level. In other words, cheats have been used.
Speaking of stats changes, III never punishes you for using cheats, no matter if it's *+ wanted level cheat* or any other cheat. That changed in VC however, although you could still use the same cheat I've mentioned, but any other cheats will mess up your stats. Funnily enough, (though it's kinda understandable in a way) the count for *Wanted stars evaded* will NOT be added no matter if you're getting rid of them by completing a mission, the Pay n' Spray, or even the wanted bribes. The number of *Wanted stars attained* will still be added, cheated or not.
In San Andreas you can't even use the *+ wanted level cheat* without messing up your stats.

@@mehdiwinter4220 I honestly haven't typed in Cheats in the 3D Era GTA's since the early 00's when I was a noob at the games and thought they were impossible (like, 2001-2004) and soon after all of that, I actually bought a Gameshark which could do the Cheats and stuff, but without typing them in-game. You could activate them on a Gameshark and load it up and they were enabled or something. Again, 16-17 years ago, so I forget a lot about the ins and outs, but yeah, I haven't cared to use Cheats in forever...

I've only used the cheats in the same fashion as you as a kid. A bit ashamed of it now but back then I thought "Keep Your Friends Close..." was hard, and now I can beat it with a screwdriver only! (I even uploaded the video on my channel)
As for the HD titles, I've never ever cheated except for that time I wanted to test ZiT in IV and see what would happen if I dialed the number while playing the theme song in the ice cream truck. Once you've opened the text, you will automatically active the health cheat, thus blocking multiple trophies/achievements.

@@mehdiwinter4220 Yeah, I am going to be watching some of the Videos on your Channel one of these days. Sort of looked at it *closely* today for the first time and saw some cool stuff.
Yeah, but what sucks about the HD Era is if your Console dies and you get a new one, all your Saves have to be *resigned* to the *new* Console and all Trophies are just...Disabled cuz the stupid *new* Console doesn't think it's *your Save* despite it being your *own* Save, just from a Console that no longer works anymore. So, when I load my IV Saves on my new PS3, it doesn't say "Load Successful. Trophies Are Available." anymore. Now it just says "Load Successful."
In terms of V, I couldn't even resign my old Starter Save, thus, I had to redo it, and I don't think any other Save could be resigned for that matter, either, at least with the program I was trying to use.
Though, the Achievements in the HD Era are really lame, if you ask me. I don't even pay attention to them, and there is even Achievements exclusive to Online, which...I don't play, so yeah, no way for me to even get "100%" Trophies. I wouldn't care to do this, anyways.

Luckily I never gotten any bad luck with consoles giving up on life. Apart from 2 PS2 Slims I've owned, but I don't think really I've haven't heard any PS2 fan preferring the Slim model over the *fat* ones. Heck, I've had original Game Boy titles with batteries that lasted longer than the PS2 Slim!
I never really cared about trophies and all that since I'm pretty much a old school gamer. Although I've to admit that I really enjoy the online gameplay in IV as how simplistic it is. It had some flaws, but nothing that would make me stop entirely. I even softmodded the game on PS3 and build tracks around the airport and spawn cars for others to take a ride with. I even protected players from hackers who tried to ruin the fun.
Imo, the same couldn't be said about V, even though it had some potential of being something great. Played it a little bit and I could sense the direction it was heading back in 2016 and cba the tedious grind and quit. Looking back at now, I don't really regret it.

Well, you'll need to make a new save for that, unfortunately. And I would recommend you to make your own save and not download one. Making your own saves always give you the guarantee that you have full control of what you want in your save.
